I don’t like childish games, I’m way too old to be reading stupid books where heroine and hero play around with each other feelings. I don’t like jealousy games either. Hero used his “new” friend and her best friend to make the heroine jealous. It doesn’t matter that Khloe was a lesbian but her best friend wasn’t. And when Khloe’s friend put her hands in hero’s body and hero let her hands roamed while the heroine watched them making the heroine jealous that was when I knew there wasn’t anything to turn this book around. Then the heroine decides to give him a chance even though she just saw the OW’s hands all over the hero’s body at some point she thought Hero was going to have a threesome with the women. I thought how pathetic can she be?
Yes hero told the heroine that he wasn’t going home with them but that’s not the point. The point is don’t play games with someone feelings just because you want that person to admit that she has feelings for you. That’s stupid and childish. Be a man and tell the woman you want her and that you’ll wait for her until she’s ready and don’t play games with her and the OW because that OW was also interested in him.
Then the author decided to kill khloe.. khloe who was a good sister, a good friend. She died saving her little brother. I cried when her brother gave the eulogy.
Even though he played games in the beginning, he was devoted to the heroine. He didn’t want anyone else but his games ruined the book for me. The heroine was too weak for me, the only thing I liked about her was that she was experienced. We don’t get many of those.

I always love waking up to a CA Harms book on my kindle, I got so excited when I noticed this book was waiting for me and couldn't wait to jump right in and get to know Ben and Liz better.
After meeting this couple in the previous book I was excited for their story and couldn't wait to see how things panned out for them. Especially with the issues that Liz possessed.
Liz is Nicole's best friend so we have met her in Always Yours and while we get to know her a little we don't know all her quirks and the reasons behind her tough persona. In this book we learn all about her childhood and her reasons for being so prickly and picky when it comes to the opposite sex. Liz was a sassy, Independant woman and while she fought her attraction to Ben hard she didn't drag it out! When she finally gave Ben a chance we got to see a totally different side to her and it was one I really liked!
Ben has always been a character that I knew I wouldn't be able to help falling in love with, CA Harms always gives us men that steal our hearts as well as our panties! I loved his determination to win Liz over and the fact that he didn't give up when things got hard!! He never played games and to me that made him all the more appealing!
This couples journey was definitely a rollercoaster ride and there were times I wished I could jump off just to save myself some heartache. I laughed at karts but there were others where I was nearly inconsolable. I love reading a book by Crystal as she pulls out every emotion and makes me feel raw yet makes my heart happy!
We get to witness many friendships unfold in this book and also more heartache than I wanted, there were times I literally felt like someone reached into my chest and pulled out my heart, I cried that hard I could barely breath!
We also get to catch up with Nicole, Ryker and Tori and see more of their story unfold. This is a couple I have loved and I enjoyed getting another glimpse into their lives!
Well done CA on another amazing story, I am so super excited to see what you have in store for us next!

C.A. Harms is some kind of special in the romance world. I love reading her books and watching her love stories unfold. She's become a to favorite of mine here recently. Her stories are complicated but beautiful... Her characters are flawed but addicting. Her words captivating.
The Crazed Devotion series is sexy and sweet with all the feels in the best possible ways. Forever Devoted is the second standalone novel in this series and it was so so good. I'd been on pins and needles for this book ever since reading Always His and finally....it's here! Liz and Ben are telling their story and what a journey these two took me on.
Liz...smart, loyal, fierce, strong, sassy, independent.
Ben...alpha, determined, sincere, honest, kind, sweet.
He's determined to make her take a risk...on him.
When these two finally gave in, it was epic and explosive. Ben and Liz heated up my kindle and had my heart about to beat out of my chest at times. Their chemistry was undeniable and electric... their banter was so much fun. I loved every moment and every emotion these two gave me... because it was so worth it.
If you haven't met C.A. Harms then you are missing out.
I highly recommend this book.

C A Harms has outdone herself again. This book was an emotional roller coaster. First it's funny and witty with the exceptional sass and wit that Liz throws towards Ben. Then it's maddening cause of what Liz has gone through in her life. Then it's sad when ....( I won't give it away) then it's heart wrenchingly sad when (again I can't give it away).... then it's just shear utter bliss...then it's anger cause I want more if this story !!!!
Ben saw something about his future when he and Liz shared an amazing night at a hotel years ago. Then when he chose not to reenlist in the Marines and go for it. He moved to be closer to Liz so he could pursue her.. but he never expected his life to turn out the way it did.
I cannot wait till the next chapter of this fantastic story unfolds.

I swear this book had me feeling all sorts of emotions. I laughed, I oohed and awed, I even cried. Liz is such a strong-willed, stubborn, caring, woman who is afraid to put herself out there in fear of getting hurt. I think many women, including myself, can relate to that in some way at some point in our lives. Then there's Ben...a cocky, self-assured Marine who knows what he wants and willing to fight for it, or in this case, for her. (the type of man I can only dream of lol) But this story goes beyond just a love story. It's also a story of friendship, heartache, and loss. Things we can all relate to. Which is one thing I absolutely love about C.A. Harms, she writes stories that people can relate to even in the smallest ways.

This story was not what I thought it would be at all. The characters although introduced in the first book in this series is showcased and given a more in-depth history. From having a guy you have a one night hook up with to having him move to your town to be near you is swoon worthy for sure. However, as in this case it can make warning bells go off in a girl’s head and cause her walls to go way higher than they usually are. From commitment issues, to daddy issues, deaths and horrible accidents the complications that this couple face are overwhelming at times but it is also what kept me turning the pages so see what happens. So now I wait with baited breath for the third book in this series just knowing it will be even better than this one.

This book was such a wonderful surprise. When most books start with boy meets girl. Boy wins girls affections. Now we're into 50% of book they get together and then it ends a happily ending. Well not this book. They meet. He falls for her moves to her town and tells her they are ment to be together.. Etc etc. Well now there together and have a beautiful connection. Then things fall apart around them. I simply loved this book. C.A Harms is in my top 5 best authors.

I am so in Love with C.A Harms books, I lose a lot of sleep because of her books Lol. I always love reading about a women not believing in the love and being proven wrong by the perfect man. Liz is a strong women always being the mother figure and taking care of everyone else instead of finding the happiness for herself, She's so afraid of having a relationship like her parents that she's put finding the one because her fears are so strong of being hurt. Ben is such a patient man who knows what he wants and he wants Liz he just need to prove he can be who an what she needs as well as wants. I can't wait to read more of their story. Thank you C.A Harms for yet again a awesome read!

Feels like I have been waiting forever for this book to come out. Let me tell you that it was worth the wait. Liz is a take charge, sassy, funny woman that has daddy issues up the wahzoo. Ben is a retired marine that won't let Liz's fear of love get in his way of winning her heart. Eventually their love is tested and we learn that their love is strong enough. This book was awesome and had some comic relief to balance out the heavier parts. Loved it!

omg i loved it. i absolutely love Ben such a sweetheart. He never gave up on Liz and his determination won out in the end. So many sad moments in this story but it brought Liz and Ben closer together. Liz realized that life was to short to stay guarded and she gave her whole heart. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

I would class this as a gentle feel good romance and I really enjoyed reading it.
Liz is a young woman shaped by her parents volatile relationship, love, relationships and a family are not something she ever envisages having herself.
Liz and Ben got together briefly and whereas the connection between them made Ben want more for Liz it scared her and she ran as fast as she could.

OMG I just love this author!! I just loved Ben and Liz from the very beginning the very end... As always I got to the end and instantly wanted more!!

Amazing book! I started it and finished it in the same day! If we could give it more stars I would. Ben and Liz had one night together and they both couldn't forget it. Ben comes back from the Marines and is bound and determined to have Liz for life. Liz has had a rough past all the way to childhood and is a stubborn woman. Ben and Liz handle heartache, love, laughter, and friends together. Such an amazing story and I will be re-reading this one.

I don't know how she keeps delivering great storylines but C.A. Harms does. This was such a beautiful love story that had me smiling throughout. There were a few scenes that did make my heart hurt but the love these two showed each other made me smile. This was another fantastic read.

Liz and Ben could be one of my favorite couples of the year. LIz saw so much when she was young. She really didn't know what love was, so for her love is not real. It is something that someone makes up and feels that it could never happen to her. She fights it with everything she has. One night stands, hook ups , things that can be permanent. So what happens when a one night stand feels like it could be more. Some stories that would never be told, have been told because she thought she would never see him again. Liz is not damaged but, she is hurt by everything that has happened in her life. How can you believe in something that you feel could never happen to you? Ben, this man is one of those guys you can't let get away. He has had the perfect childhood. His parents are happily married, the whole family gets along and they can't get any closer. When Ben meets Liz,, he knows. He knows that she is the one that he needs, even if she doesn't. So when he doesn't reenlist and moves into Liz's hometown and pops in at a bar where she is, things will change. Liz had no idea and she is going to fight to the end. Ben is going to make her see that love does come expectantly and she needs to embrace it.
These two but heads all throughout this book. When you have two different views on love, that is where the lines are going to be drawn. To find a middle may be harder than ever, but if the see what we see in this book as you read it. When you find the love of your life you will do anything to make it real. What happens if one person keeps on pushing you away? Do you give up, or do you fight with everything you have? With these two there is so much more than you can ever expect. The love that is shown in this book from family members, friends and everybody else is just overwhelming. I loved see how everyone interacted in this book to the end. With everything that goes on with Liz and Ben, there is so much more. There is so much tragedy that goes on in this story, you will wonder how much more can any of them take. Is it worth fighting when you can lose everything that is right in front of you. Ben is this man that will do anything to show what it means to be with Liz. Liz wants to believe, but she doesn't know if she can. If they can meet that middle ground it will be spectacular.
I loved this book. The more you get into it the more you will want them together. CA Harms is amazing. How she tells a story and lets her readers come to live in the lives of her characters it is amazing. I can't ask for more. This story was so real at times because you can see it happening right in front of your eyes. What more can you ask for. Amazing characters. Amazing author.

Forever Devoted is book two in the Crazed Devotion series and can be read as a standalone; however, you meet them in Always His and see the funny before they meet moment that has you laughing when you read this story cause you know Mr. Stubborn and Ms. Independent are going to clash based upon their side we got to see then. Plus, we get to see more of Ryker, Tori and Nicole along with the other characters. I will say though that this one had me crying more than ever. Just when things start looking up we get a twist, oh then it starts to look more promising and bam we are hit again. Didn’t know how much more my heart was going to take. Trust me when I say you will not expect these bomb droppers!! Grab those tissues you have been warned!
Ben and Liz meet while Ben was on a break from the Marines. She was quirky, independent, sassy and didn’t want a forever based upon some prior history. I honestly thought I had read the best in previous C.A Harms books and they couldn't get any better, they are all amazing but this book definitely outshines all. I felt like my whole soul imersed with the beautiful but complicated charecters and their lives in this book.
I loved how Ben knew what he wanted and went after it no matter how hard it was and Liz had her walls so high they were nearly impossible to get through. There where definitely parts in this book that absolutely tore my heart to pieces but kept reading and my heart was once again happy. Absolutely love Bens family they are a riot the brothers gave me giggles. Ayden stole a piece of my heart beautiful boy and how he handles life so brave. I loved the glimpse of Nicole and Ryder you got and Victoria beautiful little Tori. Loved the interaction between Tori and Aunt Liz aswell as her uncle Ben they both definitely wanted to sugar that girl up.
Reading this book I could emerse myself with the charecters and feel the storyline and all the heartache and happiness throughout. Kleenex (tissues) required. I can honestly say that I went from laughing to crying in this book.
I can't honestly wait to see where the author goes with book 3 elle's book because each book in the series has gotten better. I would definitely recommend this book and previous books in this series if you love a beautiful read. I would also recommend anything else this author has written as she write real and beautiful. I honestly can't rave about this book enough.
If you read this book I honestly hope you will connect with it and adore it as much as I have.

I honestly thought I had read the best in previous C.A Harms books and they couldn't get any better, they are all amazing but this book definitely outshines all. I felt like my whole soul imersed with the beautiful but complicated charecters and their lives in this book.

I'll admit that I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger on this one because there have been many many stories written about the "independent woman that doesn't need a man" and, unfortunately, I usually end up disliking the heroine more times than not. BUT, this is CA Harms we're talking about here...she has such a way with words! As with so many of her other books, Forever Devoted has ALLL the feels! This was such an smooth, easy read...it flowed very well.
I loved Liz! Yes, she's strong willed, stubborn and independent yet she is so loving and she truly cares. She's had a rough childhood and is a little gun-shy about giving a man her heart but she doesn't hide behind those fears for long when the right guy comes along. She comes across as the type of friend you'd like to have around you in real life.

After reading Always His I was so excited to read Forever devoted I'd suggest that you start with book one first it shows the meeting of this couple plus you'd better enjoy the characters and feel an emotional pool towards them . There were times while reading this that I felt close to tears and some moments I didn't see coming . When we are introduced to Ben and Liz in the first crazed devotion in the series we could see the intense connection that they shared and the chemistry was just popping out of my kindle , when they meet once again lets just say things don't go the way they are meant to .I really liked Liz she did frustrate me when she fought the way the she felt for the hero but when she finally opens up to him there was no going back . Love love love Ben he's such a great hero he doesn't give up on the heroine even when she pushes him away. There were a lot of twists and turns that I didn't see coming and my heart was broken just like the characters that just shows how much talent CA Harms has were we feel what she writs . With the little tease for the next one I'm so excited to see whats to come .

We were introduced to Liz in Always His, as she's Nicole's bestie, and quite the firecracker. She hooks up with one of Ryker's Marine brothers, Ben, and it's the best night of her life. But since she doesn't do relationships, she puts it behind her, especially since he isn't out of the military yet. When he suddenly shows up in her town, she's thrown for a loop, as she can't quite keep her distance with him so near. And Ben is determined to make Liz his, so will he show her that they are worth taking a chance on, or will she push the one man away who's perfect for her? I LOVED Liz so much, but I have to be honest, there were times that I wanted the shake some sense into her. Yes, I completely understood a lot of her fear, but not all men are jerks, and the absolutely mouth watering Ben, was a good guy. Anytime they were near each other, the sparks shot everywhere, and I thought they were going to blow out of my kindle, so when they finally gave into the chemistry again, the explosion shot fiery flames sky high, and no pair of panties will be left standing. Being this is the second book in the Crazed Devotion series, it was good to see how Nicole & Ryker were doing, not to mention that same colorful cast of secondaries were all accounted for, making even more perfectly placed humor that had me rolling. And while the first book was very emotional, the diabolically brilliant C.A. Harms upped her game with the feels in this story, and I found myself crying like a baby at the huge twists that I didn't see coming! Anyway, enough of out of me, just read this story, as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have a bit of a crazed devotion for all things written by C.A. Harms and this one is no exception!!! Liz was introduced to us in the first book in this series and she is one complicated woman. Fiercely loyal to her family and friends, yet not allowing herself to be open to love, you just know it is because she hasn't met her match yet. Then comes Big Ben!!!! Hello, hotness! Ben is a friend of Ryker and from the first time he met Liz, he knew she was more than just another hot chick. He could sense her fears and yet also could understand her loyalty and courage, with the best part being he wasn't intimidated by any of it. Liz had walls built up so high and thick, it would take someone like Ben to be able to not only break them down, but crush them to dust. Their story is so well written. I love Liz, her sister, and her mother because they are all strong women in their own ways and you can see how they all became the people they are. Liz and Elle are more than just sisters, they are friends and always there for each other and then add in Nicole, a friend, who is more like the third sister and WOW! These women are strong, beautiful, and are always building each other up and never tearing down! I love how Ben shows patience, yet pushes just enough to have Liz begin to wonder, what if? There are two parts of the story I never saw coming and will leave you in tears, but are critical to the story and help it build up to where it needs to be. Love these characters, love this series, and LOVE C.A. HARMS!

C.A. Harms is quickly becoming one of my all time favorite authors, and Forever Devoted really drove that home. Beautiful, passionate, and sweet, Forever Devoted is everything I love all in one book! It had me smiling, laughing, and at times crying like a baby. Absolute perfection!
Liz has a huge heart when it comes to her family and friends. She's a devoted sister, a loving aunt, and a loyal best friend, but when it comes to men her heart is guarded and she's built up walls that are nearly impossible to climb. Ben is every woman's dream. This soldier is not only handsome, but has a heart of gold. Kind, patient, sweet, and strong, he's not backing down when it comes to getting past Liz's defenses.
I loved Liz and Ben SO MUCH! I didn't think I could love a couple more than Nicole and Ryker, but man, these two were so incredible together! Seeing Ben fight to get through Liz's walls showed just how deeply he loved her. Nothing was going to stop him from getting his woman, not even the woman herself. It was almost as wonderful as seeing Liz grow as a character as he steadily chipped away at her armor. There is so much more to Liz than meets the eye and Ben saw it right from the start.
Now I'm off to pout while I impatiently wait for the next book in this series.

This is the 2nd book in the series, but the first one I’ve read and I must say that I am immediately going to go find the other one. Ben and Liz made my heart stutter a few too many times, but then they would fix it with some easy words or actions.
I loved the reality of this story. Life is happening and then it stops and we all have to learn how to deal with it. Ben and Liz (especially Liz) fight what they know their hearts want until they just can’t anymore. Ben’s faith in them and the way he keeps pushing Liz really made me love him and want to steal him from the pages and bring him into my life. I went through the entire gamut of emotions while reading. I laughed because things were just awkward and funny at times. I cried because, like real life, it was sad sometimes. I swooned because Ben is the ultimate book boyfriend and his love for Liz knows no bounds.
I’m so, so honored to have had the chance to read this story and I only wish that everyone would read it as well.

Absolutely loved this book.So very well written. It was an amazingly well written love story with some very sad tender moments. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Ben and Liz. Liz is someone that does not want to fall in love. Because of her childhood she does not believe that love could exist for her. She spends one night with Ben and believes that that is all it was going to be between them. But Ben is not someone that is going to give up that easily. He comes back into town to stay and get what he wants. I absolutely loved the story between these two. It was so yummy and tender. But at the same time there were parts in this book were I literally wanted to cry. Not only does this moment happen once but twice. But through it all love was stronger then what you expected. I loved how no matter what these two were there for each other and realized that they were what each other needed. Liz is strong through the whole thing even when she believed that Ben was better off without her. So very well written love story with very tender moments. Highly recommend reading this book. I absolutely love C.A Harms and her writing.

In this second book of the Crazed Devotion series, we follow Liz and Elle's life. We see what things were like for them as children. We then turn forward to after Liz met Ben, Ryker's buddy from the Marines. I love the play between Liz and her little sister Elle when she shows up at the bar. I love Khloe! Her no-nonsense attitude and the observational suggestions that she gives to Ben are a hoot. When Ben takes Khloe's suggestions to heart and does what she suggested, it is so fun to watch Liz be out of her element. What happens when Ben shows up with Khloe and a girl named Shauna at the bar? What hoops does Ben have to jump through in order to try to win Liz's heart? Can he do it? Does Liz ever open up to Ben about her fears and what has her so skittish about getting involved with someone? Will these two be able to find a way to come together? You need to read this book and find out. I really enjoyed the play between the characters in this book. Lots of fun to read!

This is Liz and Ben’s story. Ben is a former Marine. He is used to doing thing a certain way. He finds out fast after meeting Liz he wants her and wants her to want and need him. But with her being oh so independent he has a challenge on his hands. But not to worry he was a Marine after all he can handle anything he sets his mind to. But even with him so devoted to Liz is he want she wants? Can he convince her that not only is he what she wants but also, he’s worth all the risks? Or is he fighting a wall so high that she built around her heart he never has a chance of getting to her heart?
I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book.

Darn that C.A. Harms! Another book hangover. :) Seriously, this is another amazing read. Ben, wow, what to say about him? He is scrumptious and so darn sexy. I loved how patient he was with Liz without being a pushover. He was still all man. And Liz. So traumatized by her past, but showed real strength when she fought to overcome it.
I was totally shocked by the losses that occurred, and so terribly saddened. We're talking ugly crying here. But I loved how Liz was able to come to terms with her feelings for Ben because of them, rather than pushing him away. Sometimes an author can take the push/pull too far until it's annoying, but there was just enough here. Enough that Liz's fears were felt but so much so not to care about the character.
I would totally recommend this book. It's an awesome second story in the series but can be read as a standalone.

I just love Liz and Ben. They are both stubborn, headstrong and completely head over heels for each other. Liz will never admit it and Ben is trying to play it right to get her to admit to her feelings. The sexual frustration is through the roof and electric.
Both of their pasts have shaped them in to the people they are. While Liz is still trying to compare everything to her past, Ben is able to recognize the strong feelings and great person that Liz is. Liz's friends and family continue to try to convince her that Ben is not like a certain man in her past, but it takes several tragedies before she is able to consider taking down her walls.
