Novella geared towards young adult. Second in this world by this author.
Entertaining and the lighter side but lessons too. Bellamy is sweet and nice. Everyone loves her. But she has her internal doubts just like will at some point. Bottom line these students are friends and support each other regardless of the conflicts. Having that kind of support is invaluable. Great writing with positive messages.

I love this book! It's a sweet book that makes you feel warm and fuzzy - at least it did for me. I thought the author did a great job with this story and bringing the characters to life. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This was the first Nocturne Falls story I've read and I truly loved it. It was so cool. It was quirky and different but also familiar and the characters just grabbed hold of me and melted my heart from the very beginning. My favorite line was: "Hearts don't have to touch to fall in love." The storyline was fun and I found it a very entertaining read, which if I'm being honest, is what I find myself really looking for these days. I think you'd love this if you're a fan of sweet romantic stories with magic and adventure and snow globes and fairies and goblins, and heart.

This is one of the cutest, sweetest and warmest books in the Nocturne Falls Universe. The book follows The Truth About Cats and Wolves, the first book by this author and one of the best books in the Nocturne Falls Universe, and it starts in equally captivating way. We even see Kai, Finn and Owen shortly, but this book is not about them.
This book is about Bellamy, a fairy, and Tinker, a goblin, who go together to Harmswood Academy in Nocturne Falls and have been in love with each other since the first moment they met in school. They have many obstacles to overcome, and it is amazing to follow the story which features so much love, friendship, dedication and determination.
The story happens mostly in Hallowed Bean, the coffee shop, Harmswood Academy and the Goblin City, and it is interesting how the author gives us detailed description of the places and adds to the existing world. She set a really nice premise full of possibilities for future stories.
Tinker's friends Hubble, Sam and Natalie are the best friends anyone could ask for, loyal, caring, helpful and supportive. Sam and Natalie are characters from a short story created several years ago The Were Four. It is an incredibly adorable and comical short story. It features four boys who have their own band and play not so nice music. Peter, Romeo, Quinn, Sam, four lame shapeshifters (platypus, mosquito, piranha, sloth), and Natalie, Sam's sister are the featured characters. There are no other characters in the story, and they are not necessary. I always get amazed when a storyteller is capable of telling a full complete story in so few pages.
The reason I read this story was to learn more about Sam and Natalie, and although this story dates several years prior to the creation of Nocturne Falls, they fit perfectly. I wish, however, that the author finds a way to include Peter, Quinn and Romeo in future NFU stories. I would like to read more about the whole group.
All of the characters are well developed and the world is beautifully mapped out. The author's writing is superb and I'm hoping for more of these books. I like her take on Nocturne Falls very much, especially because she focuses on the Harmswood Academy in such a way that she extends Nocturne Falls from within.
Nocturne Falls universe contains 16 books at the moment with eight new books coming now. Original Nocturne Falls series contains eight books and four short stories, as well as three books of the Jayne Frost spin off series. All of the series are great entertaining light read and I highly recommend them.

So goblins are massively allergic to fairies...who knew? Definitely a problem when a fairy and a goblin are in love with one another. I didn't see how this could possibly work work out. So good; I really liked this story!

This was such a delightful read. I especially liked the Goblin King's throne and crown. How they were made out of both worthless and precious metals lol. Goblins bring a whole new meaning to "hoarding". I loved Bellamy and Tinker both. I can't wait to see what this author writes next in the NFU.

Bell is a fairy half in love with her best friend, a troll by the name of Tinker. Except that Trolls are allergic to fairies and their dust, deathly allergic. With the spring dance coming up Tinker, also in love with Bell, even if neither will admit it, wants to ask Bell to the dance.
The second YA in the Nocturne Falls Universe, and I honestly enjoyed every word. There is still the teenage angst in these stories but its not overdone and not any more than I think you find in some New Adult books. Bell and Tinkers story is a whirlwind of change and acceptance and learning that friends aren't just those people you talk to everyday. They have adventure, a little rule breaking, a little romance. It was beautiful. I actually wasn't sure this was a YA at first reading it, it is so well written that I was a good chunk into the book before I realised these were teenagers and not college students.

Sam plus Hubble the Dungeon Master and kobold...Indeed I think it would be great If Alethea gave one or more of these characters got their own book someday soon!

This book was so adorably cute! Star-crossed lovers, destined to not ever being able to touch with geeky friends you just have to love (who could not love a were-sloth?!), a magical, funny whirlwind of a story and so many laughs along the way but very deep and emotional too. I literally broke down crying at one scene (don't want to spoiler, so I won't say where. But there are lots of pupils involved and it's after the ball), my heart was so full. A glittery, sugar-sweet, fae-kissed fairy tale full of rainbows and fairy dust, hope and sunshine that warmed my heart and made my day so much brighter. I needed this, thank you.

A super cute tale about two people who should remain on opposite ends of the universe never meeting. Friends for an eternity, Tinker and Belle (Bellamy) slowly grew to love each other. The fact that he's allergic to her doesn't matter in their friendship, but for a relationship, it's a real killer. I loved getting to see Aletha's second venture into Nocturne Falls and the younger generation who inhabit the town. She rounds out the town nicely giving the younger citizens a voice. The story was everything one could expect and perfect for younger readers as well as adults.

4.5 stars. Cute story, well written. I enjoyed the characters and the adventure. I wish it was longer but at the same time acknowledge that it was really perfect as it was. The teen angst was at a minimum which made it easier for me to connect with the characters.

Great book! Love the nod to Jude Deveraux with the hero's name. Exciting, action packed, with plenty of romance, mystery and just a little teen angst as well. And lastly that the whole setting is in my favorite fictional place, Nocturne Falls. Enjoy!

I really enjoyed this story. This is a story about Bellamy and Tinker, we met Bellamy earlier in the story the Truth about Cats and Wolves. It was nice to see her again. Bellamy who is ever cheerful and optimistic fairy is crazy about her BFF Tinker who is a goblin, who is allergic to all things fairy but just as crazy about her. I love the band of colorful characters, and love the idea of a sloth shifter! This is a fun YA read and hope she continues giving us a peak into the teenage world of Nocturne Falls.

I have to admit that this was the book I loved most from all NFU books. The story was wonderfully written, the characters were loveable, and the relationship was something we all could relate to. It was just so sweet of a story. Oh, and I always Tinker Bell story. She’s one of my favourite fairy tale characters, ever.
Simply put, a great and extremely enjoyable book.

Really great love story!! well written and fast to read this one is about Bellamy who is a Fairy and Ranulf who is a Goblin. True love will overcome most obstacles and this book shows that in the best of ways. Very good fit with the Nocturne Falls Universe Series.

Omg loved it as always Alethea has written an awesome story packed with adventure fun, hilarity and young love absolutely loved this YA book very much.
As always I will not give spoilers I can however tell you it's truly beautifull hilarious and heartwarming all rolled in to one along with adventure a true fantastic story all can adore. After all what is more magical than love.

It had me at the clever title, but kept me with the absolutely darling romance between a goblin and a fairy! Seriously - this is about the cutest YA love story I've read in awhile. Given the dense, dramatic stuff I tend to read this was a much needed palate cleaner, perfect "beach reading". Will be checking out the rest of the series!

Once again, Alethea Kontis' book is my favorite of the new Nocturne Falls universe books. Tinker and Belle are such great characters. While I am not generally a YA reader, I look forward to new NF stories by her. Great characters, adventure, angst and a HEA. What more can you ask for?

When Tinker Met Bell is the first story that I read in the Nocturne Falls series. Firstly, I love the whole concept of the series. It is a set of novels and novelettes set in the same universe but written by various authors with permission. I think this collaboration is a unique way to bring readers back to the same world while gaining new perspective and giving the original author, Kristin Painter, a bit of time for her other books while continuing to provide for her fans. This was a brave and ultimately rewarding choice for fans and authors alike! Now that I’ve given my two cents about the series, let’s get into the meat of the review: the book!
This story was a surprise and a nice twist from what you would expect in a book about “Tinker Bell”. Ranoulf Tinkerton, Tinker to his friends (and everyone else), is a goblin. Bellamy Merriweather Larousse, Bell to all her know her, is a fairy. Tinker and Bell have attended Harmswood Academy in Nocturne Falls for years, and have been friends since they first laid eyes on each other. The only caveat to their friendship is that Tinker is dangerously allergic Bell’s fairy dust, just like almost every other goblin. Suddenly, Tinker is named heir to the goblin throne and is whisked away. What follows is a fun adventure with friends (including my favorite were-creature ever!). The plot was cute and followed through until the end for a satisfying conclusion.
This is the kind of story I would pick up in elementary school and middle school. There was great emphasis on friendship, empathy and patience and this helped to deliver a light-hearted and delightful story! The characters were creative, positive, and multi-dimensional. I particularly loved the backstory and characterization for Sam and Natalie. Their story was imaginative and I might have to read more about it in Alethea Kontis’ short story “The Were Four: A Short Story”. Tinker and Bell’s story was sweet and demonstrative of the power of love and friendship to keep people together and fight through adversity. Not only was it a cute love story, but it found a way to mix in adventure and action as well! Boo yah!
The narration was really good. B. J. Harrison did a great job bringing these characters to life in the audio and keeping the narration consistent. The diverse group of characters were distinguishable and lovely to hear about. The audio played faultlessly.
This audiobook was wonderfully fleshed out and executed, and this is probably a big reason why I’m left unsatisfied. I want more! More background on the goblin king. More history of the goblin kingdom. Most of all, what the future holds for tinker and bell! The book ended on a great note, I just never wanted it to end!

The narration was really good. B. J. Harrison did a great job bringing these characters to life in the audio and keeping the narration consistent. The diverse group of characters were distinguishable and lovely to hear about. The audio played faultlessly.
This audiobook was wonderfully fleshed out and executed, and this is probably a big reason why I’m left unsatisfied. I want more! More background on the goblin king. More history of the goblin kingdom. Most of all, what the future holds for tinker and bell! The book ended on a great note, I just never wanted it to end!

This is a great book; this book was written by Alethea Kontis. This book is also part of the Nocturne Falls Kindle World which is written by Kristen Painter. I was so happy that these new books by new authors were asked to write a story in the town. Nocturne Falls is a town that celebrates Halloween every day of the year and also a place that paranormal’s can live and not have to hide what they really are. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
