Wound

Wound, the third book in the 'Deep Darkness' Series. In the far future humans have colonized a distant orbital, a world-ship that once belonged to an ancient alien civilization. Sev, a human colonist, has returned to Eden-3 after seven years in stasis drifting through deep space - crash landing on the wrong side of the orbital. In a journey that will take him through the heart of Eden Sev will be forced to confront his worst nightmares again and again as he discovers humanity's new home isn't the promised land he and everyone had been told it would be. Expect a personal character driven story about survival from Sev's point of view as he fights to return home against insane alien machines, underground cities and creatures, advanced weapons and the return of characters you won't soon forget. The events of Trigger have changed everything and the human race is once again fighting for survival though this time the starships are gone, space travel is impossible and we have only one last chance to stop running; if Eden falls we lose everything. Wound brings back many of the survival horror elements of Pull along with new twists and turns that make it a great stand alone story or read as part of the series.
