Growing with gangs in the neighborhood, tragedy strikes when his only sibling goes missing. What's a kid to do. Find out in this great MC story. You won't be disappointed. Can't wait to read the next book.

Even though he was born on the wrong side of the tracks, he has a promising future ahead of him. That is until his sister disappears. This is Draven’s story.
Mattern’s voice is strong, her style informal and suitable for her intended audience. Told from Draven’s POV, the reader bears witness to his self imposed downfall from the rage he carries with him. He blames himself for not being able to protect her, she’s all he thinks about and it changes his quality of life. She is the only light in his dark existence and now she is gone.
Becoming a member of the Collider Riders MC is the best thing that could happen to him. In them, he finds family, brothers he so desperately needs to stay sane. Meeting Trilby is a close second best. The heat level between the two of them hits epic levels! Her feisty personality is exactly what Draven needs to keep him out of trouble, mostly.
This novel is well written and hits the top ten of the best I’ve read in this genre. There is a trigger warning. This story is deliciously dark in nature. Human trafficking plays a part and all the nasty things that come with it. It’s an MC book; drugs, sex, & murder are kind of a given.

P. Mattern even writes 5 star MC Books!
This genre is a new one for P. Mattern, and she aces it! This MC story is about loyalty, family, sharing and love! Even though Draven joins a rough and tumble MC Club he finally feels at home. After his sister is snatched by traffickers he is desolate and lost. The Colliders take him in and more or less straightens him out. Mattern has written another story that grabs you right in the beginning and you won’t put it down until you’ve finished it. I loved this book, and kudos to P. Mattern. It appears that she can write in any genre! This is a must read!

WOW!!!
This is the first book of The Evocative Series by P. Mattern that I have read and WOW best describes it. I have to go and read the beginning of this great series. This story could not have been better. You fall into the story before you even know it. The characters are so real you come to think you really know them. You are right there with them experiencing all they do. Mattern is a gifted author. Don’t miss reading any of her books.

I loved this book. I've been waiting g to find out what happens with Skye, will she ever be rescued? What will Dravens future bring... Get Those questions answered and more in book 3 of Beat you Down Series.
