Dwayne Hollingswell became a rare commodity in Memphis. Intelligent, young, black, handsome, a steady income, and the makings of a successful financier in Memphis. If you met him you felt honored to be in his presence because it was like watching a unicorn drink rainbow colored water out of a rambling stream flowing peacefully through the hood. Different to the point that you’d instill fantasy by naming him the 8th wonder of the world. He’d known he was different since the age of fifteen. None of his thoughts and questions were ever satisfied and his mind was far ahead of other boys his age, neither bothered him. While they hid, and drooled over a magazine’s big butt beauty of the week, Dwayne was making candlelit dates with money. As a spiritual man, he knew better than to love money. His grandmother had drilled it in to him, but he hadn’t realized he could get lost in its Toxins as he gave money his utmost respect. With no love interest in sight, Dwayne made his nuptials with his financial portfolio. With all the mistakes he’d made with women in the past, it was the freest option…Nivea Bowen was on the hunt to have it all. She didn’t mind sweating for it or even shedding tears. After years of fighting her way to the top of her class at an Ivy League school, she had her heart set on IPO-ing her company before its fifth anniversary. She was losing the battle against time and needed to focus on building her dynasty.Growing up with a single mother on the west coast had taught her some important things. Specifically, what she didn’t want in life. And depending on her mother’s mood on that Sunday, it was touched with a little religion too.Once she realized that her king would come to her, she slept with success until her king came knocking. However, she didn’t realize how thick the Toxins that lingered from getting her feet wet, would be. What queen really needs a king to rule, anyways…When Dwayne and Nivea finally decide it’s safe to take off their masks to get a whiff of love, can they handle the small inhalations of each other’s Toxins, or will the Toxic fumes they inhale be them getting whiffs of their own?
About the Author: Raynesha Pittman grew up as one of L.A's many troubled youth which led her into serving four years around Los Angeles juvenile corrections centers, placements, and camps. She first recognized her love for writing while incarcerated. Her first manuscript was written to her mother in hopes of giving her insight to what Raynesha was going through as a teen but never published. One positive Raynesha had during her troubled years was book smarts, her ticket out of the hands of correctional facilities. She was an honors student since kindergarten, certified gifted in the third grade, and was sent to Woodland hills, CA for a more challenging education, yet she had to be placed in Honors classes there too. Her temper and fighting had her removed from the enriched schools but that didn't stop her. She crossed the stage as the valedictorian of her high school a month after turning 16 years old, her graduation credits were meet at 15 and she received acceptance letters to five out-of-state private institutions of higher education which she later declined offers to due to still being on probation until 18 years of age and not being able to leave the state. California State University at Los Angeles and Northridge accepted her last minute application with open arms. While attending school, she discovered she was pregnant and decided to put her role as a mother first. After carrying her second child she moved to TN for a new start with her sons and received her PTCB national certification in July 2010 after 3 1/2 years of being a licensed Pharmacy technician. It was while working in a pharmacy she met Michael Antonio of Payne Publishing, Inc., who encouraged her to write a book. She took his opinion to heart and wrote her debut novel "Kismet". Raynesha currently lives in TN with her, “Roq” and six children.
Professionally: Raynesha Pittman is the CEO, Founder and an author at Conglomerate Ink, an Urban Literature publishing company established November 2010 to help authors expose and share their talents of storytelling while developing discipline in their craft. Wroten by joining the West Coast Authors Movement also known as W-CAM where Raynesha not only fills the position of an author on the team but is also over website design and management and acts as W-CAM's Southern liaison due to her living in the South. Her greatest literary achievement came in January 2014 when she was signed to Write2Eat Concepts publications under the legendary K'wan Foye. From there possibilities became endless. Raynesha currently has two books in stores under Kensington/Urban Books, another due to release in March 2017 under Kensington/ Urban Renaissance and Penguin/Random House and one title in stores under her own publishing company. She says, “…this is only the beginning.”

In 2015 Raynesha was nominated for Journalist of the year in the Southern Entertainment Awards.
#TOXIN by Raynesha Pittman & #QuinceyBowen tells the story of Dwayne Hollingswell & Nivea Bowen. Both CEO’s, living the good life, carefree but toxic when it comes to love. At first I thought I wouldn’t be able to get into this book because it was speaking about the stock market & I thought it would bore me. I was wrong! Toxin may make you wanna check out the stock market. It’ll probably have you looking for a man like Dwayne Hollingswell. As fictional as he may be, he’s a well put-together working man, living right that is also taking care of his health & believes in God. Yes, he has his issues. Who doesn’t? The problem is his crazy ex who is absolutely delusional but, this isn’t about her. The book will tell you more about her. I found it odd that Nivea was running an all female company until I learned more about her “habits”. Then I thought it was best (LOL) Nivea has her own issues but doesn’t see a problem. Then she meets Dwayne & there is chemistry but both have these “rules” or I’d say walls they have up. And of course things can’t be that easy. Throw in some strange occurrences, arrests, insider trading, spiked drinks & heart break. Very interesting & different than your regular love story. I really enjoyed this story and definitely recommend you pick this up. #ConglomerateInk
Toxin by Raynesha Pittman and Quincy Bowen is a good read. They did a good job. It's different and education.
Raynesha Pittman and Quincy Bowen explained the laws, rules and characters from Bible in this book. I hope Nivea and Dwayne are example of toxin. I can't wait to read part 2.
This book was very good it’s very educational I learned a lot reading this book I can’t wait to read part 2 to find out what happen I hope Nivea and Dewayne get married and raise their son together
Toxin by Raynesha Pittman and Quincey Bowen is such an interesting read on the topic of relationships (relationships with money, religion, family). The authors did a wonderful job pulling me into Dwayne and Nivea's world and keeping me there to the very end. It left me wanting more!
I can guarantee this book will be a totally different type of read. It’s a mixture of love, finance, scripture, health tips, and motivation all wrapped up in one. The storyline was very well thought out and put together. Character development grabbed your emotions and either you loved or hated the characters. This is certainly a five star read and I’m greatly anticipating more from the authors.
At first the book started off slow but it got interesting toward the middle I can't wait for part 2 to be released only reason I couldn't give this book 5 stars because of all the errors
Wow, this book is amazing different than any other book I have every read. This book was one best collaboration I have read kudos to Raynesha Pittman and Quincy Bowen. That ending wow love it.
