A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

A good read. Not the greatest as somethings weren't addressed but a nice light read for when you don't want to think too hard. Whilst the relationships between our characters have had another facet added to them with the inclusion of Luke (the new assistant) and Marvin (a parrot their father inherited)
The death of a friend of their father's opens up another can of worms. The main beneficiary is found murdered after closing the town's main employer and making new adjustments to the terms of the trusts for the rest of his family. Another attempt at murder follows shortly. The sisters find out that the new victim is an illegitimate son and would / should be included in the trust payouts. With the help of the two seniors, the new assistant and the mouthy parrot the two sisters start to dig. Will they get to the truth?

Fantastic

I absolutely loved this book. In fact, I'm in love with the entire series. Bets, Jess, and the Applegate Sisters are lovable and funny. You won't be able to put the book down until you finish the last page. I Highly recommend this book and series.
