"Beautifully fresh and honest. Covers everything from love to leggings." Rae Earl
"This book is as warm, lovely and wise as Katie is." Holly Smale
Do you have a problem? Stressed about school? Fallen put with friends? Unhappy with your appearance? Feeling sad or worried all the time? Questioning your sexuality? Then this book is for you, or even if you don't have those problems. TV and radio presenter Katie thisleton has been there and dealt with it. Answering questions from kids, Katie will assist you with all sorts of situations. Also containing advice from Dr Radha Modgil and therapist Sally Angel, you will be on your way to dealing with your issues. I would recommend this book to people age twelve plus as it involves more mature content.
This was more basic than I thought. It's written for teens and I thought I might gain some insight into those troubled years, and I did, but as I'm now past those years in my family, I've sent it to charity for it to help a troubled soul who needs Katie's (and the professionals in the book as well) wise words :)
Middle grade non-fiction that focuses on mental health and issues of confidence, sexuality, bullying, grief and more. Perhaps a little repetitive in parts but presented positive messages in a friendly manner.
My daughter was sent this book by Toppsta and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
She has yet to read it all and review it but I have looked through it. In this book Katie Thistleton, a doctor and a psychologist are helping children with their problems.
I think this is a great book for children to dip in and out of especially if they themselves or their friends are having issues. Obviously talking to a parent or trusted adult with any problems would be the best idea but not always an option.
