Rate this book
God has given each of us the opportunity to speak and listen to all kinds of people everyday of our lives and your conversations can be seen as divine appointments to communicate the love of Jesus. Opportunities to encourage, reframe, support, guide, and even pray for those individuals the Lord brings across your path. This book shares 10 simple ways that Jesus teaches to communicate His love in your conversations. Welcoming others, asking questions, listening, being cheerful, encouraging, thanking, flowing with conflict, forgiving, praying, and sharing Jesus are conversation skills that each one of us needs to practice and improve. This book examines what Jesus taught and did as reported in the Gospels. And His instruction is radically different than that of the world. Learn what Jesus has to say to you about Your Ministry of Conversation and how you can share His love, one conversation at a time. Do you ever feel that you would like to share the love and salvation message of Jesus but just did not know how to approach another? Have your words become stuck in your throat and you have let opportunity slip by you, leaving your frustrated? I believe we all have, but take heart.
In this new book by author, Randy Fujishin, Your Ministry of Conversation, we are given some excellent tips to use that will help us communicate the love of the Lord to others.
Our author breaks his work down into 10 sections giving insight to us from each one on how we can touch another human being for the good. These sections are: Welcoming Others, Asking Questions of Others, Listening to Others, Being Cheerful to Others, Encouraging Others, Thanking Others, Flowing with Others, Forgiving Others, Praying for Others, and Sharing Jesus with Others.
Under each main category ,Mr. Fujishin, goes into detail on reaching individuals and gives some great points that I would have never thought of. Points that would be easy to implement into our conversations on a daily basis that will give us opportunity to expand into areas of ministry. Interesting!
I am very impressed with this book. I can see that the author has truly put much prayer and thought into the words that he is sharing with the reader. I sense that his motive for writing this book was definitely to help other Christians reach out to a hurting world, and he has done that well. I am proud to recommend this book and hope that others will partake of the wisdom that is found within its pages. One of our jobs, as Christians, is to touch others with the hope Jesus brings, this book will give you a heads-up and many ideas on helping you achieve that goal. Great job Mr. Fujishin.

Okay, so the book isn't really available yet, but since I know the author I got to preview the book. The book is easy to follow and digest with tools for actually putting the author's suggestions into practice. There is a section on listening to understand that I believe all leaders should read and put into practice. I highly recommend this book and not just because I know the author!
