"I cried the night I realized it lived inside me. The parasite hid itself well." My name is Cole Creek, and I start my tale with those words. I live in a world ravaged by death, decay, and a world long past the time of machines. A dying world. I left my village after the appearance of an Outrider. I'd never met one of their clan, but I'd heard stories of the sickness they spread. I left home in search of a cure. My journey cost me friends, my sanity...almost my life. But I found it. I found truth, and this is my story. Cole Creek
I'm a storyteller working at the crossroads of psychological horror, Southern Gothic, and dark folklore, where every story begins on the page and sometimes escapes into sound. My fiction explores obsession, guilt, rumor, and the quiet violence people do to one another — often set in small towns where secrets rot slowly and everyone swears they’re innocent. My short stories and poems lean into choice vs. consequence, moral collapse, and the thin line between the spiritual world on this one. Under the name Wordslinger, those same stories (and more) are reimagined as music. Each track is a narrative — a short story set to brooding hip-hop, hard rock, or eerie atmospheric beats. The writing, structure, and direction are mine; the voices — human or synthetic are part of the cast.
