Warning contains some Kissing

Olivia is the first book of my new series; Brides of Grand Prairie. The book is about a mail order bride who is months away from her eighteenth birthday with nowhere to go and takes a chance the man she is writing to is an honest and decent man.
Olivia was only sixteen when she is orphaned losing not only her parents, but her little brother as well. She is sent to a spinster aunt that she had never knew existed and the aunt turns out to be a terrible person. Her aunt throws her out in the street after two years. The man she has been writing in Texas becomes her only hope.
Jacob tried to find a wife among the young women in his home town but none of them wanted to live on a ranch. They all wanted him to sell it, however he loves his ranch and wouldn’t do that even for love.
When he gets an answer to the ad for a mail order bride he had placed he is thrilled. His friend, John, teases him but he had faith in Olivia.
Will she be the woman she says she is or will John be right and she lied to Jacob? Will Jacob be who he says he is and be a kind man to his new wife?
Find the answers to these question in the first book of the ‘Brides of Grand Prairie series’.

Olivia: Mail Order Bride of Grand Prairie Texas ( Mail Order Brides of Grand Prairie Texas Book 1)

I chose the rating of 5 stars because it was a story that deserved the rating. It was such a likable story, not one that I expected. It had all the good elements to make it interesting so that you did not want to put the book down until you had finished reading it. It had love, and all about family ties, and good friends and good fortune when it was least expected, for the heroine of the story. A mean relative who was mean , when there was no reason for it, except to be doubly mean because she could be, and no one could stop her or really did not want to knock heads with her. Try to read it and you will understand that the characters and plot are good and its worthwhile to read.
