The book glorifies teh essence of pure love and devotion to Almighty Lord Shiva, in order to attain salvation or redemption from sins. The book is a harmonious endeavour made by the entire team. It is hoped that this book will add to the people's knowledge and do them the greatest service all over the world.

One of 18 major purana in Hinduism...I really love this book .i read its odia version .The center of this book is god Shiva and goddess parvati..Eternal love of Shiva for parvati is so pure and strong that he shared all the yogic secret to her and on their Union he taught her, 84 yoga asanas in a certain intimacy....Their love is so pure and there is a forever commitment between them.

In the first part of the book you find, how goddess laxmi was so much devoted to worship Lord Shiva and all the yama dandas in a concise manner.for every wrong deeds there is punishments and yama punish the sinners in his residence (yamaloka).
There is many more interesting story in it.i can't explain this holy book in words .i absolutely love it...

Mastak sohey chandrama, ganga jata k beech. Sraddha se shivling ko, nirmal jal man se seech.🙏🙏

A good book to understand a lot many reasons behind certain events in hindi mythological stories.

It begins from the beginning of everything and ends with location of Shiva temples.

The entire puranas filled with many short stories that portrays the Shiva Lela which makes it a bit lighter to read too.

Apart from the little editing corrections that are still necessary, it is a good idea to start the puranas with The Shiva Puranam
