This was my first book by this author and absolutely will not be last. I found myself captured by the characters and the opening of the story. I love Whitney's soul searching journey and how she met Connor hiking and soul searching in Spain. They left it with no contact after this initial meeting and happenstance has them meeting up again almost a year later. The feels and chemistry are all still there and trying to figure out what Connor has been wandering for and looking for.

I really did enjoy this book and found the characters so easy to relate to and longing for my own soul searching journey.

This is the first book in the series and is Connor and Whitney's story these two meet in Spain they have tons of chemistry and have a hot fling never expecting to see each other again, of course, they meet again and the chemistry is still there will this just be a second fling or something more. A really great start to the series I am looking forward to the next book

As the titel says this is a very beautiful and well written story. It captivated me from start to finish. The story is very realistic and the characters likeable. It is written in dual POV which gives the reader more of the feelings and thoughts of the main characters.

I read this book easily in a few hours over two days, and enjoyed it.

The Pros & Cons
The background of the pilgrimage provided a nice context for the reader to imagine, as did the description of the luxury hotel. The steamy moments were not overdone, and had the right level of heat that I actually read through them rather than skipping through as I often do (I'm not a prude -- I just think some writers WAY overdo it for no reason at all, and what's meant to be sexy just turns out to be repetitive).

The characters were believable and (THANK GOD) both mature, and their connection felt genuine and deep. I appreciated that there was no stupidness keeping them apart -- just the direction life sometimes takes. The sibling interaction was also great, and I have no doubt that all the other books in this series will also be rich with these family relationships.

The only reason I docked a star was that the the storyline's overall conflict seemed too simple. Like, all along I thought something would HAPPEN... there was a build-up. But no real "action" or "event" led to the eventual resolution, so the ending felt rushed.

Conclusion
Nevertheless, overall the writing style is strong, the pacing is nicely done, and it was a good weekend read. I look forward to more by this author.

Connor Rivers has wanderlust to the extreme, and can't make himself stay in any one place for any length of time. And this is how he came to meet Whitney, who was on the Camino pilgrimage in Spain, and they shared a chemistry that didn't take long to ignite. It brought on some super sexy times that lit sheets on fire no matter where they landed as they traveled on their pilgrimage, but they also shared a connection that was deep, however that connection was going to be severed when Whitney had to return home, because she wasn't going to force Connor to change. Fast forward several months, fate steps in, and they meet again, as Connor suffered something that brought him back home, and Whitney came face to face with him when she ended up at the same place he was for a meeting. This time will they be able to make it work? Yeah, this story was great, although, Connor made me want to pull me hair out, because he definitely didn't want to do anything but what he wanted to do which was a bit off putting for me for a cool minute. That doesn't mean that I didn't love him, but you know, he had some issues that he needed to fix of course, because Whitney was amazing. Jordyn White is a new to me author, and I found her writing to be very addictive, and I love these flawed Rivers so much, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this story to ALL!

Wow! Brilliant!

Beautiful Mine by J.L. White just sucked me in from the beginning and I was hooked! It is such a passionate, hot, and sexy book about Connor Rivers and Whitney Spencer who walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain. They meet towards the end of her pilgrimage and continue to bump into each other on the trail. Acknowledging that fate is telling them something, they accept and indulge in their desire for one another. Even though their time together is short, it was hard for both to say goodbye. Then, roughly eleven months later, fate brings them together again…. And sparks fly.

I just adore this book! The story line is very realistic as well as the characters. I can absolutely see this novel being made into a movie! It was that good!

What's so beautiful about this book? Just the settings, the dialogue, the plot, the writing, the flawless editing and proofreading, and (oh yes!) those beautiful, sexy Rivers brothers!

Beautiful Mine is an unusual combination in a romance novel: a super sweet love story deliciously wrapped in hot layers of steamy sex. Many romance writers shy away from combining the two, but Jordyn White pulls it off perfectly. I'm so glad I discovered Book 1 in the Beautiful Rivers series and will definitely be reading the rest. (Can't wait for Rayce's story!)

No plot summary from me this time, because nothing should spoil your enjoyment of this story. Just dive right in and join Whitney and Connor on their delightful journey from Spain (where they definitely fall in lust) to California (where they finally fall in love). Highly recommended.

She just barely manages to keep herself from falling in love with him, and tries to move on with her life. But, when they meet again by chance (by fate?) a year later at his family's resort in California, will Whitney be able to keep her heart intact this time? Will she be able to manage a relationship with a man who has a wanderer's heart?

I thought Beautiful Mine was a fabulous journey. It's both heartfelt and emotional and the two have serious chemistry. I loved Whitney's big heart, Connor's sweet soul, and all of Connor's siblings. Can't wait for more of this series.

After several ruins they givin to the chemistry and fate for a very passionate but short affair. 11 months later Connor is faced with tragedy in his family and goes back to Cal. Whitney is having lunch at his family's resort and fate has them running into each other again. Can Whitney convince Connor to give up his restless ways or will she again bite her tongue and let it be. Such a fabulously romantic, erotic, heartwarming, hilarious story.

This is my first Jordyn White book and I thought it was awesome. It took me long to read because I savored each chapter and I learned something new about the Camino Way and I absolutely love Spain! Thank you for this experience Ms. White. I loved how strong and tightly knit the siblings are. They each have their own characters that just complement each other, Whitney is a good addition to this family and I am excited to see how the love would grow as I read the rest of the series. I like the style of writing and though there were many intimate scenes they did not appear cheap -- it was damn hot.

This is the first book by this author that I've read and the first book in this series. This is a passionate, hot and steamy read. This a second chance love story. This book has amazing characters which you fall in love with as you read. A fantastic start to the series. This book will keep you hooked till the last page. I can't wait to read in this series and by this author in the future.

I'd never heard of this author before, but I was glad I stumbled upon her and this book! I enjoyed it from start to finish. I liked how the author painted vivid pictures of the Camino pilgrimage in Spain and showcased how Conner and Whitney met and fell in love. I appreciated how mature these characters were and for the most part, how much honesty there was in their relationship. The conflict wasn't contrived and was without full blown angst. I'm very interested in reading the other novels in this series!

Riveting! An amazing second chance romance that is emotionally deep and beautifully written Amazing plot that is well written and the characters are well developed. From the first page I hooked until the very last page! It flows smoothly, moves at a brisk pace, is relatable, a realistic, and witty. The story ended beautifully and I recommend it strongly.

How perfect

Searching searching two souls not lost just searching. But what for they don’t know. They think it’s just who they are until they cross paths not once but twice and they finally realize they aren’t lost souls they have just been searching for the other half of their soul. Connor and Whitney are each other’s other half and finally anchor each other. This was a beautifully written souls searching story that brought the heart to the surface and I loved every word.

3.5 stars. Cute story, but I never really felt like I connected with the characters. It was refreshing that the conflict wasn't typical, but then again, the conflict was pretty much non-existent and solved pretty easily. While a tragedy befalls the hero, this book is definitely a feel good book through and through.

Amazing story!

This was truly such an amazing story. The characters were well developed, perfect depth to the story and the best travel stories!! The description of the places Connor had been was astounding. The experience at the Botafeoro was beautifully written! Of course Connor sounds like a great catch and glad that Whitney was on vacation at the same location as Connor.

This story was amazing to read! All the adventure and tragedy along with some really steamy parts was amazingly well written. I for one don't know how Connor feels but I can somewhat feel what Whitney was feeling, specially wanting to be the reason someone would want to stay because THEY wanted to on their own. It was just so beautiful.
