There's a sucker born every day. Take Murray. Desperate to meet the love of his life, he orders a mail order bride on the web. Murray doesn't think it's strange that his bride arrives in a heart shaped box. Why wouldn't she need to be assembled? Bags of meat, innards and fluids don't hinder Murray's enthusiasm. He builds her in the bathtub. Too bad he doesn't have a clue about anatomy. But suddenly .... here's Roxy, and she is MORE THAN A WOMAN! Murray loves disco, and the author thoughtfully titled each chapter after a Saturday Night Fever song. Now Murray has a party girl to play with, and every night it's NIGHT FEVER, NIGHT FEVER, you know how to show it! Disco dancing? Yes, please! Cupcakes and whit zin? All the time! Dead embryos? Oops. Murray should have used giblets, or at least brushed up on his anatomy lessons.

This book is crazy fun from the beginning to the end. Christopher Lesko has a way of writing that reels me in from the first word and keeps me entertained until the very end. Read this book. Dude, there's a real live DISCO INFERNO! Dance!

A cool book with lots of disco and parties. It starts off as a weird little tale that seems based in reality and then slips into a surreal dream-like state in the last quarter. I dig Lesko's writing style. Approachable, void of pretentiousness, and yet still intelligent. Highly recommended.
