Seaton Zircon, formerly a powerful sea dragon who once kept the oceans in balance, has just awakened along with his two dragon siblings. Now they’re trapped on a beach with no way to take their true form, no knowledge of the modern world, and no way to get in touch with others of their kind. Just when they’re ready to lose hope, a kindhearted human woman offers to take them in. The only problem? Seaton’s sure he has just found his mate.

Jenny Reed runs a small restaurant frequented by beachside visitors and, with a few exceptions, life is simple and quiet. That is, until a towering, sexy, shirtless man walks in, asking for help and looking like he’s just survived a shipwreck. Not one to abandon someone in need, Jenny takes the man and his seemingly-lost siblings home. But what she gets from Seaton is a lot more than she’s bargained for.

Despite his quirks, Seaton’s protective, kind, and the most beautiful thing on two legs. And he makes it very clear he wants Jenny. Badly. But as romance sparks, Seaton must still solve the mystery of why he was awakened. Meanwhile, it won’t be long before someone catches wind of the arrival of the three sea dragons, and not all dragons are friends.

Warning: contains a smoking hot dragon who likes to do sexy things in (and out) of the water to his curvy fated mate, intense scenes of action, mystery, and hilarious hijinks caused by a clueless dragon family.

Dragons, mates, Terry Bolryder has the formula down pat. An enjoyable addition to her Dragon series.

So much fun

I love all the dragon books by this author. But the ocean dragon is the best. The characters are great, and the story line exciting and fun. This is definitely one of my favorite writers.

Boring and didn't keep my attention... The story dragged on and on🙄 I don't really understand where the authors seeks to go and it's annoying. The characters are a bit lame, especially the brother and sister.
Just give up🤷🏻‍♀️

Solid Start

A new series is always harder to get into with some of them. Although I enjoyed Zircon, it didn't grab me like some of Bolryder's other stories. That said, I look forward to seeing what she has in store for Marina and Kai.

Love this writer but didn't even like this book

Sorry...This book was a miss for me. I found it to be lame from beginning to end. The characters and plot were beyond lame and cliche. This didn't even feel like this writer's work. Not one id recommend.

Seaton and his brother and sister are sea dragons who have newly awakened. They have no idea why they are awake or why they cannot take their dragon form. They are hoping to find the other dragons to explain things and give them help but meanwhile they are living on the beach. Seaton has been watching the owner of a restaurant near the beach. Jenny has installed showers for her customers to rinse off before entering her restaurant and Seaton and his family has been using them. Seaton is drawn to Jenny and realizes that she is his mate but he has no clue on how to approach her. Finally desperate for help, he enters the restaurant and is just in time to save Jenny from the advances of her business partner who won't take no for an answer.
Jenny is very attracted to Seaton but he appears to be homeless and a shipwreck survivor. When he explains that he and his family is living on the beach, Jenny is kind-hearted and brings them home with her. She also buys them clothes that mostly fit and offers them work in her restaurant. Jenny finds her guests very strange and not of this world. It appears they have never been in a car before and they claim to have amnesia. She doesn't want to push too hard so she lets them slide on telling their story. Seaton and his family are gorgeous enough to be models so Jenny is very confused when Seaton seems attracted to her. He claims that she is his and she wishes it was true. Seaton seems to have a magic touch.
This is a great spin-off series. I loved the sea dragons who seem to have awakened in a new world with no clue what is going on. Somehow they have to contact the other gem dragons to find out the truth. This is a sweet romance with a few twists. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

I was so very excited when I saw Terry Bolryder " awakened" a new batch of dragons! It started off well, then fell flat for me real quickly. Seaton and Jenny were well written, and a cute couple, but there was no passion for me, the drama was almost non existent and I just wanted so much more. I wanted to know what happen to Drew, and the other guys that was bothering Jenny. I wanted Drew more into the story, I wanted drama and excitement. I didn't get that, I got mild manner story of a dragon who found his mate, and his grumpy brother and overly friendly sister. This one wasn't one of my fave dragon stories. :(

Warning - even though you can read this as a standalone, there are some elements in this story that occur because of elements in previous books (specifically the rent-a-dragon and date-a-dragon series)

These dragons are actually siblings and the author has made them absolutely awesome. They act like siblings, complete with squabbles, competitiveness, and love. Seaton is our calm sea dragon and is the oldest and the least volatile of these new dragons. As we read at the end of Citrine, these new dragons have awoken but have no idea why and know nothing of the new world that they have awoken to and have no way to contact the gem/land dragons or the Oracle. As they learn to adapt with the help of Jenny, their kindhearted rescuer, the untimely arrival of the expected visitor adds a touch more tension to their situation (I can't wait to see where that thread is going to lead us).

I enjoyed this new dragon and his family. I love that my favorite dragon, once again, gets an appearance - but he has such an awesome power that the Oracle really needs his presence during touchy situations. I believe Kai just may change who my favorite dragon is, as the unpredictable stormy seas dragon seems to be one heck of a grumpy dragon.

For the most enjoyable experience (and to know exactly who all the characters are), I would recommend starting with the Gem dragons then reading the Rent-a-dragons and then the date-a-dragons before reading these sea dragons) - I love loved them all.

The author gifted me with an advance copy and I voluntarily reviewed this book. (I have also bought and borrowed many of this author's works and they have all been entertaining reads)

Zircon, the first of the Awakened Sea Dragons, starts the series off on a slowly building burn. I’ve become accustomed to the in your face dragons of the previous connecting series so that these quieter, more… calmer, sea dragons were a bit of a change. Doesn’t mean they weren’t upset or confused as to why they’d been awakened with some of their powers but not able to take their dragon forms. Living on the beach, trying to learn what’s happening to them and how to exist in this time period are their main concerns. Until one small human female offers them a temporary home, care and without knowing it has brought Seaton’s mate right to his side.

Marina and Kai, Seaton’s sister and brother are entertaining in their different ways. Kai is full of the angry storm, the most troubled by their situation. Marina is … amused with watchful eyes. I did enjoy Seaton and Jenny’s romance. It has slight drama and a few eventual twists and turns. I’ll be interested in seeing the mates Marina and Kai find, and the additional danger that has arisen.

I actually think it’s a good thing to kick we readers out of our rut of thinking we know what’s coming next in long running connecting series. I really didn’t see this pace coming, and I’m having to adjust to a diffident flow of the story. Nothing wrong with that, just a bit of an mindset adjustment.

I enjoyed Zircon and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how these lives play out for us. If you’ve followed the other dragon series, then you’ll enjoy this one as well.

I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.

Good!

Three sibling sea dragons awaken and are without the ability to shift. The humans who encounter them are frightened and offended (cause they are naked you know) and keep calling the police. It's a good thing they can cloak themselves still! The beginning of this story where Seaton, Marina, and Kai first come to land after a few centuries of sleep is both sad and amusing. They are forced to find discarded clothing to wear that doesn't fit large sea dragons properly. They find an outside bathroom and shower facility near a restaurant by the beach and are able to keep somewhat clean. For the first time in their lives they feel weak and helpless. They need to reach the Oracle but have no idea how. Seaton is the eldest and had been cloaking and watching people in the restaurant, especially the owner Jenny. He is fascinated by her, but sort of hates to actually meet her while so confused and looking like a drowned sailor. Jenny meets Seaton and turns out to be so caring and compassionate. She's not sure why, but when meeting his siblings she feels compelled to help them. This story was romantic and full of passion, but I feel the biggest story to me was how giving and understanding and trusting Jenny was. Also I loved how feeling humility and weakness seemed to spark something more gentle and giving in the dragons as well. It's a good book and we are introduced to some new characters and given a glimpse at old favorites from the previous books.

Seaton and Jenny

All three sea dragon siblings are living on the beach after being awoken. They don't know why they are there or where the other dragons are. After living as homeless people for a week with the police being called on them. The decided Seaton should go to the small restaurant/bar that was a little ways away. Seaton is the oldest and leader of the group. He had been cloaking himself and spying on the owner.
Jenny moved from Texas to the beach to open her dream bar. She got a loan from a guy named Drew who seemed nice to start with. After a year he still hasn't got the hint that she doesn't want him. She has tried to buy out his part in the business but he won't sell.
Seaton walks into the bar and sees Drew grab her by the wrist. Seaton tells him to let go and leave. After he does, Jenny feels grateful for his help and decides to help Seaton and his siblings.
There is some action going on with Drew and sibling rivalry. We see some of the gem dragons show up later on in the book along with a new dragon called Lead who is looking for Mercury. Interesting times ahead. This author is amazing.

3.5 stars!

Nice start to the next installment of Terry's dragon saga. Seaton and his sea dragon siblings are awakened from the sea. Staying hidden from sight as much as possible and living on the beach, they are trying to figure out why they were awakened and how to contact others of their kind.

Spending time watching the happenings outside of the local small beach restaurant/bar, Seaton is taken by Jenny, the woman who owns it. Being forced to show himself and acknowledge that he and his siblings are homeless, Jenny offers to help them. She gives them lodging, clothes, and a job at her restaurant, and finds that she is greatly enjoying the time she spends with them, especially Seaton.

Seaton feels an immediate connection to Jenny, and realizes she is his mate. Juggling his emotions to be with her, and still search for answers and other dragons, he is torn as his responsibilities close in on him.

We visit with the gem dragons and meet a new metal dragon. I can't wait for the next adventure for these sea dragons!

Sea dragons? Oh, yeah! The imagination of the author never fails to provide a great read and wonderful love story. This new series starts out with the Seaton and his siblings awake as humans with most of their powers curbed. A surprise in this group as well.
Being displaced and no longer needed to protect all left Seaton feeling displaced as well. He still had his family to care for but felt unable in this new world with different humans and the world around him. The fact he couldn't stay in the ocean saddened him. Then, his stalkerish watching Jenny bothered him but didn't stop him. At least when she took them in with jobs he could watch her freely.

Could they fit into this world? Why were they awakened if they weren't needed? Could Jenny feel what he did and want more? IF they were needed, what was coming?

An interesting new set of dragons to love and discover. One step closer to the ultimate battle. Right?

Beauty from the Ocean

Strength, innocence and clarity. Seaton, Marina and Kai Zircon have awakened from their centuries long deep sea hibernation. As Sea Dragon shifters they expect they've been brought back for a purpose, to save the world, humans, even other dragons. Instead they find themselves alone & in the modern world, totally adrift from their expectations. While hiding from this new world they find Jenny. She's a bar owner on the beach on which they've taken refuge. An independent woman, facing typical male challenges, she's swept up in the trio of tall, handsome and naive siblings. Nothing is better than the scenes where the siblings grapple with the electronic devices of their new existence. Seaton is immediately drawn to Jenny and she to him. He is a wonderful protector and terrific lover. She realizes just how alone she really has been. This is a glorious start to another terrific Bolryder series.. Excited for the next book.

Great Start

Seaton and Jenny's Story was a really good start to the awake and see Dragon series . Jenny is a co-owner of a beachside restaurant and her partner is a real pain . When she comes across three homeless beauties she is very inclined to help . There are two of them that look like golden Greek gods and the female looks like a goddess . They are strange but she feels they would never hurt her .

Seton is a awake and see Dragon he nor his siblings know why they been awakened and stranded on land without their dragon forms. There is one consolation they do still have some other powers in human form . They're living on the beach for now and he has discovered the beautiful woman from the restaurant is his mate . He never thought to find his mate fate has deemed otherwise .

This story was very entertaining and I think it's a great start for book one and this new series . I loved all the previous gemstones dragons and I think I'm gonna love these as well .

Seaton and his two siblings, Kai and Marina, are newly awakened sea dragons who have been washed to shore and cannot access their dragon form. In a new world they don't understand and unable to contact other dragons for help, the siblings take to living on the beach and observing the humans trying to decide who to ask for help. Seaton chooses to approach Jenny, the owner of a small bar, a woman he is drawn to and quickly realizes she is his mate.
Jenny is very generous and caring, she takes the homeless supermodel (they're sooo good looking) siblings back to her house and hires them in at her bar until they can get back on their feet. There is something strange about them, dangerous yet innocent and Jenny can't help but be drawn to Seaton. I love all the dragon books in this connected universe but this one is my favorite so far!! I can't wait to read Kai and Marina's stories!!!!

At the end of "Citrine", we were briefly introduced to the sea dragons as they came ashore. This story picks up after the three-Seaton, Marina and Kai- have been on shore for a few days. Not knowing why they have been awakened or how to find other dragons they try to find help. Jenny owns a bar on the beach. When Seaton saves her from a sticky situation, Jenny returns the favor by helping him and his siblings. I love Ms. Bolryder's dragons and the sea dragons are no exception. Seaton and Jenny were a great couple. The reaction of the three sea dragon's when Aegis showed up was a testament to his reputation. Ready for the next installment..

This is the first book in the Awakened Sea Dragons series. We were first introduced briefly to the sea dragons. Seaton Zircon and his siblings Marina and Kai are sea dragons washed up on the beach with no idea where they are. They live on the beach wearing lost clothes. Seaton is drawn to Jenny, who runs a bar and restaurant. He saves her from unwanted advances and the dragons situation improves. How will they find the other dragons? Were they awakened because of war? Will Kai being the storm dragon be able to attract attention of the other dragons? Who is Lead and why does he think they have Mercury?
I give this story 5 stars. "I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy without pressure to do so".

Sea Dragons Rebirth

This is about the oldest sibling of 3 sea dragons. Seaton and his brother Kai and sister Marina have found themselves on a shore wondering what happened. On that beach is a small bar/eatery owned by Jenny, a human. Seaton identifies Jenny as his mate, and so the story begins. Kia is always brooding and causing it to storm, hence his power. Marina is happy and makes life fun. The trials and happenings begin from here and you will love their learning with their learning and some small failures. I really enjoyed reading about the sea dragons and found the storyline refreshing and amusing. Will recommend this to all my friends and will add it to my much loved Terry Bolryder books.

Great start to sea dragons, continuing other dragon series

This starts pretty much after Citrine's story ended. I liked that these 3 sea dragons awoke without the Oracle. They had to figure things out on their own. Seaton is a great character. He is normally strong, but confused by all the changes and worried as well. He is the older brother and it shows. Jenny is nice, too. But Season just seemed to shine more to me.

There was a little action, some steamy scenes, great characters new and returning and a few twists. I enjoyed this a lot and will anxiously wait for the next one. Try it, but read the series in order: Double Dragons, Tiger Protectors, Awakened Dragons Gem, Rent-a-Dragon, Date-a-Dragon and finally this one. Enjoy!

This is the first book in a series that is pretty much a spin-off from Bolryder's other dragon shifter series. Each series follows a team of dragons that are tied together by a certain trait, and in this case they are sea dragons who also happen to be siblings. This results in the heroine having to deal with the hero and his brother and sister, which is a nice change. There was also a little bit more of the dragons having to learn the new world than in the previous books, which I always enjoy.

Other than that, however, this book follows the author's usual formula, which is neither good nor bad. I keep coming back to Bolryder's dragons because I know what to expect, but if I read too many of them back to back, I find myself skimming the sex scenes and the fight scenes.

Yassssssss!!! Terry Bolryder has struck again!!!!

What can I say.. I am over the moon in love with this author and the dragons that I have been introduced to. This is the newest series to come from Ms. Bolryder and she did not disappoint. I love that we are now finding our sea dragons and that they will soon be mated and working for the greater good. Seaton and his siblings come from the ocean and to their dismay in a world they know nothing about. But when kindhearted Jenny is rescued by Seaton , she knows that she has to help them. Love finds a way and with the sea dragons it will be a wild ride to say the least. Keep them coming Ms. Bolryder keep them coming.

Good book

Another good read in the dragons genre, this is about newly awakened sea dragons two brothers and a sister. They awake and end up on a beach not knowing where they are or why, they are taken in by Jenny who owns a beach bar and she and the oldest brother Seaton are immediately attracted to each other. She is his mate and they quickly fall in love, eventually other dragons find them and Jenny discovers their true identity but still wants Season and becomes his mate he then regains all his powers. It is an enjoyable shifter romance but not quite as good as some of the other dragon books by Terry Bolryder.

I love dragons so when there is a book about a dragon that is never a dragon then it’s a huge disappointment. There is no build up to the characters, no background of the dragon lore, no evolution of a relationship, nothing to catch onto or get invested in. I only finished because I was hoping at some point we would learn more about the sea dragons. But no. I guess spoiler? By the end I realized that I had read a couple of the gem dragon books and they weren’t that memorable either. This world could be interesting if it built a back story and character development. Right now it is only, “I’m a dragon and we are mates” “ok, cool that sounds legit. Then I guess I love you”

The Adventure Of The Calm Sea Dragon On The Beach

Seaton Zircon, the Calm Sea Dragon, has awakened with his sister and brother from a centuries old cryo-sleep. Read this fun and warm story about them learning to adapt to the modern world while Seaton is wooing his fated human mate. Together they learn to trust and love each other and let themselves dream of a lovely future.
We also see fascinating demonstrations of the sea dragons' powers in combat. They truly can be valuable allies or formidable enemies.
Also the main storyline progresses with old and new acquaintances appearing.
