When his brother's phone call is cut off under suspicious circumstances, Nate travels over a thousand miles to find out what's wrong, only to find his brother has vanished. His only clue is a mysterious woman who claims his brother shot her. Nate's determined to find his brother, but can he trust this woman to help, especially when he feels strangely attracted to her?
She's hunting for the princess.
Dragon warrior Kytrima disgraced herself by leaving her post and losing the princess. Her only hope of redemption lies with the human who looks exactly like the man who shot her. She'll happily use him to find the princess.
But as the two begin their search, they discover a growing attraction developing between them. Will they become allies, or enemies?
Is there any place for love in the middle of a dragon war?
Rinelle Grey is no stranger to alternate lifestyles. She grew up in a variety of different homes, including a riverside shack with no electricity or running water, and even a tent. She and her sister spent their childhood chasing goats, climbing trees, eating peas and corn out of their mother’s vegetable garden, and occasionally rushing to get their correspondence school work in on time. Despite the difficulties of this lifestyle, she wouldn’t swap it for all the luxuries in the world (though she is rather fond of her running hot water and indoor plumbing now!)
She met her husband in ‘Family Therapy’, an elective they were both taking as part of their psychology degrees. It took several years for them to get together, in fact, their roleplaying characters got together before they did!
They married on the beach at sunrise in 2002, two months after Rinelle popped the question.
Although she had always loved to write, it wasn’t until her daughter was about eighteen months old that Rinelle started writing seriously. Probably not the best stage in terms of having spare time! And time only became scarcer when her daughter gave up her day sleep six months later. But by then, Rinelle had well and truly caught the writing bug, finding time somehow to continue with her passion. Her fast typing speed learnt from spending way too much time chatting on IRC, and the investment in an iPad when they came out, helped immensely.
Rinelle now lives on acreage with her husband and homeschooled daughter. In her spare time, she sells stock photography through an online site to support her family, and is hoping that writing will be able to add to that.
She loves to receive e-mails at rinelle@rinellegrey.com, or follow her on facebook or twitter.
It was okay, I think it really should have been combined with Dragon Chases because there is too much that is the same between the two books. One book would have been sufficient.
Nate came to his uncle's farm to try to find his brother. Instead he finds a woman hidden in the bush. She is bleeding and claims his brother shot her. She shows him her eyes and convinces him to help her to heal by going into the Mesmer sleep. When she awakes they mate and he feels as if they now have a connection. Katrima is a lighting dragon who is searching for the princess. After the Mesmer sleep when Nate starts asking questions, she lies. They go into town to search. When Nate is in a pub asking about his brother Katrima sees them and takes off with Nate's car. She loses them but comes back to him and tells more lies. They both are having strong feelings for each other but with all the lying Katrima is doing is there even a chance for them? And what happens when they find his brother and the princess, will she harm them? Read this story to find out. There is some information in this book that will go along with the Dragon Breezes story.
Parts were great, but after last book it’s a let down. Other book already told most of this story. Could have continued after last one. One other thing that bugged me. Author made a big deal about his puppy and the other dog. Well what happened to them? I may have missed it because my attention was wondering, but after the motel I didn’t see them again? And the last book didn’t mention them bringing them to the cave.
Nate came to find his brother, what he found was Kytrima and she's after his brother too, so why not search together. Their attraction is immediate and becomes even stronger after Nate helps her heal. Unfortunately Kytrima starts out lying to Nate and when he finds out, he just can't trust her anymore.
Wrong Side of the Dragon is a wonderful story of love, family and sacrifice that, in the end, leads to more love and the potential of reuniting two warring clans. Rinelle Grey has done a great job of weaving this story into the fabric of her series about the Trina and Rian clans and its ending is beautifully satisfying. Hoping for more soon.
Parts of this book almost seem like book 6. That's because twin brothers are involved and two dragon clans to match up. It was like matching up puzzle pieces. Good book, predictable in places, interesting in others.
I have been introduced to Dragon stories with a wonderful book! I am looking forward to reading many more! Very well written and a very clever storyline.
