Definitely not as good as book one but, If He Loves Me was a decent enough read. However, the characters were borderline more dislikable. Cassie was weak and whinny. There's nothing I hate more than a weak heroine and she was the epitome of a weak female. Matt was trash for how he treated Nivea. He broke up with her over the phone the day after Cassie brought her azz back to Memphis. Mind you, he hadn't seen or spoken to her in three months but, he dumped Nivea with the quickness. Why even give him a girlfriend at all if he was just going to treat her like that?!!! Matt's behavior was disrespectful and callous. Ion like that. For Cassie to be a victim of domestic violence, it was barely a footnote in the storyline. If He Loves Me didn't quite give what needed to be gave. I was excited to read about Cassie and Matt's story but, compared to book one, theirs fell short.

A real rider!

Oh my God! What a touching and emotional read! Matteo Tate was the truth! No matter what he learned about Cassie that Valentine's Day, he knew she was his destiny! They had to separate to come together again and neither one could be with someone else really because they were meant to be. Quentin was crazy and ultimately got what he deserved, sorry! A trip to Paris planned in its entirety on the first meeting! Wow this book had me so sprung, I couldn't stop reading it! Best book to date for me by this author. I thought Rocco and Nyz were deep, but Rocco had nothing on cuz in the romance department! I loved it, keep them coming B!!!!!

Matt and Cassie

This was such a sweet story of finding love, but most importantly self love. It's a beautiful thing when love is so present that it beams.....trusting the love from another person is most defiantly priceless but much more precious then gold. I give this story 4.5 stars. I would have liked for it to have captured me more so, but I enjoyed it's messages just the same.

Lovely story and follow up to book one. Cass deserved better and I was hoping she would realize it sooner than later. Matt was such a wonderful fella. . They were so right for each other. Storyline deep as Cass went through her metamorphosis. Good appearances by previous book characters. Great read!

We encountered Cassie Armstrong and her tale of woe as she worked for Nyx Fifer. Cassie is in an abusive relationship and no matter how much her friends plead with her to abandon Quentin, her abusive fiance', she remains there...miserable. The last attempt to leave Quentin, she found herself wrapped in the protective arms of Matteo Tate...and my, my, my....his arms were so strong and safe and she caught a glimmer of what a loving relationship should look like. Matteo Tate is a successful and handsome business man that has the world by the tail. So why is this broken woman haunting him and pulling him in the mix of something that is none of his business.

Could Cassie find her inner strength and realize that she is worth so much more than what she's accepting? Matt is such a treasure, is it possible that she might be the jewelry box that he wants to rest in? The perfect ending to this series💞...

Wow! Queen B. Love got me in my feelings again with part 2.

Matt played no games when it came to Cassie, her happiness, safety, her mental state, and especially her heart. He had no problem protecting her and proving his love was what she'd been missing. The sexiest part was him building their friendship and waiting until she healed before they added sex to the equation.

Quentin was a Mitch Period😠😠😠!!!

Cassie Lord Quentin really screwed her up mentally, physically and emotionally. She was did screwed up she almost missed out on her Boaz cause she was blinded by what she thought was love. Ik this was just a book but I was praying she saw the light before he killed her. Cassie story is like a lot of women and sometimes they have the strength to leave and sadly for some its too late. She had an amazing support system and because of their Love for her and encouragement and her meeting Matt who showed her real unconditional love she had a different outcome.

It was Great catching up with Nyx & Rocco and Alex & Andrea, glad she finally got herself together and started appreciating what she had with Alex.

Matt was the man, and he had flaws and insecurities as well but still loved Cassie through it all. Rocco was a great friend and held no punches. I'll take Matt any day💞.

This has got to be the GREATEST LOVE STORY you've written to date. This book gave me so much life, joy, peace, humbleness, satisfaction, gratefulness and love all at the Same time. This Story is LIFE!!!

I don't even know where to begin...Cassie's journey to self love and true love was so amazing. Matt was her perfect partner because he not only loved her, he encouraged her to love herself. Matt's unconditional love along with his gentleness and understanding is what separates boys from men. B. Love, you said, "unconditional love… sees those things that we think are unlovable or flaws or weaknesses, but it doesn’t care. It loves us anyway." I get it. I pray that more will get it. You not only write stories of love, you give us the stories that mirror parts of our daily lives and let us know that with God, love is absolutely possible. Cassie and Matt needs a supporting role in another book because I believe that they will encourage not only your future couples but your readers as well. You keep writing and I'll keep reading. Gift of God

There is nothing more powerful than the gift of loving yourself. Only then can you fully grow into love with another person. That's the gift that Matteo gave Cassie. A better understanding of who she was in the eyes of God, who she was in terms of self, and ultimately who she was in his eyes. I was happy to see her getting the help that she needed and saw an out although traumatic. My heart broke for the both of them in those moments of unrest. B. Love gave Cassie a rainbow love. A rainbow in biblical terms ( a rainbow is God's promise to us). It goes to show that after the storm and rain is gone away the sun will shine brightly and God will cover you with a peace that surpasses all understanding. Thank you for telling Cassie's story and being giving hope and inspiration to those who feel there is no out.

Amazing, Awesome And Attractive!!!

This story is so amazing to me because as of two weeks ago was the anniversary of my husband's death. Matteo is almost a replica of my husband in his mannerisms. My husband is no longer here anymore because of cancer but I thank God everyday for the time I had with him, but understanding God wanted him back home. I love men who aren't ashamed to show their love, sensitivity and vulnerability to a woman and still feel feel like a man. This story is awesome because I love the journey Cass went on to renew her self worth and the support Matt continued to give before and after her move. The attractiveness of this story is so sexy throughout that I felt every giddiness Cass felt, the tingling in between the legs and the love that radiated from her to him and vice versa. The storyline was an amazing feeling to me that I can't wait until God bless me with another form of agape love. Great Read! VRGH🙌

Sweet Unconditional Love ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Cassie and Matt’s story started in book one of the “Entertainment Districts ��� series. Cassie was so broken due to physical and verbal abuse while in an extremely Toxic relationship. One Valentine night, While working at her best friends Coffee shops she met Matt and little did she know how this man would take the broken pieces of her heart and make it whole again. Unfortunately Cassie couldn’t wrap her mind around someone love I guess her unconditionally so she left town with the only person she felt she was destined to be with because of her brokenness. That was in book one.

This book picks up with her returning home for her best friends wedding. Never thing her world was was going to be turned right side up, but not without some deep trauma . I don’t won’t to spoil it by say to much. Just know that this is a story that will restore your faith in the power of sweet unconditional love ❤️

Love is too great of an experience to only give half of yourself

Matt and Cassie....what can I say except bravo. Their story had me smiling so hard. Cassie deserves to be shown all of the love and affection there is because her dealing with ol' dude was so heartbreaking. Matt, Matt, Matt, what can I say except he is so patient, kind, loving and supportive. Their story was truly a love story. They connected on an emotional level first before they went the physical route. I was so engrossed in their story before I realized they hadn't even got down yet and it did not take away from their story. A lot of stories will have the couple getting busy at the start, but these two were on another level. I can't stop smiling, awesome read once again

Cassie and Matt got a story!!!

After I read and adored B. Love’s Coffee with a Side of You, I had hoped that we would get a story about the secondary characters Matt and Cassie, imagine my delight when I was scrolling through Amazon and came across If He Loves Me.

If He Loves Me was some sappy shxt, but I love sappy, and over the top, so it worked perfectly for me.

Cassie Armstrong has been looking for love in all the wrong places for most of her adult life. She gave her love freely and wholly to men who never deserved her. When we first meet her, she is in an abusive relationship with her current boyfriend, Quentin.

“Why do I fall in love with every guy that gives me the slightest bit of attention and affection? Maybe it’s because it takes years for me to find someone that I genuinely like. So when I do meet a guy that I can vibe with it’s like I literally pour my soul into him. Break open my heart to allow him entrance.”

Matteo Tate fell in love with Cassie the first time he met her, and even though he absolutely disapproves of her relationship with Quentin and the hell he puts her through, he is respectful of their relationship and has surrendered himself to the fact that they only may be friends. He becomes more than a friend to Cassie though, he becomes an essential part of her life that she needs more than ever.

If He Loves Me is a story of self-love, redemption, and the journey to real, healthy, and fulfilling love. Cassie had to learn that there is real power in loving yourself. Matteo had to steer her in the right direction but also love her enough to let her figure things out on her own. Cassie’s story was traumatic but love (for herself, for others, from Matt, from her family) brought her to the other side.

I loved that Matt and Cassie’s relationship. They were friends first and the balm each other needed to salve their respective pains. This was a relatively short read at 146 pages but it packed a punch. These two went through quite a journey that I won’t spoil, you’ll simply have to take my word for it and read the book.

If He Loves Me serves as a reminder that only when we truly love ourselves can we love others in the way that they (and we) deserve. This novel was a page turner; raw and sensual, sexy, and smooth.

Powerful read!!!

I loved everything about this read. The love that Matt and Cassie shared for each other was so amazing. I was so proud that she got herself out of the situation with Quentin because he surely wasn't worth it. This was also a lesson that domestic violence is so real, so I feel like if you see the signs in your or someone else relationship please try to get or find help. I loved how Matt was automatically her protector in every situation she went through, that just proves his love that he had for her. It may have not been much but that proposal was everything. As always this was a great read B. Love and you did your thing

Cassie and Matteo special and deep love

I could not put this book down Matteo had a girl wishing that all men can take the time to develop that spiritual first and then mental relationship with a woman. So that they can make sure that they are equally yolk. That's how Cassie and Matteo had that deep love when you see your significant soulmate your heart skips a beat and you just have that goofy smile. Also how he was her Protector and Friend first. I will advise anyone to read this book.

Love beats all

I enjoyed this book so much. Love can bring many challenges but when it’s true, it beats all. Matteo and Cassie were soulmates from the very beginning. They just didn’t realize it. I loved reading about Cassie’s journey to finding and embracing self love. Matteo’s need to protect is just what Cassie needed. She needed protection from the creep she was engaged to and protection from herself. Her lack of enough self love left her vulnerable and open to so much pain.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

Too much trauma, not enough growth. Cassie stayed lost and confused, and the lack of real communication between her and Matteo was exhausting. You escape DV, say you need time to heal, then stress over marriage six months later? Make it make sense.

Matteo was stuck too either steamroll her or wait, but the tiptoeing did nothing for the story. Cassie’s mom worried about “shacking up” but not years of abuse? Wild.

Cassie didn’t start doing the work until 65% in, and only left that man because Matteo moved on. The whole thing lacked depth and emotional payoff. Just didn’t work for me

Wow

I love Cassie and Matt. The love he had for her was everything. He loved her enough to let her go, he loved her enough to give her time to find herself, he loved her enough to be the man that she needed him to be. This was everything. It shows you how to have a real relationship without the sex to confuse things. This shows you how to take your time and get to know each other on a mental level. I love this story. Awesome read.

The Amazement Never Stops

The depths of my soul that you reach with your writing are amazing. I never want to say anyone is my TOP favorite author but today I have to officially adorn you with that title. Your writing makes me have hope in love in a divine way. The fact that in this story I didn't see a man attempting to make a female whole. Can I first just say that my cheeks hurt from smiling so much in absolute happiness for Cassie and Matt. I'm happy for Cassie that she was able to stand up for herself and in turn begin to love herself. I'm happy for Matt that he was able to let go off his insecurity and get his woman officially. The best lesson from the book is that when you are pouring love into yourself you in turn have love to pour into others.

Yes, he truly did!

Cassie & Matt are the cutest couple ever! I love how they just seemed to connect as strangers and grew from there. The love that he poured into her was much needed for her to learn how to love herself. Once that was done, it was no stopping her. I hate that she had to be the one with that last bad memory but I'm more than positive Matt will make her forget all about everything before him.

Mr. Too damn good

Great book..... I loved how matt loved her bit allowed her to grow and I loved how patient matteo was with her..... The perfect song to describe him Gerald levert Mr. Too damn good. The relationship between Cassie and Matteo was something every woman wishes for, he pushed for cassie to finally grow and discover things about herself that the wrong man discouraged her too....

Matteo!!!!

This book was great from start to finish. Lord Matteo was everything! His love was unconditional when it came to Cassie. They were true relationship goals. I felt every emotion through their words and physical show of affection. This was a definite page turner, I could not put it down. Cassie went through a lot, but she had so much support I’m so glad she realized her worth. Phenomenal job as always by the author!
