This is a disturbing book. The hero and the heroine are a nice and lovely couple that has a strong marriage until a woman who works with the hero makes very plain to the heroine that she want to have sex with her husband. The heroine tries to warn the hero but he shrugs her off and tells her not to worry since he doesn’t have any intention to have sex with this woman. The woman is manipulative and cunning and manages to be invited at the hero’s house one evening with some friends of theirs. They eat, drink and talk and at a certain point in the evening the heroine goes to bed while the others stays some more. The morning after the hero is I’m bed with ow but says he doesn’t remember anything. He’s horrified and tells the heroine he didn’t have sex with ow but when they watch the security videos they see ow riding the hero. They actually had sex. The heroine is shattered and even if he keeps telling her he doesn’t remember anything she throws him out of their house. This doesn’t last much and they decide they will try to rebuild their marriage. There are other moments of insecurities and childish behavior from both that I won’t be mentioning. Hea. What I didn’t like. I hated that he was abused and it was treated as if he was a nasty cheater. Had it been a woman in his place everyone would be crying rape. He obviously was passed out drunk, his friend testify that they took him in his bedroom and they, with ow, went out of their house. Ow was waiting for a taxi. Obviously this ow waited until he was sleeping hard and until his friends were gone, then she went back to the house and went to his bedroom where she had sex with him. He didn’t even remember. So, when a person is unconscious because of substances and another person that is completely sober has sex with them, for me it’s rape. This woman went into his house with a deception and had sex with a man who was under the influence. Ok, he should not have drunk so much but he was in his house, and his friends helped him to bed, then made sure ow left the house with them. And ok, his wife warned him that ow wanted to have sex with him but my god, who could expect that she was willing to rape him? Because to me sex with an unwilling person, male or female, is rape. She should have been convicted. I am usually on the female side but here it was very clear that he was not conscious, not willing and maybe thought it was his wife but couldn’t even remember a thing. He can’t be kept responsible but he can’t file for rape because he’s a male and his d..k worked so it means he was willing. This is unfair and unethical. And ok, the heroine was pissed but I wish she were on her husband’s side because there’s no way that he was responsible for a madwoman who decided to furtively sneak into his bed, in his house, while he was passed out drunk, deceiving everyone, and forcing him to have sex with her. I don’t like that he drunk so much but he was in the safety of his house and anyway it’s not an excuse for him to be raped. We are always fighting for the right to be dressed how we want, to behave as we like and to say no whenever we want so why the same thing shouldn’t be valid for men? It would be hypocritical of me to keep him responsible of being abused, just because this woman he was working with said that she wanted to have sex with him. This was a very biased pov. The man was obviously shocked and hurt. Nobody seemed to consider that something very bad happened to him too. It may be the first time I am with a cheating hero but this is not cheating it is rape.
====================== They both knew OW wanted him, and even so they invited her to their house. Dumb move. OW took the opportunity to have sex with him, who was intoxicated but actively participated. They opened up an opportunity for a whore to ruin their relationship.
Likes: ✔️ This sucked me in immediately. I read it in one sitting. ✔️ I felt the heroine's anguish. Just thinking about it now...😱 She was going crazy with jealousy. As the reader, I was too! ✔️ I loved how much Becky & Eric loved each other. College sweethearts. Married 3 year, still in honeymoon phase. So smitten. ✔️ The hero was picture-perfect. A hot young lawyer deeply in love with his wife. ✔️ The other woman (Eric's co-worker) was psychotic. I enjoyed hating her a lot. ✔️ The angst was insane. I loved it. ✔️ The hero groveled and sobbed. Yes! 🙌🏻 ✔️ HEA .
Ramblings: ✖️ I can understand why Becky thought she should invite the OW to a dinner party at their house, but still, fuck that! I would have stuck my fork in her face. Why risk prison? 😂 ✖️ How could Becky try to put the horrible incident behind them so soon after it happened? I don't care that the OW practically raped Eric, that he was apparently extremely intoxicated and she took advantage of him, I don't care! I mean, okay I do care, but come on! Right away they tried *acting* like everything was going to be okay between them. It was certainly not okay. The details of that incident are just too gut-wrenching. Gah! ✖️ And that therapist they went to SUCKED. Essentially telling Becky to get over it and move on with her marriage quickly, during the first session. These fictional therapists I've been reading lately in romance books are ridiculous. I want to hit them. ✖️ Question: Is it bad I wanted Eric to suffer a lot more? 🤔 The man was intoxicated, had no memory of what happened between him and the OW. She basically broke into his bedroom to screw him. But according to the video, it looked like he still participated. I don't know how I should feel about that detail. I'm torn between seeing him as a victim and still wanting to blame him. Maybe it's my jealousy still raging. ✖️The OW was allowed to attend the office BBQ at their house!! Kill me now. AND they were amicable towards her. I can't even. It bugged me how passive they were towards her. The confrontations they did have were not enough. ✖️ A side couple steals story time. Ugh ✖️ No epilogue

It's not always about you ... is the huge take away I got from Remi Wild's Some Wives Do...Whatever it Takes. Even when a sociopath threatens to destroy the most important thing in your world, you can discover when the smoke clears just how small your world can be compared to the world around you.
Just the same, Wild pulls you into Rebecca's world and while you're in between the pages, that's all that matters. The author does a great job of keeping the tension up right along with the steamy sex scenes. Wild creates a unique and compelling drama about a woman who becomes obsessed about losing her husband to another woman ... and for good reason. It's one of those stories that forces you to wonder how you might react if faced with the same situation, definitely a conversation story for a book club.
Character is huge in Some Wives Do... The four main characters are very different from each other, but interact in realistic and authentic ways, and it's satisfying that they all evolve as the novel progresses, even the sociopath. The last 30 percent of the book was completely unexpected and well-played by the author. I found myself firmly planted in the main characters shoes and was as shocked as she was. Some Wives Do... gets you to thinking, and that's always a good thing. Five Stars.
I'm not sure if this book has 2 entries, but my review didn't show up so I'm going to paste again.
5 "Die Fiona" Stars I've had my eye on this bad boy for awhile now; the title alone had me rubbing my palms together… it screams shitastic crazy-train… so when I saw this on scribd…. I snatched it up, and gobbled that shit down like chocolate pudding. YUM! The “hubs cheating” trope can go a couple of ways, and this is the OTT dramatic "Dynasty" version, not the heavy gut-wrenching variety.
Becky has been married to her soul-mate Eric for 3-years; they are happily married with an awesome sex life. While visiting her hubs (lawyer) office she overhears a woman on the phone stating her plans on pursuing and claiming a married man in the office… and you guessed it... we figure out her sights are set on Eric!! Let me just say that Fiona is one of the evilest OW skanks I’ve read in a while. HOLY SMOKES, I absolutely LOVED hating her… she’s the worst… it’s awesome.
I don’t want to give away spoilers so I’ll just say the “cheating” is in the gray. There're enough spoiler reviews out there if you're dying to know, but Eric didn't intentionally make a choice to cheat, and consent wasn't given. Regardless, it happened, so they have to work through all the fallout. I'm sure many readers will have different reactions, but this isn't a book where the H is pining or tempted by an OW. He's borderline traumatized, and remains committed to Becky throughout. We’re left in the dark a bit as to the extent of details (it happens off page), and I still have questions myself. Unfortunately, these two totally underestimated the level of determination/effort Fiona would go to get what she wants... it's like a game to her... they were outmatched.
Bottom Line- I can be weird in what I find entertaining, and I love train-wrecks that put me through the ringer. It’s not deep and angsty, but it’s a drama-llama roller coaster that had me chanting “Oh Shit” and “you dumb ass” and "Grrr" throughout. I think it will appeal mostly to Drama Queens and soapy lovers; those that won't take it too seriously, and enjoy the ride. The secondary couples are good also. In the end, good defeats evil… and HEA's are achieved😊 I wish we'd had Eric's POV, and I would've liked to see Fi get hers, but overall, I inhalled this one.

The buildup is great and the plot seemed to be evolving into a great dom-thriller whodunit! But sadly ends on a whimper ...
The beginning is intriguing as the it's the h's sexy ex who features a lot (sexy doctor and she as his nurse), and the hot and sweet husband whom she so adores makes a late entry. The two men are ex-bffs - one who betrayed her and the other who picked up the pieces three years ago. Add a very very caricatured ow - her husband's evilly acquisitive co-worker who openly throws the gauntlet in the h's face--save your marriage if you can! Sending the h into a hyperventilating tizzy. She tries to get her bff, her ex and even the husband on board in warding off the evil woman. But strike she does! But what really happened!???
Oh let's not forget the h's bff, a third (or fourth/fifth)wheel in the story with a triumph of her own.

I wish that there could have been more done to the OW than absolutely nothing. Seriously she almost ruined a marriage, and she gets to keep her job and is dating a senior partner?? Plus there is no way in hell if I invited someone into my house does get get away with acting the way this ow did and sleeping with the husband. At the very least I would have thrown her down the stairs and out of the house back naked. This h was beyond a spineless creature. She just laid down and took what ever the ow dished out. The only thing she did do right was kick the husband out. And seriously..... how the hell does this woman still have her job. His father is senior partner there are code of ethics in place for stunts like this that tramp tried to pull. She would have been black listed in her professional field and no one would have touched her with a ten foot pole...... especially in a male dominated field like his was. Lawyers do know how to protect themselves. He had a video, he was drunk, he had witnesses. That alone would have at the very least lost her job. I hate that this ow got nothing as far as karma goes.

Don’t read this one if you are at all sensitive to infidelity. This one is profoundly disturbing for reasons I am not quite clear on. It’s horrifying. You’ve been warned.

I liked very much how the tension was built. Good writing. The book was never boring. I don’t buy the husband was that innocent. I mean we should be convinced because he was the one who wanted to see the tape but I think this alcohol induced amnesia is an convenient excuse. It is certainly exploited in books. I mean he wasn’t so inebriated that he couldn’t perform . Some of his actions , how he behaved around the OW during the evening were in the gray zone. It seemed that on some level he was tempted. He didn’t take an active initiative to stray and his defenses were definitely weakened by alcohol. The total black out, that he didn’t remember anything yet still was capable to have sex - I don’t think it happens that often. Then why didn’t he first watch the tape alone and make her watch with him? Was he so sure that he didn’t do anything or did he want her to trust him that he didn’t remember? I would like some more repercussions on the OW and the husband after the party when he was “so polite” to OW after their indiscretion. It was too much about that revenge kiss. He should be cold and firm with OW. I wish it was pointed out more. I mean how anyone can stomach to be polite to a home wrecker that ALMOST DESTROYED ONE’S MARRIAGE ? The H is a beta character. Leo is more an alfa. I liked the angst and the story progressed nicely. It was fun to read.

I've been trying to put my finger on why I'm dissapointed in this boook. The writing is actually pretty good and the plot's an interesting one but, in my opinion, somethings definitely missing. I don't think I'll be giving anything away to say there's cheating involved, although I'm not really sure that I would use that term. In my opinion, this author should have delved more deeply into the circumstances and results of the incident. Maybe then it would have been a more interesting read, and may have felt less anticlimactic. Dissapointing!
Some Wives Do...Whatever It Takes By: Remi Wild, Ravenna Young Narrated by: Adelaide Skye
This story is so realistic, I became complete immersed in it. When you have been scorned, it is hard to trust again, so when a beautiful woman has her eyes set on her husband, Rebecca becomes completely obsessed with what could happen. Remi Wild and Ravenna Young takes us through Rebecca's life as she learns to deal with her past, her present and her future. There is no sugar coating, and we see how absorbed she becomes. I could only listen and feel her mistrust, her fear and her hurt. Her feelings are so evident that as a listener, I was questioning Eric's story right along with her. I loved how Wild and Young includes different courses of action to deal with this, the way it is not easily resolved and the results of strong love. I enjoyed this steamy, angsty listen.
Adelaide Skye is new to me, and I loved her narration. She becomes the characters, gives her all to the emotion of this book. Her voice is well paced and she hones in on the personality of each person, so they are very realistic. I will be watching for more by her.
I had the pleasure of receiving this book on Audible from the Author. Becky is an OR Nurse and her husband Eric is a lawyer. At the firm, there is a new member Fiona who has her eye on Eric. Becky and Eric are a married in love couple. But Fiona does not care. She goes to extreme measures to get to Eric. I enjoyed this book because it is relatable. It has a good story line, and the characters and the ending were also good, to help this story along. I also love happily ever afters!
A short read it held my attention, as cheating stories generally do. The H was believable in his I was drunk excuse, but he was also weak in his behaviour around the ow. And who lets the ow back in the house even if its under the guise of a company bbq when clearly that should have been a strong no.
This was a well written short read. I know, intellectually, that this was a sweet story. But, it actually ripped my heart out. I don't avoid cheating in the stories that I read, but this one was really painful for me.
Let me begin this with review with I do not like to read about cheating. I decided to listen to this audio because of the title. When a co-worker goes after her man and she is devastated. One drunken night changes everything. Here is where I was ready for some story line to play out. I felt the author missed out on the opportunity to really delve into the building up a relationship after the worst happens. Instead it was resolved too quickly and not as satisfying as i was hoping for. The bones of the story was good but lacking depth. And on the note of cheating...The Bi**h that went after my man would never be allowed in my home. And coming from this southern girl, I would have taken her out into the alley and "Bless Your Heart" all the way to the trash can. It would have been more satisfying ending for me. This is my first book by this author. I received this audio book in exchange for my honest opinion
IMO the H was raped this Ow left the house and then snuck back in. She was fatal attraction crazy and the H didn't stand a chance. Should he have listened to his wife and her concerns yes but he honestly had no desire or intention to cheat. He was raped and I honestly dont like how he was shamed and punished for it

This is a rollercoaster of emotion. There are ups and downs just like real life! It shows the strength and resilience a marriage can have when you have the right balance between the couple. Well written. Excellent narration.
I was really into this book. But… Their so called perfect marriage and love was so consumed with jealousy distrust and boundary crossing with coworkers I honestly dont know how they made it.
She was angry with her husband for working a case with ow. Yet she stood in a towel and let her ex/coworker flirt with her? Always checking him out and thinking how sexy he was. Eric always hugging and putting his hand on ow’s lower back. They were both so inappropriate.
Also, He knew what the wife overheard yet he continued to engage with the OW. I mean for gods sake he invited the woman to his house and got drunk with her!!!!! He was setting himself up for failure.
Idk.. I feel kind of meh about this book. The forgiveness felt forced.

First let’s just put this out there. I HATE Fiona and I want to strangle Eric. Now with that said bless Becky’s heart. I hurt for her. Eric should have been more careful and he should have listened to his wife and none of it would have happened. This story had sadness, heartbreak, disparity, healing, forgiveness, happiness and above all love. What more can you ask for in a story. Read this it’s awesome.
Quite the drama!... but with a realistic plot and setting that is not only entertaining to read but also helps the reader to empathize with the dilema faced by couples in such a situation as in this story.
An enjoyable read with moments of steamy passion, sweet tenderness and a love strong enough to weather any storm.
This is the lamest story I've ever read. She's so insecure and crazy in sane with jealousy that it's ridiculous. And that's all before her husband cheated on her. The whole story rushes past everything without giving anything any real value to happened in it. Total waste of time! It had such potential to a great story to.
The book start fine but at one point it feels like someone told the author hurry up an finish tomorrow… and she did. Just in the moment the things get interesting… everything end… pity because I liked the plot and the characters but it just fell too rush, no depth.
A short read about an evil other woman who tries to break up a marriage. To me, a little unrealistic but enjoyable to watch the heroine lose it and try to get a grip knowing the OW has her sights on her hubby. Wish it was drawn out a little more, but it probably wasn't meant to be.
