Some inherit kingdoms. Others inherit war.

The Advorsa were never meant to rule—they were meant to destroy. And now, they are bleeding Terra Magna dry. Cities fall. Blood spills. The gifted are hunted like prey, their power feared, their lives expendable.

Caelara Teneo was born to command the sky and sea, but in Disequilibrium, her greatest battle is with the fractures inside her own heart. Torn from the Arcane rebellion, she journeys north in search of answers, leaving behind the war she helped ignite. Yet war is never far behind. And neither are the two men who would fight for her, even as they fight each other.

Survival demands sacrifice. Power demands control. But as the truth behind Caelara’s embedded jewel and the Keys to Time comes to light, she must ask herself—how much more is she willing to lose?

Because Lasias isn’t just taking Terra Magna. He’s unraveling it. And if he succeeds, there won’t be anything left to save.

Disequilibrium is the fourth book in The Sacerdos Mysteries, following Sacerdos, Arcane Rising, and Waterblood. In this gripping installment, Elizabeth Amisu blends psychological tension with high-stakes fantasy, delving deep into the aftermath of war, separation, and the scars no battlefield can hide. Four years in the making, this novel is layered with more clues than ever, unraveling the mystery of Caelara’s mark, the truth behind her jewel, and the path to Lasias’ disequilibrium.

The endgame is coming. And not everyone will make it out alive.

Amazingly well written, compelling story again. After I had read the first 3 books: Sacerdos, Arcain Rising and Waterblood, Disequilibrium became my new favourite. Elizabeth takes us on an emotional, thrilling journey where the tension of love, jealousy, despair and being on the run makes you want to keep reading. And way to quick the book is finished, leaving you with an empty feeling knowing that the only thing you can do is wait, just wait for the next book......Highly Recommended!
