Terrifying read!
Another intense and engrossing plot twist in book #2 of 'Alex Hope' ongoing series. For this storyline, the serial killers dark and sadistic minds has no distinction between being sociopaths or psychopaths -- erratic, narcissistic, evil behaviors. Good secondary characters, well written and even enjoyable cognitive dialogue.
Highly recommended book and series!

I really like this series. The storyline is well written and the characters are well developed. I love how when I think it's over its not. I really hope there is more to come. I definitely recommend this book.

The way Estelliam writes just hooks you and will not let go. This is the second Alex Hope book and it was even better than the first, which was pretty amazing. Some authors struggle to mix romance with the suspense/mystery but Estelliam gets just the right mix so that one aspect doesn't over ride the other. The charcters are well developed and keep growing as the books progress. The setting is almost a character in itself because it plays a vital part in the story.

Intense, gripping, a roller coaster of unexpected events. A fast and scary ride into the twisted mind of a killer. The stories of Alex and Jess are amazing, thrilling, I'm addicted, fascinated and I want more... imaginative, hipnotic, and overwhelming!!!!! Bravissimo!!!! Well done!!!! Hope to read more of Alex and Jess.....I definitely recommend it!!!

4 stars. This was much better than book one. It's also a lot more intense which is saying a lot because book one was plenty intense already. The concept of this series is seriously so damn cool. Alex is a great character and I love how she's willing to always help with a case no matter how dangerous. Great read and I will definitely be continuing on.

Awesome action-packed sequel
It was a very enjoyable & easy to read as the narrative developed & progressed smoothly & effortlessly, as we get introduced & reacquainted with a good, unique, impassioned, dedicated & screwed up cast of characters.

JJ and Alex
In Buried JJ and Alex diligently work to solve the case of several women being buried alive. The twist in the case was surprising. I love the work of AJ Estelliam.

3.5 stars, fast read, not as good as the first book in the series. the main villain is a bit far fetched, but if you liked the first, you'll probably like this as well.
