The end of war seems within grasp but terrorists threaten to undermine invasion plans. Orion’s Light has been a thorn in the side of the government for some time but intelligence director Siva Wih’Faren has taken it upon herself to finish them off once and for all. She engages The Behemoth and The Crystal Font to launch a daring plan, an attack on the criminal fleet and their secret base.
As they prepare for conflict, special agent Trellan En’Dal infiltrates the Orion’s Light to assassinate their leader, the nefarious Krilan Ar’Vax. As he ingratiates himself to the wicked leader, the Alliance attacks, putting him in a dangerous bind which may lead to him having to make a choice: complete his assignment or escape alive.

I really enjoyed the series, can’t wait for the next one.
I enjoyed this book very much, I really enjoyed the series because I read all nine of them so far. The characters are not very developed but sometimes you don’t want to know all the characters angst and problems, The book gives you just enough development in the characters to get by. That’s no problem for me so bring on the next book. If you’re interested in deep character development then this book is not for you, but if you want action adventure space and marine battles I heartily recommend it.
This book is okay, can't decide whether to give it a 3.5/5 or 4/5.
There were even a few scenes that I felt were extremely well written and you could almost feel the emotion. Which surprised me, As there hasn't really been much of that with this series.
The space battles were decently spaced, and described. However, I never felt like our heros were in any real danger.
There are still spelling and grammatical errors in this book.
Overall the book and the series itself is mediocre, I don't regret reading it so far, but the slight repetitiveness is tiring and stale.
Yet another book ruined when a climatic battle is ignored in favor of saving a few lives. "Yes, lets risk letting the mass murdering slaving colony destroying terrorists with advanced technology escape to do it again so we can try a nearly impossible million to one shot to save one person at the expense of dozens of others." Ordered, of course, by the REMFs (FOBbits?) whose lives are not at risk, and carried out with lemming like fanaticism by the local equivalent of red shirts.
Solid Sci-Fi book, like the others before this one!
This book is even more filled with space war action! Capital ships, bombers, fighters and planet side marine action! This book has them all. Against an entrenched enemy, who will come home? To find out, read this great Sci-Fi story!
A great adventure in the Behemoth, the battle against the Orion Light needs to be finished. With the Crystal Font they are sent to destroy them once and for all. But can they do this and save the life of their agent?
The conclusion of one series plot line secures the alliance, on a personal level for the crew of humanity's first and foremost warship. Good combat scenes, plots and plans evolving all the while. An enjoyable addition to the series.
Well paced action, with twists of plot for the most important character. The lack of development for other characters was disappointing but understandable given their prior development in previous books.
Ok good story but you can't building an enemy up to be a well trained organization in the previous books then tear it down to carp in the final battle. That said it was still a good read.
The war goes on but victory is on the horizon. A courageous story of valor and patriotism. Trellan En'dal will finally make it home and the Behemoth and Crystal don't return from their mission victorious and ready for the End Game.
I love this series, the characters come to life in my mind you feek there happiness and their pain great author hope this sereis continues even after book 10
