As Keira still finds Persian sands beneath her feet, she is yet to discover the true meaning of what it is to be The Chosen One to the King of Kings. For now that Arsaces has her, he simply plans on keeping her…No matter what the cost. Even if that means fighting the prophecy and stealing her from the only world she has ever known… A world that is about to end.

Afterlife is the first book in the series of 12 books, with the story of Keira and Draven becoming ever more complicated in a world that sets them miles apart. The Transfusion Saga will also be a 12 book series once book 12 is released in May 2021. Other spin -off books and series are also available with lots more planned.
When not writing, Stephanie enjoys chatting with her fans and spending time with her friends. Being with her loving family as much as she can including her wonderful daughter Ava, sons Jack and Halen and supportive husband and personal muse Blake, who is there for her no matter what.
It fills my heart with great sadness that this was the final book in this saga. I became a true fan of Stephaine Hudson writing after reading the first book of this saga called Afterlife, which I immediately feel in love with the hero and heroine and it's storyline after that one book. I knew I would read any other books of this series after that one without any hesitation or any contemplation whatsoever.
I knew from the first book that I beheld a true book treasure and my God how hard are those to find these days? But like all good things it must come to a end. I applaud you Stephaine, cause you didn't disappoint me with the ending of this saga.. You let my girl Keira, (our heroine) go out with a bang 💥 and boy was I so proud her "badassness" and righteous triumphs. Well done Stephaine, well done indeed.
To all that may come across my review this is a recommendation to you to read this saga. If you like YA, Paranormal Fantasy, Angels and Demons, Heaven and Hell books well this is saga you don't want to slip through your fingers...
Now for my secret sauce... If I had to describe this book with a song... well it will be 3 for this entire saga/series:
🎶 At Last 🎶 by Etta James 🎶 Conquueror 🎶 by Empire Cast Feat. Estelle and Jussie Smollett 🎶 Tru Love 🎶 by Faith Evans
Overall Rating for this book and the entire Saga/Series: 5* ~ Excellent Read!
So worth the wait, part of me is gutted that it's finally come to an end and I now feel a little lost I have loved every minute spent going through Keiras journey with her and fell in love with everyone, I seriously can't recommend this series and author enough you absolutely have to read Afterlife it has everything you could ever want there's plenty of action, suspense, vampires, demons, angels, gods, passion, sacrifice, heartbreak, true love lots and lots of sexy men laugh out loud moments a twist to history that I loved and the sex scenes are written brilliantly and wow I could go on and on but seriously just read it yourself you won't be disappointed finally just a massive thank you Stephanie for this series it's one I have reread loads and will always be happy to go back to I Will miss Keiras and dravens story but I hope to see them again in future books thank you xxcx
Sigh…. I have stuck with this series hoping it would redeem itself. Unfortunately, Keira is just so unlikable. I love the setting and the concept, and the other characters in this series. The author is amazing at building a world and helping you see it. I wanted to love this so bad. But the way Keira is written, it makes no sense and makes her undesirable. She’s made to blush constantly because she’s so modest, yet she isn’t at all so it doesn’t fit. It’s ok for women to be sexual so the fake modesty is just distracting. In one sentence, Draven is the only man she’s ever loved, literally in the next, she’s saying she’s in love with Lucious. It’s written repeatedly that she’s a pure heart, yet she never puts others lives before her lust. Every man is so beautiful it’s unfair, someone’s life could be in the balance and she stops to lust after men because of her female mind. Don’t get me wrong, looking is great, but who stops to ogle someone when it could mean someone’s death. She’s kissing Lucious, hears Draven, is horrified and swears it’ll never happen again, then again literally in the next sentence she’s tickling him. It is impossible to believe in this great love affair of Keira and Draven, when she thinks more about Lucious. It’s so back and forth, her character doesn’t flow. We won’t talk about how she never understands anything. If shes sexual then let her be. If she’s incapable of being loyal and in true love, then let it be. But describing her in one way, and putting her actions in another, is sadly off putting.

Thank you for writing a world I eagerly was lost in, I felt a personal connection to all the characters, But most of all to Pip, For I believe everyone needs a Imp Like Pip in their lives! I will forever feel privileged that the author shared her world to us mere mortals 😉
Keira still finds Persian sands beneath her feet, she is yet to discover the true meaning of what it is to be The Chosen One to the King of Kings. For now, the Arsaces has her, he simply plans on keeping her...No matter what the cost to Keira's future.
And Keira knows that she has to fight the prophecy for the time being and Arsaces wants to steal her from the only world she has ever known.
And Keira knows that it's a world that's about to end.

Blood of the Infinity War is the 10th book in the Afterlife Saga by Stephanie Hudson. I have loved this saga and the adventure it has taken us on. The fantasy romance with epic action, hot kings, heroines, and the entire cast of paranormal characters. From the present day to all the Persian kingdom and Old Egypt. Prophecy of course comes into play.
I have to say that Keira and Dominic's story is full of complications, love, and spicy scenes. I quickly became addicted to all the paranormal characters that I came to love in this saga. And I can't wait to dive into the last two books in this series.
Blood of the Infinity War picked up where the 2nd part of the Sacrifice of the Septimus ended. We find that Keira is still in Persia, and she still has some explaining to do. I was so happy to see that Keira was reunited with Sophia, Pip, and Ari. Stephanie didn't disappoint us in giving us the best spicy scenes that you are not going to forget, I will warn you, it does take a good bit to really get into the action that you really want to see and that you've been waiting for.
I do love that we got not only Keira's POV but we also get Arsaces' POV (this is Dominic in Persia). He is just like Dominic, sweet, possessive, and ever so protective but he's more prone to laughing and less of an ass-hole than the Dominic of the present. I love how Stephanie did such an amazing job of giving us the perfect older and centuries-younger Dominic. It was chef's kiss perfect.
Eventually, Keira finds that the deed is done and it's proven to be overdone. Keira finds that she's been changed in ways that she's not sure if Dominic of the future will accept. But, first, Keira, Sophia, Pip, and Ari have to find a way to get back to their own time. But, in typical Stephanie fashion this trip in time doesn't stall, the action just ramps it up with more emotions and even a life-saving gesture. But, Keira and her girls finally do get home and boy is she in for a shock when she gets home.
And finally, we get to the mortal wedding, and it is beautiful and stunning, but the big reveal of truth is the shocker for everyone. And the truth does eventually come out. And when it did, it nearly brought tears to my eyes. Dominic was so accepting of the first truth. And the end of the prophecy, that is action-packed and I have to say that it's more fantasy-based than it is paranormal.
But, in the coming of the end of the prophecy, we learn not only what the truth of Keira's future is but we also get to see the truth of Katie's purpose. And man, does Katie ever get a raw deal. But, Keira is the saviour she always knew she was meant to be. And when Dominic learns she's pregnant, he's shocked, and then even more shocked when it's realized that it's the him of the past who got Keira pregnant, it was actually him. It was Dominic of the present day who got Keira pregnant.
And we come to the ending, the epilogue. The epilogue is a surprise that you don't want to miss. I absolutely fell in love with Keira and Dom's baby's name Amelia Faith. I just think that's the perfect name for the perfect baby. And I can say that it looks like Keira and Dominic are finally going to get their own HEA. After all their ups and downs they totally deserved to find this, even though they know that there is a secret out there, a missing part of their family that they will see again one day. I loved the perfect twist that Stephanie added at the end and I can't wait to read more of her books and find out what happened to those two souls that are safely hidden away.
You need to read this series ASAP! This is one thrilling ride that will have you addicted to Stephanie Hudson, the stories that she tells, and Stephanie's writing style.
Nice….. BUT….. It could have been so much better. To start with, the series could have been at least 3 books shorter. The pentagram child as a whole was unnecessary as touching Lucius’ sword was not needed as well was him dying and unsurprisingly surviving. And Samael and Alex really did not add anything, other than a reason for some exagerated fight in Hell. And for Draven to gain back his love the forced marriage party was also overdone and a bot vague as the only krans to introduce Seth. I mean, who was trying to kidnap het again in that square? And the serious talk with Sigrid could have been done differently. The Septimus books could also have been merged into one and taking out all the endless and needless repetitions and overly long descriptions of clothes and rooms and the cringing inner dialogues that are meant to reflect self consciousness and selfdoubt but become insanely annoying very quickly all taken together could have saved another book. And the crossover to the Hexad could have been geven a little more plausible explanations as to hoe a mirror can end up in a highly guarded bedroom and what the reasoning was behind it. And then it all ends with just two chapters on the epic battle we have been waiting for in the past 8 books. And then she suddenly knows all about how to act and fight like a goddess out of the Blue. Yeah, right….. Plot twists are great but they could be made a little bit more believable.
But my main annoyance come from the endless repetitions. Seriously, how many times can you refer to: Almond eyes (why would this be sexy in a man?) The crazy chicken dance Jealously when jealousy should be used One single tear rolling down my cheek Oops can’t help myself but I just blurted out what I wasn’t supposed to say… Oops can’t help myself but I just let out a little screech telling of where I am hiding Oops can’t help myself but I am just getting involved in a fight way over my head, just so I can be saved again Acting stupid and let your friends save your ass again and again, which they do solely because you are adorable and cute and have a beautiful soul without any evidence whatsoever to support that; acting enlessly stupid with no backbone is not adorable Endless pinnig after Lucius while you love Draven more; seriously it is just cringing and cheating on your lover Using texts in foreign languages that are completely incorrect and often do not match the English translation given And last but not least: oh, I am about to die but I have peace with it ….. oh look I get miraculously saved in implausible ways yet again….
It is truly a series with potential, but it could have been written with a little more attention to the plot and less in a hysteric girlie way. The girlie parts are fun, especially with Pip, but not in this hysteric cringy way. Pip’s best advice: hold on to a thought for twenty seconds and then think if you still want to say it loud. And giving birth does not happen like this. It was a fun series, but I had to get myself over the badly written stuff a little too many times.

There are no words to describe Book 8 of the Afterlife Saga: Blood of the Infinity War, but since this review requires them I shall make what will doubtless be a feeble attempt. Those who have followed the story from the beginning have witnessed the metamorphosis of Keira from a frightened damaged soul to this final stage, a goddess of power and strength. She is a beautiful spirit whose willingness to sacrifice everything for the people she loved is awe inspiring. We have seen Draven change, too, from a brooding and secretive entrepreneur to a King consumed by his love of Keira and possessed of a new gentleness of spirit that only serves to enhance his formidable power. The supporting cast of characters - human and supernatural alike - were so well developed as to become an integral part of the story and each is capable of sustaining his or her own series. The exotic and paranormal settings are all beautifully described and in such detail so as to create a clear picture for the mind’s eye. And the climax? Just spectacular as the final battle against the Titan Cronos and his minions is of epic proportions ending in a conclusion that is both satisfying and heartwarming. All in all, Blood of the Infinty War provides a spectacular bow for the gift that is The Afterlife Saga. And author Stephanie Hudson promises more as we await the release of The Glass Dagger. Highly recommended.
Its hard to put into words what this series has mean to me. It is so special and dear to my heart because it has helped me smile, laugh, cry and get all hot n bothered when I was going through something in my own life. The writing is amazing and it was more than just a vampire genre. The last books was so perfect, it was just amazingly perfect. I have always loved how long the books are, I feel more involved and happy I get to be in Afterlife for so long. I have fallen in love with Draven and Luscious and I am still amazed that Keria didn't just scoop them booth up and make a demon sandwich. The action is always heart pounding and existing. I spent so much time trying to put the book down to try and get stuff done but it was sooooo hard. I loved all the characters and they each hold a special place in my heart. Stephanie is an amazing creative thinker and I would love to crawl into her head for just one day to see what other amazing stories are going to come out of her. I am sad that Keria and Dravens story has come to an end because it was such a thrilling ride. I am hoping Luscious gets his own spin off because I love him almost the most. So now all I can say is Thank You Stephanie for the hours of enjoyment and the sexy writing I could never get enough of. There will always be a place in my heart for Afterlife
This fantasy romance is epic with action, adventure, hot kings and heroines, and a whole cast of paranormal characters. I love this story and the journey it took the reader thru from past to present and lots of phrophecy in between. Kiera and Draven's story is full of complications, love, and steamy scenes. I am totally addicted to the fantastic characters I have discovered in the afterlife saga. I can't wait to read the last two books in this series and more from this author.
This book warns for explicit content, graphic language, and a mature audience.
We pick up where the last book ended. Kiera is still in Persia, but she has some explaining to do. I'm glad to see that the girl gang is back, as I just love that Imp. However, this book has some steamy scenes you are bound to remember, but it does take a while to get to the action you are waiting for.
We also get glimpses of Arsaces' point of view, and yes, that is Draven at this time in Persia. He is sweet, possessive, and protective, but I love how he laughs and is less of an arsehole than the Draven we usually see. The author did a quote job incorporating mannerisms to identify him even in the past.
So that the deed is done and proven overdone. How will Kiera, Sophia, Pip, and Arianne get back to the 21st century? As if this trip in time couldn't get any exciting, the author truly ramps it up to insane action, emotions, and even life-saving gestures. However, when Kiera finally does return home, she is in for a shock.
Yaya is finally getting to the wedding, but of course, the big reveal of the truth will be the real shocker for everyone. Oh, the truth finally comes out. The end of the phrophecy is totally action-packed and definitely more fantasy-based than paranormal.
The epilogue is very surprising; you won't want to miss it. Oh, the baby's name is Amelia, and my goodness, that is a sweet name. It looks like life for them is finally happy. Oh, Kay, so I could totally end the series after the end of this book as it ended just perfectly. However, the author pulled a twilight with that twist, and since I looked forward to her books, I can't wait to read more.
What can i say, Stephanie Hudson you had me gripped in this final book with how the story progressed,i really didn't want to start this even though, i couldn't wait for this book to land on my kindle so that it could answer all my many questions, i knew that i would devour this too quick so that it would then be the end of a era and my Afterlife journey would be at an end.
This book had me feeling all kinds of emotions from laughing, crying and shouting thoughout where i didn't know was was going to happen next as Kiera got herself in all kinds of situations where i never knew what the outcome would be.
There was some shocks along the way that i never saw coming that totally took me by suprise,Stephanie you have blown me away and i now have a huge book hangover. This was a fantasic ending to a amazing saga that i never wanted to end,but there is hope as we have the Afterlife Chronicles and spin off's to look forward to in the future.
This book was so worth the wait even though i knew it was going to be the end,i loved Kiera and Dominic Draven's journey throughout, and i am going to miss there story, as this book was captivating, sexy and humorous and much much more.Thankyou Stephanie for sharing your thoughts and putting them down in this fabulous saga for us to read, you have taken us on a amazing ride which i never want to get off.
The majority of the book still occurs in ancient Persia. Keira is kidnapped again. It sure would have been nice to have an explanation as to how Layla/Lahash managed to escape either while being escorted to Tullianum Prison or from there once she had been incarcerated. It’s as if she disappears from everyone’s consciousness. I would think an assassin on the loose would be mentioned by someone. What, they didn’t want Keira to worry her pretty little head? Yeah, that always works out so well. She breaks up a fight to the death between Draven and Lucius.
There’s a whole lotta essence sharing going on.
Will the four girls be able to figure out a way to return to the present? Janus is one enigmatic dude The meaning of the prophecy is finally revealed.
Keira comes into her own during an epic battle. The rest of the story turns pretty mundane. I don’t recall her having more than one child when she’s mentioned in other series. I’m curious as to what happens to the two souls that didn’t receive hosts.
I’m not sure if this is mentioned in this book or another - Keira keeps referring to Afterlife as home. As I recall, the first book states that Draven and his crew visit the club for a short time every year. I assume they visit his other holdings the rest of the time. So why is it now “home”?

Love the afterlife saga... love Stephanie's writing. This was like Sacrifice of the Septimus part 2 for me (which I gave 3 stars). I wanted more of what happened in the end. The wedding, battle, etc. The beginning 76% just seemed like- ok it was the exact same- bits that had happened in previous books. It was miss, miss, hit, miss, rinse and repeat, throughout. The ending was great but I wanted more of the whole lot of characters throughout not the just the last 24%. Those percentages are exact btw for past and present. I loved the books prior but if I wanted to rehash what has happened I'd reread them. Having the same situations play out over again between D&K as well as L&K just bothered me. I understand it had to get to a certain situation but it could have been different- or gone back to the present way sooner. Still love the afterlife saga and will continue with the spinoffs as like I said the ending was great. This is a 3.5 for me.
Blood of the Infinity War, was all kinds of awesome!!! Talk about WOW!! I was glued the whole way through. Absolutely perfect! If your a crier has those tissues ready. You will cry in sadness and in great joy!! Again as all her books have been so far high intense with lots of laughter. Loved loved loved this one!
For all you readers who stopped reading this series before you got to this point, well let’s just say you’re missing the best parts!!

The eyes are the windows to your soul but someone once said that if this is true, then your smile is the window to your heart and it is very clear to me that you hold beauty in both.

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 10th in the Afterlife Saga and ends in an HEA of sorts. Still in Persia, Keira confesses all to Dom. Lucius plays an important role in this book, but in the entire saga, really. He kidnaps Keira (again). He tries to marry her before Dom can rescue her. Why Lucius is so attracted to Keira is finally explained as he saves her life (again).
>I loved the epic battle between Dom and Lucius in the Roman Coliseum. Keira and the gang do travel back in time and meet with a furious Dom who has figured most everything out. Lucius must help out again in order for the wedding to actually take place. The wedding is not uneventful as another battle breaks out.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. How can you not like a book with a wedding and a baby?
I'm going to be honest I the beginning of the book got a little boring,. It was just a little to much draven and Kiera and no one else in the beginning,. I found myself skipping a lot of pages. This was obviously the last book I guess I was looking forward to getting questions answered and a lot more action then what there was,. The best of the book started at 87 percent for me,. So it was a little disappointing for all the action to start in the very end. Through out her books stephanie has had action through out the entire book it wasn't just half of a book nothing but Kiera and draven arguing back and forth. Well all in all I fell in love with this series but when I reached book 7 the first one it felt like there was always to big of a miss in the books.
Often the final book in a series leaves you dissatisfied or leaves you with too many unanswered questions. That would not be the case with this brilliant conclusion. I have always admired Stephanie Hudson's story telling abilities, but I think she has moved to Master Storyteller after writing the conclusion to this series. All of the books in this series have had a complicated story filled with a lot of complex characters and sub plots. To be able to wrap all of this up in one book and make it all work together took some amazing talent. It's been a very enjoyable journey reading the Afterlife Saga. I look forward to the spin offs and other works by Stephanie Hudson.
This book surprised me. I mean this is book ten so I am vested in completing this series with these characters who I have enjoyed. Yes, the lead female is still frustrating but in this book ten at least she is not running directly towards danger without thinking or a quick plan. I thought that this was the last book actually because the author wrapped up the storyline so nicely and provide us readers with some answers that we have wanted since book one. I missed Pip and Adam in this book. Sure they are included but more on the sidelines. I am not going to give away anything but the ending will be shocking but then reveal so much of what had to happen. There is still a lot of internal dialogue and thoughts. Read On!
I could hardly wait for this book and am now saddened that the saga is over. This was one of my first paranormal romances and I have waited patiently for each book. Every time, Stephanie made it worth every page. I wish we could could know what happens in the future with Draven and Kiera's soul babies. For anyone on the fence about this series, just buy book one and join the kings of heaven and hell find their true quests lead by a resilient human, Keira, who has a forever love in Draven. This is a love story you won't forget. Thanks Stephanie, for the tears, laughter, fear and satisfaction you have given your readers. One of the top 10 series in my opinion.
I loved the Afterlife series and am sad to let it go. I'll miss Kiera, all her friends, Lucius, and the Dravens - especially Dom. Blood of the Infinity Wars was a long time coming, and, while the beginning was a bit slow, the culmination was worth it. (Wished some of the typos had been caught but I was so engrossed in the story, they didn't take much away for me). This story that Stephanie has woven is truly a wonderful world that has given me many hours of entertainment and escape. I felt as if I was welcomed into the VIP with Kiera and made Afterlife a place I may have to just revisit again!
This book is so bitter sweet. As it is the last book of an amazing journey. I have met so many characters and when I say met, I might as well have because these characters will always be with me. I knew that this book would be amazing as is everything that she puts words to but I never expected her to take me to another whole new level. This book is everything!!!! I don’t know how she does it...the details, the scenes, the humor...like I said, this book is everything!!!!
I absolutely loved this series. The twist the turns, heart ache and love, and all this historical fiction just made it a pleasure to read. I am looking forward to what the author has to offer in the future as I will definitely be reading them. The last book itself as very typical of the others. Lots of drama leading up to the final battle. I have loved all the characters and how they have all fit into the storyline. I am looking forward to reading this series again in the future.
If this was the very last sentence we ever got of Keira and Dom..it would be a great ending🖤🖤 Fortunately, it's not and I'm sure the ending is absolutely amazing🖤 This book was great for many reasons. Persia looks good on Keira and most definitely Dom...and Sophia and Pip..badasses as always. Lucius is guaranteed not to disappoint! The end is near I fear for this amazing part of the story...and what a ride it has been🖤🖤🖤💜💜💜 I can't wait to see what comes!
I actually hated this whole series but I’m not a quitter.
I stated the second series first be accident and wanted to understand the relationships involved and hoped the repeating of stuff won’t continue, however it did.
I’m still not convinced each book needed to be so long. If I had nothing better to do I would love to edit it down and remove all the repeated information.
I would only suggest this series if you are listening whilst cleaning or flighting somewhere. Anything to aid in the wasting of time.
Despite the very serious matter of saving the world, twice, this book had me laughing like a loon 'cos there was more humour in it than in any of the others. It drew together all the disparate strands very skillfully & satisfyingly. I'm looking forward to two new characters turning up at some point, too. It also clarified a lot of things that cropped up in both Transfusion & Hellbeast's sagas. Not sure where it goes from here as it seems to have wrapped up so well. Off to find out now!
Just when you think you know what's going to happen the past comes and bites you in the bum! I lost count of how many no no no no no moments I went through, and how many oh ya moments there were. Well Stephanie Hudson you should be so proud of your self. I can quite honestly say I'm so glad I was guided to read your books but I am also thankful in not in your head! Congratulations x
What can I say ... Wow well worth the wait a part of me is so sad that it is the last book and has had to end . I have loved being on the journey with Keira and Draven with all the laughter and the tears .I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this series or author to anyone it has all you could ask for. Thank you Stephanie for a much loved series one that will be reread time and time again xx
I just love the imagery I'm able to experience with this saga, and book 8 was no different. I'm sad to see this end, as I envisioned future stories from several of the other characters. I'm optimistic that these may get explored in the Chronicles.
If you enjoy series-type books with a supernatural flair, this series is for you. Stephanie does NOT disappoint!
