Dosarul Golgota
Un thriller despre mizerabila afacere a traficului de organe şi cel mai mare tabu din istorie. Un pacient moare în urma unui transplant. Ceea ce la început pare o greşeală de procedură se dovedeşte apoi a fi crimă. În căutarea sa disperată a adevărului profesorul chirurg Gropius se pune el însuşi în primejdie de moarte. Instinctul de detectiv şi sentimente confuze îl aruncă în braţele a două femei misterioase. Dar doar una din ele îl va duce mai aproape de dezlegarea misterului. This is, unequivocally, one of these books, which after reading, makes you say 'wow'.

Este libro es absurdamente malo, tan malo que empieza a ser gracioso al final cuando ves repetir los mismos patrones durante todo el libro. La historia avanza a golpe de casualidades. Justo deciden hablar a una persona cualquiera que se encuentran en la calle de un país desconocido que resulta ser la madre de la persona que están buscando, pasan casualmente por mitad del campo y escuchan un sonido que escuchó cuando estuvo secuestrado y descubren la base secreta, justo conocen a una persona que conoce a otra persona que tiene la información que necesitan y no le importa jugarse su empleo o su vida para ayudarme. Ridículo.
Los personajes son todos estúpidos, egoístas e infantiles. Si sientes un mínimo de empatía por el protagonista, desaparecerá pronto, porque básicamente todas sus decisiones son egoístas rayando la enajenación mental, la interacción con otros personajes es siempre para sacar algo de ellos, algún interés o ganancia. Además que en ningún momento puedes llegar a conocerles, no se explica nada de su pasado ni de su personalidad más que la adoración que tienen al protagonista, incluída la adoración que siente este hacia sí mismo.
Y creo que lo peor de todo, aunque es difícil decidirse, es que en un libro de 360 páginas más o menos, la sinopsis te cuenta el eje principal de la trama (los restos de Jesús) que no se desvela en la historia hasta más de la página 260 y también el significado de las siglas IND, que se desvela sobre la página 340. Te cargas cualquier tipo de sorpresa o de suspense, ¿en qué estaba pensando el que hizo esa sinopsis? No te leas el libro, ahórrate esas 5-6 horas leyéndote la parte de atrás que tardas 1 minuto, porque en la historia no pasa prácticamente nada más.
Es una lástima porque la idea es buena (aunque no sea muy original), pero está desarrollada de una forma desastrosa, con un estilo muy simple unido a todos los problemas que ya he dicho. Le doy una estrella porque no se puede dar nota negativa.

Philipp Vandenberg a reprezentat pentru mine inca o surpriza placuta. Ma asteptam ca "Dosarul Golgota" sa fie un fel de thriller juridic, plin cu termeni de specialitate, avocati, anchete si tot tacamul. Am dat insa peste un roman bun spre foarte bun, cu o tematica destul de tulburatoare, actiune, ritm alert si mistere cam la tot pasul. Deci, ceva ce ar satisface orice fan al universului de tip Dan Brown, desi destula lume in mediul online se arata dezamagita de faptul ca acest Philipp Vandenberg nu se ridica la nivelul lui Dan Brown... in fine, parerile sunt impartite. Eu raman insa la opinia ca "Dosarul Golgota" este un roman bun, unde se calatoreste mult si...se moare mult :). Singurul minus pe care l-as mentiona ar fi ca scenele de actiune puteau fi mai bine elaborate. In schimb intriga este inteligent conceputa, la un moment dat nu mai intelegi ce legatura are una cu alta, dar in final totul se explica logic, si cu bun simt. Sunt foarte curios ce o sa imi dezvaluie urmatoarele romane ale lui Philipp Vandenberg. Recomand cartea!

Ik twijfel tussen 3 of 4 sterren. Philipp Vandenberg is een auteur die ik meestal graag lees (“De schatten van Imothep” bv.), hoewel er ook een aantal van zijn boeken op mij ‘gave up on’ lijstje staan.
De mix van archeologie en spanning doet het bij mij altijd. Het Golgotha-dossier is op zich een spannend verhaal, verteld in de typische ‘Vandenberg stijl’: een vlot verhaal waarvan de auteur ons - zij het met een knipoog- wil laten geloven dat het echt gebeurd is.
Achteraf bekeken heb ik het boek wel graag gelezen, me zelden ergens aan geërgerd, al heb ik hier en daar gedacht “Philipp, je draait rond de pot”. Een topper vind ik het niet, maar als je een fan bent van de auteur, misschien toch aan te raden. Ik heb er relatief lang over gedaan om het boek uit te lezen en voelde niet echt een connectie met de personages. Laten we het dus houden op 3 sterren, wat ook niet slecht is.

Diverse intriges die door elkaar heen lopen en soms verwarrend overkomen…
Meerdere moordenaars, afwisselende locaties en personages van allerlei pluimage, ook daarin komt het verhaal nogal chaotisch over…

Ik heb veel gehoord over de schrijfstijl van Vandenberg. Dat maakte dat ik heel nieuwsgierig werd. Het waren vooral lovende woorden die maken dat je met te veel verwachtingen aan een boek begint.
Dat was hier dus ook zo. Het maakte dat ik me teleurgesteld voelde en dat ik niet begreep waarom er lezers waren die zo lovend zijn over Vandenberg.
Het verhaal was niet heel slecht, maar het was vermoeiend. Het verhaal trok me niet mee en hield me niet vast. Met gemak kon ik het boek wegleggen. Persoonlijk vond ik de schrijfstijl niet prettig.
Wat wel goed geschreven was, waren de onderbouwingen waarom bepaalde instanties iets deden. Dat zat wel dusdanig goed in elkaar dat het je wel bezig zou kunnen houden.
Alleen daarom krijgt het boek van mij 3 sterren.

Gregor Gropius is chirurg gespecialiseerd in transplantaties. Nadat een van zijn patienten na een levertransplantatie onverwacht overlijdt, wordt een onderzoek ingesteld. Blijkbaar is de lever vergiftigd. Gropius wordt op non-actief gesteld. Hij wil zelf zijn naam zuiveren en begint een eigen onderzoek, niet zonder gevaar voor eigen leven. Er vallen nog enkele doden, er is een geheime organisatie die zich IND noemt, er zijn een paar mooie vrouwen die naar zijn gunsten dingen, er is nog iets met een archeologische opgraving en een link naar Turijn.
Allemaal te veel toevalligheden en voor mij niet geloofwaardig dat deze arts dit allemaal tot een goed einde kan brengen.

Eine Geschicht, die sich flott lesen lässt. Leider kommt man nicht darum herum zu denken: "Das kenne ich doch schon". Es sieht so aus, als wären viele Ideen von anderen Autoren geklaut. Leider kommt das Golgatha-Geheimnis aus der Titel erst ganz zum Schluß. Da hätte Vandenberg mehr aus machen können.,

Un libro bastante irregular, con momentos de emoción, pero que en su mayoría es aburrido. Con un final resultón, que resulta anti climático. Bien escrito y aunque bien documentado toda la parte histórica se pierde por seguir a uno mafiosos rusos que al final niña aparecen y no tenía ni relevancia en la historia.
