What a good book. I really enjoyed this. This book starts when a boy is given an assignment to find out his grandfathers love story. Throughout the story you slowly find out how the story began. It was actually quite a sad story with the villain being his girlfriends own father. The events that happen are so heartbreaking. A father who is overbearing all in the name of Christ, yet Christ would never act that way.
This book does include religion, probably why I liked it so much. What I liked is that you saw that we are all human. We make mistakes, but we need to learn from our mistakes. We also learn that if you truly seek, you will find that God has his hand in your life. What great lessons.

This was a wonderful story although it as a little overly preachy at times.
