A thin filled with knowledge books for parents and adolescent (too, if they wish to read).
Author shares his view supported by surrounding in Arabia back when the book was first published in 2014. Even so, there are plenty reminders to parents.
What are my takeaway from the book:
- adolescence is a temporary stage.having knowledge and preparation help both parents and adolescent to go through this stage smoothly
- encourage the adolescent to find their interest and focus their attention/develop their skills.this would be very useful for their present and future
- equip the daughter with knowledge on mestrual cycle and purification
Indeed, there's a lot more to be done.
Building a strong ummah and our adolescents does require everyone to take part and work towards it.
