If you’re a cat, you only live nine times, but if you live them right, nine is enough to solve the mysteries of the universe. Cool cat sleuths find clues as intoxicating as catnip and help fun-loving 1920s detectives solve mysteries without missing a nap.
Volume 3 includes five mysteries:
Cat Dance
In a speakeasy where any woman who says she's alone by choice has credibility, magical cool cat sleuths, Tatania and Zeus, and their human detectives, Grace and Jack, begin investigating a 1920s dance marathon that's turning deadly.
9 Lives to Live
If you're a cat, you only live nine times. But if you live them right, nine lives is enough. A luxury shoe designers convention at the Hotel del Coronado collides with an orphan train story when the cool cat sleuths and human detectives search for a wealthy man's missing wife.
MEWOW
"He has money. I like money. The whole universe came into balance when we met," a model said at a fashion show where the honored designer dies and the cool cat sleuths solve the murder without missing a nap.
The Fur Will Fly
One of 1920s detective Grace's best friends from Finishing School just got married and one just got buried. When Grace's newly married best friend arrives on a private train with her husband convulsing, the cool cat sleuths pounce on the case.
Right Meow
When a prominent guest jumps off a yacht during a party, 1920s detectives, Grace & Jack, are on the case with their cool cat detectives, Tatania and Zeus, finding clues as intoxicating as catnip.
Excerpt from RIGHT MEOW
"I feel better now." Grace stretched on satin sheets.
"Sex does that," Jack said.

The universe is compelling. 1920's America, the Charleston era. The stories are narrative driven and sometimes confusing, a new voice just appears with no introduction. The plots are simple enough to be solved by cats, so if you are more of a mystery buff than a ailurophile may not for you.
Plot holes, grammatical errors, big disappointment
I didn't expect literary genius, but I thought it would but a quick, lighthearted read. It took me forever to get through because of how disjointed the story plot lines are. Also, I'm pretty sure this book didn't have an editor. So many errors, all throughout the book. Yikes. I won't be reading more.
Even more repetitive, if possible, and not only repeating but also acting as if certain details had not already been mentioned and explained such as certain events that had already happened in earlier book yet now are being discussed as if the previous book had not already mentioned it, so sloppy writing and sloppy proofreading and just overall sloppy.
Yes there is another murder even in the Roaring twenties when times were simpler, or were they?We are talking Prohibition here. The two detectives set forth to solve the murders, little do they know that the magical cat with the big white fluffy tale is leading them to each murderer
Absolutely charming. Cozy mysteries are my secret passion for reading, and this took care of that love very nicely, thank you. The cats, of course, were delightful, the plots, for the type of story, were good, and the characters were fun. What more could you ask for?
I love the magic of the cats and the realism of the 1920s. U have to read from the beginning of the series to appreciate the story line but the author fills you in if you pick up in the middle
I love the magical cat mysteries and so enjoy the 1920's. The characters are great, or as Grace would say, "The Bees Knees"! Every story brings something new and fun. Hope Ms. Matthews plan more!
This set ended and I didn’t even know it was happening! Please write more about these four neat characters! Writing much improved from beginning books. One question I have though is- Why did Jack cut Nelly’s throat? It doesn’t seem to make sense. Thanks.
I had read the second in series before and didn’t care for it. I already this before I read the 2nd series, so I thought I’d try again. Boring and still trying to be Dashell Hammond’s Nick and Nora Charles and not succeeding.
I always enjoy reading Marys novels about the cool cats. I have only had one cat and I loved her so much. Tantania reminds me of her.. She could be very loving and smack you at the same time. Very good reading.
Cats and humans solve mysteries. Set during prohibition with speskeasys and daring flyers. Entertaining stories about a couple who have s nd live the good life.
