Wait for the second edition.

The reason this book gets two stars is because, although the story was fun and interesting, it suffered from some very severe editing issues. I enjoyed some of the characterization, especially with Yvette Arsenault (Kebec). I am a huge fan of Captain Canuck, and it was fun to read more about his adventures. To be clear, this is not an origin story. It takes place in the Chapterverse version of 2016.

I hope you enjoy the story as much as I did.

In its current state, this book is not readable. I tried to go back to this multiple times, but I just can't continue reading it. I didn't get very far into the book because of this, so I can't give a review of the full book's story. However, what I read so far was not that engaging, and the editing didn't really seem to be present for this book. It felt like Chapterhouse approved a piece of fan fiction for publication and that is unfortunate.

I look forward to a new edition that can maybe breath some life into this book though.

This book is a lesson on the importance of proof reading before publishing and selling a book. Hard to enjoy the book with so many editing errors!
