Mark has always been the oddball. He openly read romance novels in high school, and somehow never got mocked for it. His parents once told him to go to more parties, because all that reading couldn't be healthy for his social life.

Well, they were right. But he still found his HEA with his husband and Old English Sheepdog. They like to go on long walks in the Connecticut countryside or just hang out by the pond with a glass of wine.

Now he has his dream job, and he couldn't be happier to bring all of you the strange fantasies floating in his head.

Alex is a 25 year old waiter who feels trapped in his small home town of Merlin’s Grove, CT.

Dan is a 35 year old banker and workaholic who needs to live a little. He accepts a blind date with Sebastian, a friend of a friend at the Knightcap bar.

Things get interesting when Dan mistakes Alex for Sebastian...and Alex doesn’t correct him. Unfortunately, Dan isn’t the only one to mistake him for Sebastian. A crazy mage with murder on the brain challenges him to a magical duel and won’t take “wrong guy” for an answer.

Let’s just say that Alex yearns for the days when he was a boring old server at the local grill.

Although some parts were a bit hokey (the robed, hooded members of the town’s paranormal council come to mind—like no one would notice people running around in robes, delivering secret messages)—it was a pretty entertaining way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
