Keeping her by Holly Hart a five-star read worth keeping. This may just be my favourite Holly Hart read ever, and not just because I loved the characters and happen to share names with a great charismatic and compelling characters I have read in a long time. This is a second chance romance and it’s a great example, there are twists and turns in the story, there’s so much more than just the romance in this story. Sara and Chance may have started as teenagers in love but now they are all grown up and life isn’t the simple times it was then. Sara is a private investigator and Chase is someone who needs investigating, isn’t he? The background characters in this story are great as well, and all have a depth of their own to keep them interesting.
If you like an interesting story that will keep you hooked with some romance and steam in to keep you hot and fiery this is the read for you.

Ridiculous
This book was 83 chapters and an epilogue. It was about 64 chapters too long. I don't think anyone told this author that she isn't jk Rowling and this isn't that type of book. There isn't enough sustenance to fill 83 chapters. I'll give this author another try but goodness!!

I keeping thinking with each of her new books that there is no way Holly can top the last book she wrote, but she keeps proving me wrong, and 'Keeping Her' is without a doubt her finest work.
How can you keep the secret you promised, when you are about to lose everything? Two people knew the secret, one is dead, the other battling to hold everything together. When the secret is shared though, the real trouble starts. That is when you truly learn who can you trust. Is it truly your best friend, the one that held your heart and then destroyed it 15 years ago? Your Sister? Your brother? The only family you've ever known? Who is your friend? Who is your enemy? Were you just a pawn in a big game of manipulation? When Chance's secret comes to light, he and Sara will both learn where loyalties truly lie in this game of deceit, manipulation, terrorism, treason, and is it really all fair in love and war?
I did originally received an ARC for Keeping her ex, but sometimes the ARC reviews drop off, I loved this story so much, I then chose to purchase it to make sure the review would stay. If you've enjoyed any of Holly's other titles, you'll love this, and if this is your first time reading one of her stories, I'm sure you'll be as hooked as I am to this talented writer, whose characters feel like people you truly know, not just names on paper.

I enjoyed this story a lot. The characters were awesome and not just the two main ones. Sara and Chance were each others safe havens growing up but a they were torn apart with Chance going into the marines and Sara staying behind. They both have hang ups from their childhood and when they get thrown together again, they are forced to work some of it out. Sara has been hired to find dirt on Chance in order for her new employer to force the sale of Chance's company. What no one plans on is the bond between them being stronger than anyone anticipated. I loved the way that this story developed. There is plenty of action, intrigue and romance. The sex is explicit and weaved in perfectly. It is part of the plot because of their past and the issues that Sara has had with sex (no rape/non-consensual). The story has multiple twists that I didn't see coming and it kept me engaged and turning pages until I had figured them all out and Chance and Sara had their happily ever after. They absolutely deserved it and had to fight to get it. I thoroughly enjoyed this story!

Sara awakens to a pounding head, a foul tasting mouth, and a ringing phone! She has been told to meet a man named Pearce in thirty minutes for a thirty days job paying $150,000. Turns out the job is for her to investigate her ex that she hasn't seen or heard from in fifteen years. Chance and his best friend since high school, Tre are the CEO and president of a company named Atlas.
Because the girls' mother was manic she beat it into their heads that sex was evil and at the current age they were still virgins.Pearce was trying to buy out the Sullivans who had 66.2/3% divided amongst the family and Chase had 33.1/3% of the Atlas stock. I have read many Holly Hart Books. And have enjoyed them. I like that each book is a bit different so its not the same plot rewritten with different character names.
This book is no exception. This book is a second chance romance but also so much more. It contains strong characters both the main characters, the supporting characters and the villains.
There is everything in this book, romance, very steamy scenes, intrigue, danger, and much more.
The way the two main characters go about their reunion is different and shows the depth of the hurt, betrayal and feelings involved.
The end of the book also is a bit of a surprise but a good one and leads into what could be a 2nd book (not about the main characters but the story of the supporting ones possibly).
Really enjoyed this book.

Awesome contemporary billionaire/investigator second chance romance. Sara and her sister an investigation business and tend to work on humanitarian cases. Sara has an job appointment with a billionaire to investigate the CEO of a well-known company that often gives humanitarian aid around the world. As Sara walks in to meet the man she realize he's her first love. Chance worked his way up in life from a street kid living in the foster care system to the CEO of Atlas Security. Now with Sara in the picture š has to protect the Sullivan family and Atlas. Unfortunately Sara's new employer wants information that will destroy Chance. The story has suspense, intrigue as well as strong male and female characters that keeps the reader turning pages to get to the end. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write this review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Hart.

I absolutely love this novel! It is so full of action from the very beginning. I love how both Sara and Chance grew up in not the best of situations, but both ended up successful. When they reunite under difficult situations, they remember the good in their past and quickly reunite. But my favorite part is the way it end when Sara and Chance are working together to save some school girls in Africa that are trapped by a huge crack along the vault line with rebel fighters around. This is an absolute MUST READ! You will not be disappointed!

This was a really good read for me. The writing flowed well, and the story had a good plot. The only thing that knocked this down from 5 stars for me was Sara being stupid. I don't really want to give anything away, but if you love someone, you should trust them too, or at least give them the benefit of the doubt. I can't tell you how many times I rolled my eyes at her in several chapters. She finally comes to her senses, and the story goes back to being great again :) Chance and Sara have really good chemistry, and the secondary characters were good too. Except maybe Grace. She was annoying. I can't wait to see what comes next from this author!

The dynamics between Sara and Chance are fabulous. The two were best friends growing up and one thing changed there lives for many years . He went off to war and she just picked up her life but was still struggling thru old wounds . When they come across each other again even after all the years there's just something you can't stop .. if something is meant to be it will be

I have to say that this is my favorite book I've read by this author. It had me HOOKED! Both Sara and Chance had rough childhoods but the shining light in their lives was the other person. After an unfortunate event, they broke up and went on separate paths and reconnected years later in not exactly desirable circumstances. There's lot of drama, suspense, action, and of course steam. A truly great read, not that I expect anything less from this author!

I love Sara's strength! Through all her trials in her life, she has put others before herself. Such a strong woman.
Chance is a fighter through in through. Chance had a rough upbringing. Chance as a marine helped shape his character. I loved Chance's protective side.
I loved the chemistry & history between Sara & Chance. I adored them as a team against the world.

What a great read of adventure, suspense, treachery, betrayal, romance, and of course sex. Holly Hart continues to provide quality stories with characters who don't always do what is the "right" thing the first time, and then spend a lot of time trying to make it right or fix the foolish mistake they made. This book is definitely about the main characters resetting their lives and all the ups and downs that that entails to accomplish following their hearts and not their minds. Holly Hart has done it yet again. While she keeps to the alpha male type story, she moves freely between different storylines and ideas. This was is my favorite of all the books that I have read of hers!
15 years is a long time to hold out for someone but that is exactly what Sara and Chance have been doing, but nail fate brings them together, both have their own agendas. Both feel the sparks that 15 years can't erase.

This was a fantastic read. There were plenty of twists in this book that will captivate you and keep you spellbound to the end. You will not want to put it down. It was written with a dual POV, which helps to fully understand the character. The characters and the plot were very well developed. This is definitely a book that you will not want to miss!!!!!!

Chance Talbot and Sara are the leads in this story of second chances. They were together in high school and Sara broke his heart. Now they are put in the position of working together. These two have serious chemistry. I enjoyed this book and read it in one day. I really enjoy Holly Hart's books. Holly Hart really packed it all in this brilliant book - revenge, betrayal, distrust, blackmail, greed, murder, espionage, second chances, misunderstandings, romance and and and!!!!
NO SPOILERS as I really recommend that you read this totally amazing book.

This is a great second chance romance and it's told from a dual POV so we are able to get in the heads of both characters. Holly Hart has another five star winner here. Well written with great characters. Lots of surprises and a great ending. I voluntarily chose to review this book after reading an advance copy.

Really great second chance romance that will have you glued to your kindle. Sara & Chance wanted a forever until Sara broke his heart. Years later they come together when Sara is hired too investigate Chance. Their feelings never went away but will secret and lies tear them apart?

That cover, am I right? It's gorgeous. The story is even better!! Sara and Chance are great characters, they have a great storyline that flows so well that you get swept up in their story. It's a second chance romance that will keep you on your toes and make you hot under the covers. It's a definite must-read!! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Great story! Chance and Sara had a lot of history and chemistry between them. Lot's of plot twists with some "cloak&dagger" to keep you entertained. This is one of my most favorite books by Ms Hart and is definitely going on the "keeper shelf".

This book was fantastic! I just had one minor issue with Sara's complete 180 with her reactions to intimacy. Other than that, I was hooked! It was sexy, suspenseful, and had a kick @ss heroine! There were some twists and great secondary characters (yes, even Pearce).

"Keeping Her" was a bonus novel included in another novel I purchased and I profusely thank the authors for including it. It was a fast, easy read, filled with plenty of action between the sheets and on the streets, with Chance racing to save his company with help from an unexpected blast from the past! I read it in one sitting!
