Great romance and compelling characters
Each bear finds their fated mate but the paths are different and unique to each couple. Opposite do attract on Timber Bear Ranch. Each brother has his own attend and flaws but once they accept their fated mate things fall into place.

Great box set about 4 brothers finding their fated mates. Each with hardships to overcome, but with the women who are their other half they will find their way.
All of the characters are well developed and easy to connect with.

What an awesome introduction to this mixture of brothers, each different in their own way, but yet similar, as they fight to retain the ranch left to them by their father, even if it comes with more headaches and problems than it may be worth. Leland Kincaid has been summoned home after the sudden death of his father, only to learn that he has been given majority control of the family ranch, as well as it’s debts and problems. But it doesn’t stop there, as suddenly, the government has seized the ranch’s assets, and is sending an auditor. Sylvia has been awaiting a new assignment after finishing up her last one over a week ago, and after her last attempt at a blind date that her mother set up for her, she’s fuming, almost ready to give up on the men of the human species. She’s decided that this will be her last blind date! Off to Fate Mountain for work, but what awaits her there could possibly change her life forever! When Leland stops in to the brewery for a quick drink to try and forget his new-found problems, he immediately knows his life is about to change…he’s scented his fated mate. Now all he has to do is find her! Will fate shine kindly down on them? Or will they loose it all before they even get a chance to know what it is?

Yet another beautiful short from Ms. Grove. I absolutely love her tales, each with their special circumstances, adorable characters and of course, the happy ever after, and this one certainly fits the description. Jessie swears he’s not in the market for a mate. He knows what happens when you loose your mate, and he’s not going to allow himself to go there. But the pressure from his family is finally sinking in and they convince him to sign up for Mate.com, the website for shifter matches. It doesn’t take long for the program to find his 100% match, his one and only true mate! But she looks familiar! How is it he didn’t know before now that she was his mate? Dana has lived in her own personal hell since her parents died in a car accident when she was only ten years old. Having to live with her great-uncle and his miserable second wife until he traded her with the hyena pack as payment for a family debt, was no picnic, but living as the servant for the Updike clan was even worse. Now that she has absolutely no blood family left, she’s determined to make a break for it. But will her luck change or is she destined to find more of the same bad luck forever? Will she ever find her mate and have a family of her own to love and to love her?
Well written, easy to follow and full of excitement, this is definitely a book you will want to read.

I love box sets. They make it so easy to reread your favourites and are good value for money.
1 - BOSS BEAR
Ms Groves has a descriptive style of writing. Also getting two extra full stories, great value for money.
We are introduced to a group of brothers who seem to need a womans touch very badly.
We now have Hyenas causing problems in Fate Mountain, this is the same Hyena family that had been dealt with before.
I liked Sylvia but she is a bit of a debbie downer with her thinking. She allows a date to act badly and wonders why she has bad luck with men. He needed a good kick in the ****. What is with the mother being mean when she set up the rotten date. I would have been more concerned about my daughter’s safety.
Leland was in a tough place with everything going on, but finding his mate gives him strength to cope with all that is happening.
He tells Sylvia she is his mate and worries that he will not be able to provide for her but they will get through what is happening together.
Leland has just stated all he needed was her but she is thinking he has or will have nothing after the audit and wants a stay at home wife. Thought she wanted kids desperately too?
I did enjoy the resolution to the ranch problems.
Why was Cyrus not at the wedding, which I found very strange, he may be a recluse but not a crazy one. Did he even know about the debt being paid off or seen his new nephew?
Not a bad story and I like the bear brothers but just didn’t feel right to me. I think it was the re-enactment of having too much to drink, then having unprotected sex and ending up pregnant. Best to keep away from that Fate Mountain Lager, it is potent, in more ways than one.
Will be interesting to see the woman Ms Grove comes up with for Cyrus.
CHIEF BEAR is book 1 of Rescue Bears and COMMANDER BEAR is book 1 of Bear Patrol. Both of which have been reviewed separately.
2 - SAW BEAR
I am mixed about this book, not one of the better ones but I loved Buck. I liked it but something about it just nagged at me, maybe it was too simplistic or rushed as a story.
Maria we have met before in Cadet Bear as the younger sister of Rosa. She caused trouble then and is still causing trouble now. Though I sympathise with what she has gone through, which is horrible, once again she does not ask for help from her capable family. I am sure with help she would have been able to control things so much easier.
Loved Buck and thought he was so sweet and supportive but confused about what to do due to his family responsibilities. I really kept cheering him on in his honest pursuit of his mate and his genuine need to help her.
Did like the ending with the rotten lion Alex.
Cannot wait for Jessie to meet his Ms Right, she is not going to like he is a player.
3 - MOUNTAIN BEAR
Did not agree with fate pairing these two.
I can understand the oxymoron of these two opposites attracting but it just did not work for me I am sorry to say.
Cyrus is a real mountain man who loves his solitude and living wild. He quietly longs for his mate but realises he may never meet her.
Along comes the most unlikely spoilt princess of a child and her cute dog.
To pair Cryus with Daisy was just so far out in left field I could not merge them at all. He needed a woman not a spoilt child, even at the end he was giving her a store credit card and a car. Only due to outside factors he has all this cash.
I really struggled to read this once Daisy came into it. I hate spoilt lazy brats and she came across just like that. What a complete ninny of a spoilt princess she was for the first half and just bearable for the second half.
Even after being changed she only nominally was better.
If it wasn’t for the fact I adore these brothers I would not have kept reading.
What the hell was fate thinking, definitely wrong with this pairing even though it was all sweetness at the end.
Fifi was a cutie though.

What an interesting ending to this series. Loved the twist with the Updikes.
Poor Dana, indentured for two years to those horrible hyenas.
Jessie was so funny, fighting finding his mate until he meets her.

Four brothers just got the ranch they've always wanted. There is one catch. Or four. Yep. All the brothers have to find a mate and soon. Each book is a fun romp of one brother's adventure.
BOSS BEAR: Leland and Sylvia
Two people (one is only half human) have lives that are okay, some might say successful. A funeral changes that for both of them. Leland was called home to the family ranch. He'd returned from the war only to do battle with his father and leave—for good he thought. Surprise, even though his brothers remained on the ranch, his father named Leland Alpha/leader/Boss of the family and business.
Sylvia didn't have much luck with the dates her mother kept arranging. In a weak moment, she filled out the Mate.com profile app. However, she was doing well in her professional life. She'd been gaining more and more responsibility as an auditor. Her new assignment brought her to Fate Mountain and Kincaid Ranch. But the Mountain had surprises for in store for both of them first.
A relationship is difficult enough. Add professional opposition, some nasty bad guys to the mix and the success rate drops even more. Will Leland and Sylvia be able to keep their integrity, family loyalties, and form a relationship?
The author has provided some steam, likable characters, series sexy guys to find mates for, and some more bad guys. A good start to a new series with the chance to visit some old friends.

He was the reliable brother who always did what was needed, always helped his other brothers in whatever way they needed. Now it was his turn and he wasn't accepting her answer. Maria woke up in the forest naked and bloody. What happened? She didn't remember how and why. Wasn't her life hard enough? Her past was a terror. Finally, she thought she had a future until she'd become a shifter--a feral one with no control. She'd attacked him when he tracked her to her cave.
Is there any chance for them? Can Buck win her? Will her animal side let him in? When the danger returns, will he reach her, physically and emotionally?
MOUNTAIN MAN:
Good story. Cyrus came back from the war disillusioned and wanting solitude. He left his brothers to the ranch and moved to his one-room cabin in the woods. One thing was missing. A mate. He signed up on Date.com like all the other shifters around.
Daisy had all the free time she could want. She could buy what she wanted and club with her friends. What she couldn't do was go to college or get a job. Her stepfather wouldn't allow it. Little did she know he had plans for her. Marriage to a Hyena shifter she'd never met and knew he wasn't her mate. A trade-off for a shipment of drugs.
Her escape literally put her in the arms of her mate. How could city girl and a mountain bear be together? You'll be surprised at the outcome. There are hard times and both have to grow up and realize what they need to do to be with someone else. Is their other half important enough to make those changes? Their love is touching. The bear is important to Cryus. How will Daisy feel about his bear? Enough to fully accept his shifting? There's a new danger and an old foe. Good characters and a good story. A recommend.
MECHANIC BEAR:
Jessie was the last brother to find his mate. He didn't want one but signed up at Mate.com to get them off his back. He found his match immediately. It couldn't be that easy.
Dana finally was free to escape her captivity by the hyena shifters. A fox shifter, she'd been there as an indentured maid for two years. An engine problem halted her get away. She'd hoped the meeting with her mate would be different. Now would have to do, he was a mechanic. He would help, wouldn't he?
She'd never had any luck since her parent died. Was she going to now? Or would something interfere--again. Could they have their HEA?

I wish I could have gotten all the books in the box set. I read them all one at a time and waiting for the next one to come out. They were well worth the wait.
Boss Bear: This is the first book in the Timber Bear Ranch series. The ranch now belongs to five brothers Leland the eldest, Cyrus, Buck and the youngest Jessie. The ranch has been in the family since his great-great grandfather settled on it. With the death of their father a lot of surprises are coming their way. Not only has Leland been named alpha of the clan, but the ranch is in financial trouble. Leland is not looking forward to the audit coming up.
Sylvia has been picked to do the audit of the Estate. Having arrived early she is looking for something to do. On a whim she signs up on Mate.com and finds a 100% match.
What are the odds her mate match would be Leland? Will the brothers loose the ranch or can Sylvia find a way to save it? What is the biggest secret on the ranch?

In this new series, we met the Kincaid brothers, four strong and sexy bear shifters owners of the Timber Bear Ranch. The Fate Mountain stories had their enchantment and these new addition, the Kinkaid brothers, had their own and in a good dose. An interesting and entertaining series to enjoy with suspense, romance, passion, strong emotions and family ties.

Leland Kincaid was taken by surprise by his father will but he was up to take charge and take the bull by the horns. Having his fated mate with him was the best thing that could happen. Sweet and lovely these couple ways. Entertaining narrations and description, romance, passionate scenes, family bonding and mystery behind the action.

Buck Kinkaid, good, honorable and loyal shifter bear, was desperate. What a nightmare! A mate out of control. What to do? Conflictive emotions, suspense, passion and a feral shifter damage by her past made this an interesting and entertaining story with a good pace and plot development. Liked Buck’s insight, how he visualized the situation and had a plan to deal with it. Suffered for Maria and her low esteem but at the same time liked her determination to be the one to control the animal. Kept me interested all the time waiting for Buck’s next move to deal with what he had sworn to fix. Good character! The good-nature man, eager to help, unselfish, protector and committed with a clear mind of what he had to do. A story about healing, liberating and love.

You couldn't get two more opposite people than our hero and heroine, but fate will have the last laugh.
A short but action packed story that is quite easily read as a stand alone. It will however tempt you to read the others in the series.
A good fun read.

Wow, these are fascinating, well written characters that will fight for their lives and their love. This is an exciting, sexy, and sweet read with a plot that has interesting twists. Fantastic book!

I loved how patient he was once he found her and how determined he was to help her learn to trust again. Cyrus Kincaid is so zen living on the mountain away from everything. A bonified recluse. Daisy Dane is a spoiled little rich mob boss' daughter. The polar opposite of Cyrus. The hyena pack traded drugs to her father for Daisy, but she just wants away. I laughed when she met Cyrus and Fifi, her little yorkie, yapped away at him to protect her. After getting to know her, my opinion changed. She was so much more than just fluff. She found a strength that we didn't know she had. Cyrus has some secrets we learn to make him more approachable. After not getting Daisy things are coming to a boiling point with the hyenas..

Book 1- BOSS BEAR: We're back on Fate Mountain with another group of bear shifters! This time the Kincaid brothers, Leland, Buck, Cyrus & Jessie. Owners of The Timber bear Ranch, trying to get out from under their late father's debt. Sylvia Barker tries her best to help as the auditor doing the paperwork from years past. Leland & Sylvia are fated mates but keeping business & pleasure separate isn't easy. We've got some trouble making Hyenas thrown in to keep things stirred up. Great read!!
Book 2- SAW BEAR: What is a grizzly bear suppose to do when he finally finds his mate and she's a feral lioness? Buck has all the patience in the world to deal with Maria's lion. His bear on the other hand isn't as patient. Maria gets bitten by a feral lion shifter right after she's matched with Buck on mate.com. She can't control the lion at all and attacks Buck at every turn. You'll need to read the one to find out how it all pans out.
Book 3- MOUNTAIN BEAR- A great read in this series with book 3. We have Cyrus, a bear living alone in the mountains ans Daisy. Daisy is being sold to a hyena in exchange for some drugs. Those hyenas have been nothing but trouble in this series but they keep it interesting. Daisy and Cyrus meet at his cabin while she's on the run from her step-dad and future husband. Book 4- MECHANIC BEAR: Loved this story with Dana and Jessie. Jessie, not wanting to have a mate and live a life without her if she was to die, decides he's not even going to bother to begin with. Egged on by his sisters-in-law, he signs up on Mate.com. He is immediately matched with Dana. He's seen her before but can't remember where. Lo and behold, they meet again when her car breaks down as she is running away from the hyena pack that has kept her captive for years. Things heat up fast but trouble is on the horizon when a dead body is found. Great read!! This is my honest review for a book given to me by the author.
Book 2- SAW BEAR: What is a grizzly bear suppose to do when he finally finds his mate and she's a feral lioness? Buck has all the patience in the world to deal with Maria's lion. His bear on the other hand isn't as patient. Maria gets bitten by a feral lion shifter right after she's matched with Buck on mate.com. She can't control the lion at all and attacks Buck at every turn. You'll need to read the one to find out how it all pans out.
Book 3- MOUNTAIN BEAR- A great read in this series with book 3. We have Cyrus, a bear living alone in the mountains ans Daisy. Daisy is being sold to a hyena in exchange for some drugs. Those hyenas have been nothing but trouble in this series but they keep it interesting. Daisy and Cyrus meet at his cabin while she's on the run from her step-dad and future husband. I enjoyed this set about brothers who are bear shifters waiting for their fated mates. They have all waited a long time and eager to bond with their mate once they find her.
Each brother has a unique experience getting his mate. One has been cursed by a witch and has to wrestle with his feelings about finding his mate is a witch too. Another finds his mate running from danger. A third brother needs to heal his mates pain from her loss. One brother believes he may have lost his chance until an accident gives him a second one.
I like that each story is so different but you have the family supporting one another through out the series. The parents are really fun too.

I received this box set with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
I read each of these books when they came out as stand alone books. Each of them is amazing in their own rights but it perfect to read them one right after the other. You read the stories of the 4 kincaid brothers and the women they will either have standing with them or will have torn them to shreds by the end of the book.
You will laugh in these books you will feel things you never knew you would and you will be hooked on each of them. I would highly recommend this box set to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed in this.

A Great Series to Read
Four bear shifter brothers. All four carry trauma from their childhood, the loss of their mother and the abuse of their father. And then the experiences they suffered in the Great War. In this world, shifters have "come out" to humans. There's an uneasy peace with humans, in fact shifters are seen as heroes having helped win the war. But the brothers must solve their life problems. And each finding his true mate makes their lives interesting, challenging and sexy. Each in their own way.

All four books together ,I have bought them separately but when I received this boxed set I sat and reread them all , what a great series with the trouble they all go through to make things work,it is a set I did not want to put down. Do I recommend this set yes.I was gifted a copy and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

Timber Bear Ranch are good stories. They are based on four bear shifter brothers and finding their mates. Each story was different and showed the differences of the four brothers. The stories take place around Fate Mountain, if your read Grove's Rescue Bear or Bear Patrol Series you will see some of the characters from those series. Happy Reading,!!

Shifters with happy endings.
I loved this box set. Each brother has his own issues and they each manage to find their true mates. Each has a challenge to face and hurdles to go through but added steamy romance scenes makes this an amazing box set. I highly recommend this series.

Great series
I enjoyed this series as it follows on from bear patrol and rescue bears it is letting us into the lives of the people who live on Fate mountain which is great. I really enjoyed all the ups and downs these three couples had to get through to have their H.E.A.

Fun Fated Mates books
I enjoyed these 4 books. The stories are more diverse than the Bear Patrol set so I didn’t get bored. I also like that they are set within a family yet each of the brothers is unique.

Ugh, just miserable. I tried to stick it out but had to call it midway. The editing was poor, the story was painful. It felt like it was written at 8th grade level.
