Historian Emilia Guthrie is exploring the ruins of a Stonehaven castle when she sees an apparition in the distance. Her curiosity takes her down a path she never thought possible, putting a 16th century Highlander's life in her hands.

Dougal MacGavin must defeat the Buchanan clan to prove himself as Laird. In the midst of a bloody battle, he must suddenly protect a woman as strange as she is beautiful.

Emilia is determined to save Dougal and the MacGavin clan, despite the fact he thinks her mad. How can they overcome their own battle of stubborn will and attraction to fight all that threatens to destroy them?

This has to be my favorite story yet by Audrey Adair. This story gives you just enough background information to know backstories without getting board. The story moves at a great pace from present to past and then through the time travel. I just adore the main characters of Emilia and Dougle and the struggle they go through. I would love to see a squeal to this story where someone is reading a history book or a descendant is telling the story of these two. Of course Fiona, a fairy-godmother, or guardian angel, will be there to fill in any missed details. Bravo to Audrey. Thank you for another great story.

Time Of Valor by Audrey Adair is a well-written time travel book. This is a fairly quick read, a great choice for those with limited time for reading. Ms Adair has given us a book that will capture you from the start. Emilia and Dougal's story is loaded with action, suspense, spicy bits and phenomenal characters. I totally love the characters in this story, they are a perfect fit. I enjoyed reading Time Of Valor and look forward to reading more from Audrey Adair in the future. Time Of Valor is book 2 of the Love For All Times Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Wow, talk about riveting!

I read this short story straight through and it was awesome.

This is the second Time Travel Scottish History Romance that I have read by Audrey Adair and, I hope there are many more!

Going from modern day America to the 1500's, and, who is the mysterious Fiona that keeps cropping up here and there.

If you are looking for a terrific read, then this is it.

Short, light-hearted, time travel romance that takes place mainly in the 16th century, but does have some scenes in present day 2017. The characters were well-developed and very likable. The plot line was fascinating and moved at just the right pace. The "time hops" flowed smoothly, and the attention to historical detail was impressive. I liked everything about this book, except the cover. Dougal's hair... just ugh. Ruined the whole "hot Scot" image I tried to have of him in my mind.

Looking forward to the next book by Adair.

I'm giving this book a 2 only because I kinda feel sorry for the author of she thinks she can wri he a book, because she can't. And I tried, I really did. I made it to chapter 7 but I was at the point to either put the book down or start pulling my hair out of my head. I dont get as these great reviews. Are the reading the same book I am? They can't be because there is no way on Earth this is a5 star book. But then again, what do I know? I thought Barbara Cartland s book s were stupid prattle but she sure sold a lot of them. Ms Author, please, if you are going to keep writing, please get to the point you doing need to go on on and oon over and over and over. KISS Your characters are weak also. Do a little research on the time line you are writing about. I'm pretty sure there was no plates in thr 1100's.

Dougal MacGavin, Laird of the clan MacGavin, was a strong and caring man. He was waiting to be formally declared Laird. He was young when his parents died so he was Laird in training. Emilia Guthrie went to college and got a Doctorate in history, mainly Scottish history.
I absolutely loved this story. It has everything, battles, kindness, family and love. It is well written and kept my attention from beginning to end. The characters were charismatic and the dialogue was excellent. The descriptions allowed you to see what it was like, at least according to the history books. This will be a book I want to read again.
I received this ARC free and voluntarily reviewed it.

love time travel books. They are magical.
This is my first book by Audrey Adair and it was wonderful. The was Emilia traveled back in time was totally believable, especially since she was a student of Scotland. Thankfully, in her travels, she landed next to Dougal and proceeded to save his life.
The book was quick and enjoyable with a good story and charming characters. The time travel, although very brief, between the present and the past added an interesting twist to the story.
This can easily be read as a stand alone, but I will now go back to read volume 1.
I received an ARC of this book. The choice to read and review it was all mine.

This was an enjoyable read. I have read two other time travel books. One before it became popular and the other still something of a secret. Both were excellent. This one fits in there. It has moments of humor, lots of action and adventure, and plenty of romance. It is a very good thing that Emilia, our heroine has studied Scottish history. She was able to adapt to the time period pretty good. She did have some difficulty with the change in time and battle. The hero, Dougal kept an open mind but, also remained somewhat skeptical, a very good attitude for a leader. I was also intrigued by Fiona. This has a happily ever after ending.

Emilia is a historian from the 2017 and Dougal is a newly appointed laird from the 16th century around the time of Queen Mary. I liked Emilia, she kept a cool head and thought things out logically. Dougal was a hard man, but easy to understand. I love the relationship between the two and the story flowed easily between times. I recommend this book for those who love time travel and a whole lot of Scot.

May I say, the cover could have found a hotter Dougal, It kind of didn't match his description.  I received this book as an Advanced Reader Copy and this is my honest opinion.

This is a review for books 2 and 3 in the Love for all times series. I received these from the author in exchange for an honest review. Book 2 is about Emilia who just isn't statisfied in her life and goes on a vacation to Scotland she is then sucked into the past. I did enjoy the story.
Book 3 on the other hand was not a favorite. I didn’t like that Sorcha got mad that Bryan didn’t want to stay when he did ask her to go. It was kind of annoying having that double standard. I just like these I wasn’t over the moon in love with the series but a solid read.

This is the story of Emilia Guthrie, being a historian and especially of Scottish history, she travelled to explore the ruins of a castle, but when visiting the place where a bloody battle was fort she sees what looks like a Scotsman in a kilt fighting for his life. Suddenly she is in the midst of this battle and she ends up saving his life.
This was the best time travel I have read so far, I loved the characters Emilia & Dougal and how they both and the loveable Fiona who just seems to pop up anywhere. I would recommend this book to anyone and can’t wait to read the next instalment in the “Love for all Times” series by Audrey Adair.

This was an enjoyable time travel romance. In the present time, Emilia is on vacation and exploring the Stonehaven castle. Suddenly she finds herself in the middle of a battle in the 16th century. Dougal is in a battle against the Buchanan clan when a woman suddenly appears out of nowhere. This book was entertaining and I look forward to reading other books by this author.

A American historian of Scottish Highlander history, finds herself transported to the 16th century, amidst a battle no less. Off course, there is the sexy Scottish Laird, that she helps and tames. A bit of drama, sprinkled throughout, with lots of feisty interchanges.
Very good reading, for those who enjoy Scottish Time Travel romances.

Needs better editing

In the middle of the story, the names of the main characters changed from Emilia and Dougal to Emily and Daniel.
