When we talk about making a ‘grant writing’ it refers to the practice of completing an application process for funding provided by an institution such as a corporation, foundation, among others. As the introduction rightfully suggest, this is ‘not an in-depth discussion on the grant writing process. It is deliberately short in order to offer you support and guidance to get the job done’. While I didn’t know much of this specific subject, I found it to be easy to understand, the title is right on point, is a clear, simple and concise guide for anyone who makes an attempt to make a grant writing, you should definitely have to give this book a look, it will provide you with every necessary tool for your success and as I mentioned before, not only is easy to understand but also it has a lot of additional and optional information for you, so it’s a phenomenal opportunity if you are interested in this topic, you should buy this book.
This is a great guide for writing a grant. Writing a grant is the process of submitting an application for funding from a financial institute. This book takes you step by step through the process from beginning to the final completed process. I would recommend using this guide if you are ready to submit an application and write a grant. Well written and easy to follow.
Some decent, basic information. Lacks examples and a bit too brief. I read this book for a technical writing class I am taking in college, and we have to write a grant application for a real nonprofit for our final project. I am left with many questions and do not feel very prepared to tackle the grant writing project.
Caroline Savage gives excellent advice on how to write a find grants to apply for and how to write a successful grant proposal. I would recommend this book to any aspiring grant writer.
