Ocean Commander
By Jonathan Cross.

A ghostly tale of survival, courage, the Spirit of the sea, and the adventures of the Ocean Commander.

As the sun rises over the now calm ocean, the only sound is that of the waves as they lap gently on the hull of the ship. The Commander stands alone on the bridge looking out to sea, wondering how all this happened. Why did he survive when others did not, what is that Spirit on that desolate island?

His thoughts are brought to a stop, as the smell of fresh coffee wafts up from the galley. The very special, and talented crew is starting to stir, four women, two men and, The Commander.

This is the story of survival, when all was lost, a ship, but not just any ship, a crew, but not just any crew, a ghost, but not just any ghost. A desert island in the middle of the ocean, that has its own secrets, pirates, drug smugglers, gun runners, and of course the Ocean Commander.

A story that from start to finish will have you captivated, wanting to know what comes next, fast moving and ever changing, a story with something for everyone, and some unexpected twists!

This is the story of The Ocean Commander.

I loved this adventure story of a sole survivor of a plane crash who washed up on an island with a resident ghost, the spirit of an old commander. It’s full of action & discoveries & miraculous physical recoveries. The intrigues of gun smugglers & drug dealers add to the strength of the story & it’s just so exciting. Its a fairy-tale like ending, but the good guys R in the majority so it’s a nice & happy ending.
I needed this lovely story.
BUT .....
A major complaint is the poor editing. Grammatical errors. Spelling errors. Redundancies. Switching from first person to third person in the midst of a dialogue. Just plain shoddy work from the publishers.
So I Googled them & they R a self publishing company. I guess we get what we pay for. It’s such a shame bc the story, the characters, the plot R well done. Just this horrible editing.

I still gave it 5 stars.
