I had two rules in life:

Never fall in love.
Never have sex with a student.

As a college preceptor, you’re not supposed to fraternize with your pupils, but what happens when you get a taste of the forbidden before you know it isn’t supposed to be yours?

That night at Brian’s bachelor party was epic. We danced, I dominated, and she left. One night, no further contact, no regrets, just how I liked it—until she walked into my algebra class the next week and I knew the two rules I had in place had to change.

Never fall in love.
Never get caught having sex with a student.

This will be a naughty student-teacher story! ;) Coming 2022

Filthy Professor is a professor/student romance that will take you on an emotional, angsty, and steamy ride. From their first meeting I knew that Cas and Taylin had the heat between them, but when they were brought back together by fate and they were both dealing with their own emotional turmoils I knew they were going to build something more than a one night stand. Yes, these two go through it. It’s a rollercoaster and there are many people, circumstances, rules, and pasts that get in their way, but yeah… you’ll just have to see how they figure their “forbidden” relationship out and turn it into their HEA. Like I said, rollercoaster 😂

I received an arc in exchange for my honest review.
I found this book thoroughly entertaining because of all the drama. I also loved the dynamic of Taylin's group of friends. The author had multiple sections where she confided in them, and they supported her through thick and thin! It was heartwarming.
I had high hopes for this book, but unfortunately, as a whole, it was a miss for me. Starting with the romance, for more than 50% of the story, Cas was so mean to Taylin I had a hard time believing in their love. Even though we had his POV, I didn't feel any real connection because most of their decent moments surrounded sex until closer to the end of the story. Cas as a character didn't work for me. He took asshole to the extreme. The way he spoke about his ex-girlfriend was jarring, even after finding out why they broke up. He did improve later, but it was too late. The way he interacts with his class, specifically his language, and all the drama unfolding as he's teaching, seemed abnormal. I think it would've made more sense for things to happen on campus but not during his teaching time.
Concerning the plot, I was pleasantly surprised by how original the storyline is. I would've never seen some of that tomfoolery coming. However, it felt underdeveloped because of too many plot points and insufficient time. In addition, the setting seemed very unrealistic for some of the foolishness that happens.
Overall, the drama was entertaining, but the book isn't one of my favorites.
CW: suicide attempts(off-page), miscarriage(off-page), and alcohol addiction.

I want to thank Give Me Books and Niquel for the ARC and the chance to review this book!!!
Okay okay okay! This book is everything I didn’t know I needed! The spice is 1000/5🌶 soo good!!
5/5⭐️ for the whole book!!

He has 2 rules never fall in love and never sleep with a student. But then his world gets turned upside down when Taylin enters his life!

I literally love the main characters and the way Taylin was always there to support Cas. This book is definitely one of my favorites with an age gap and a student-professor!

I was gifted an arc for an honest review! The spice was good in this one! & I really enjoyed the concept.

There were just a few places where It fell short for me. The math used in it irked me more than it should lol. Was no where near college level math and it brought me out of the story. Also was cheesy in parts.

But it was a quick read & enjoyed it for what it was!

This is an ARC review.

This is my first Niquel book and I was really looking forward to it. The premise sounds like a great student/teacher romance that I would love. However, I was a little let down in the end. I have thought about how I would review this for a little before starting on it. I think the best I can do is give my honest opinion.

I respect anyone who writes a book and gets it published. You are all amazing and not every story is going to suit every person. All that being said just because I didn't love this book doesn't mean you won't. So if you like the tropes of student/teacher, forbidden romance, age-gap romance, and drama then please give it a read and decide for yourself.

The book jumps around a bit and sometimes seems to not flow very well. There are lots of flashback scenes to past events that I felt weren't really necessary or too long for their purpose. There were also scenes that involved the MC's with other partners that I felt didn't fit the story. I wanted a lot more of the spice between Caspian and Taylin, he was all alpha and dominant and I wanted to see more of that with her.

It is told in dual POV which I always love and it did give lots of insight into why Cas was such an ass. There is a lot of back and forth between the two which fits the story but I felt sometimes the reactions were not quite fitting with their personalities. There were a few additional characters that popped in and out leaving me a little confused at times too, they were mentioned once and then not again sort of.

All that aside it was an ok story I gave it a solid 2.5 stars and I would say to anyone interested to give it a try.

One night in Vegas Taylin and Cas meet on the dance floor, its hot and they both want each other. But Caspian is a one-and-done kind of lover. He has no intention of getting hurt like he was by his ex. Sex is fantastic but that is all it will ever be. As a teacher at college, he has 2 rules. 1 Do NOT Fall in Love and 2 Never have sex with a student.

Taylin can't believe how the man from Vegas made her feel, she has never felt that before and no matter what a jerk he was she can't stop thinking about him. So imagine her surprise when she walks into her algebra class to find Mr. Wyatt is her Vegas one-night stand.

Cas thinks he's being stalked but soon finds out he's just that unlucky. The woman who bewitched him in Vegas is his student, she is also the reason he hasn't been having sex like he usually does. It seems she cast some spell over him. No matter though, he won't break his rules. They'll just have to deal.

When he stumbles upon Taylin being harassed one night he saves her and takes her away, he tries to keep his distance but fails miserably. He tries to put the breaks back on and put things back the way they were once again by being an ass. Taylin can't decide what is going on with the professor, his hot and cold is just too much. She tries to forget about him, to meet new people but he always sucks her back in.

Cas's personal life is thrown into chaos, his ex is making big waves, his father passes, and Taylin is constantly on his mind. When it starts to get too much he pushes her away again, before reeling her back to him. But it's the student crying loudly that he's dating a Taylin that could cause the final break for him and Taylin.

If he loses the job that he loves he will have nothing stable in his life, if he loses Taylin he could be giving up something important. Can Taylin even forgive him for pushing her away again? Is it all too late to matter?

Happy Reading.

If you are looking for a naught student-teacher story then you don't need to look any further than Filthy Professor. I would say this is a very taboo book too. It is the story of Cas who is the preceptor in the college class and Taylin who is the student. Though when he meets her at a party he has no idea that she is going to be one of is students. He just knows she is a young lady who gave him one of the best nights of his life. So you can imagine when she walks into his algebra class how he wasa felling. I bit his heart hit his toes and he was about to panic and she was a puddle of there he is again I must have him melting goo. I really liked both of the characters and I loved the story she had to all. I really love reading this book and if you like forbidden student teacher romances you will too.

Before I start this review I want to give a big thank you to Niquel for giving me this opportunity to receive an ARC of Filthy Professor! It was especially nice to read a book with a black heroine during BHM!

I think my favorite aspects of this book was the banter between Taylin and Cas and the drama! When I first started this read I was wary of Cas because I don’t like hero’s who are assholes to the heroine after their first hookup but as I got deeper in the book his love life background made me understand his character more. Besides the mc’s romantic relationship the drama is what really made this book a page turner for me. Between Taylin and Cas’ friends it was heartwarming to see Taylin’s friends fully support her decisions but still give her honest advice.

Out of everything in this book I loved how Taylin stood her ground no matter what happened between her and Cas. While I wish there less going back and forth between her other love interests and Cas I do respect her emotional maturity to tell the men that she was involved with someone else. I will admit that I was torn between if I liked Cas or not but seeing his growth at the end of the book made me realize that before everything he was truly heartbroken and needed help putting the pieces of his heart back together.

In terms of spice ❤️‍🔥 I loved every bit of their moments together! For the amount of spice in the book I give it a 3/5 but their sexual tension throughout the whole book is 5/5! If you’re looking for a taboo/forbidden relationship, age-gap, interracial romance I would definitely check Filthy Professor out

Cas & Taylin love story is a forbidden romance and yes he has 2 rules in his life...Well as the saying goes rules are meant to be broken 😆

Let's just say these two started with a HOT STEAMY one night stand & are reunited again in force proximity of a classroom at Warren University...oh dear and he a professor of maths! {Me & Maths hate eachother😂 }

Professor Wyatts says to "you don't have to dumb yourself down to fit in" She is genius with numbers and his class is mixed of student wanting to learn & the other half just want eye candy Professor. Which piss him off and makes his ego a big at the same time. Do not worry Taylin brings him back down go earth and not afraid to talk back ! Cas is a well know womanizer amongst his friends and Maths Professor with a good heart...
"That means that deep down, your inner asshole can be suppressed."😂

Taylin is a fantastic female character. She not afraid to show her love for maths and when bitch girls talk 'bitchy' to her she not afraid to put them in her place. Do not mess with Taylin she feisty and smart.

I love Professor Wyatts side teaching with Taylin...🥵 & first lesson starts with a shower...no spoilers

"It's called an orgasm sweetheart. If you've never had one, that means you've never been with a real man."
(Raise your hand ladies if you haven't meant a real man)

Purely based on my personal opinion:

'Filthy Professor' was high angst, I think the story itself was good and the chemistry between Caspian (MMC) and Taylin (FMC) was obvious, this book was quick and easy to read. However for me personally there was a little too much back and forth, on again off again for my liking. Aside from their relationship, this book has so much more; drama, talks of miscarriage and cheating, alcoholism, mention of abuse, these events shape the characters throughout the book and lead us to understanding them more, some parts did feel a little rushed but overall this was a good read.

"That's a good girl. Let everyone hear how good I'm fucking you."

What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas. What is Cas to do when his one and done from Vegas shows up in his classroom? He has rules in place for a reason, he can get away with one rule as he didn't know she was his student when they had their fun. But now that he knows they can't ever cross that line again. But neither Cas nor Taylin seem to be able to deny the pull toward each other. Will Cas break more of his rules?

I was so excited for this story, with a few of my fav tropes: taboo, age gap, super hot naughty bits. But as excited as I was for this, it falls a bit short for me. I found it very hard to even tolerate Cas. I'm not going to bash the book, just say that it wasn't for me and I give it 3 stars.

She’s BACKKKK!!

Niquel is back and what a story she gives us. Filthy Professor is a taboo student/teacher romance that lives up to the title.

This book is raw, this book is deep and this book is spicy! I’m talking get a fan because these two heat up the pages.

Who knew she would be in his class after one night together. A Professor and his student? That goes against his rules. But there was just something about her that he couldn’t let go.

We go on a journey of letting down walls that are built up. Learning to trust again. Learning that it is okay to love again. It might be a little bumpy but it’s all worth it.

Highly recommended.
Thank you to Niquel for having me on this journey with her. She back y’all and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Niquel is one of my one-click authors. She hasn't written a book in a little bit so when I saw this one was coming out I was like finally and knew I had to read it as soon as I could. Filthy Professor is a good read. It's a spicy teacher-student romance. Cas has two rules never fall in love and never have sex with a student. I love books where the main character has rules upfront because it's fun to read on and see him break his rules. Taylin is a great character and the one who makes Cas break his rules. Both Cas and Taylin were great characters. This one was a page-turner and I recommend one-clicking it.

This student/professor tale for me is high angst and a healthy dose of what the heck. The story itself is good and the chemistry between Caspian and Taylin is obvious. There was a little too much back and forth for my liking and the story was a bit choppy for me. However just because it wasn’t my particular cup of tea doesn’t mean it won’t be great for you. If you’re a fan of student/teacher and are good with the back and forth this book will be a good fit. As I said, the story is good which is why I still give it 4 stars, just not my style.

WOW!!!

Niquel BLEW ME AWAY with this naughty story!! I loved the push/pull between Cas and Taylin! I was sucked in from the very first page and found myself invested in the brewing relationship between these two. The supporting cast of characters were great and I was left wanting to learn more about them...especially Carlos & Emilia, Anna & Jay and of course Chantelle.

If you are looking for an amazing story with some hot sexy scenes Filthy Professor will not disappoint!! Niquel has given her readers a fantastic book that I highly recommend!!

First I would like to thank Give Me Books and Author Niquel for the ARC.

I am going to write this review without any spoilers.

Hot College professor, yes, please! I enjoyed this book. The characters were mostly likable, except for a select few. This book did hit on some heavy topics, but it didn't drag them out. Though there were some parts where I wanted to yell at both main characters, I did refrain! The spice was good, though I wish there was more. But I do recommend this book.

I was completely blown away by this one, the latest works from Author Niquel.
I fell in love with the characters from the beginning. I couldn't get enough of Taylin and Cas, plus both of their "posse's".
The way this book played out you got to see the things both went through before they met, then how they grew.
It had the perfect mix of sex for me, not to mention it wasn't an insta love. I really don't like an insta love. The ending was perfect.
I can't wait for the next book.

One hot night together, no regrets, until she walks into his algebra class where he is a professor, and his world is tilted on its axels. This is a well written taboo student / teacher romance, which is dark, raw, gritty, intense, with emotions, twists, trust, and an age gap which leads to a steamy addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Filthy Professor by Niquel. This is the story of Taylin and Cas.
Cas and Taylin have a one night stand and they both seemed to think 'one and done' but sometimes fate has other plans. Taylin finds this when she walks into her class to find Cas there as the Professor. Both try to go past what they felt and what they are feeling but neither can walk away. This was a great hot Teacher/student romance. I hope to read more books by this author.

Taylin and Cas meet and have a one night stand. They never thought they’d see one another again but that changes when she walks into his classroom at college. Cas is her new professor! Still attracted to one another , these two must navigate toward a relationship that causes problems in their lives.
Filthy professor is hot and steamy. I loved the characters and the story. Well written and one to devour

This review is a little hard for me to write because I really wanted to love this book as it was an ARC and the author is a sweetheart but unfortunately I had to dnf at 45%. The writing style just wasn’t for me and I found myself to be very annoyed while reading - I felt like I was forcing myself to read it. It’s a shame because the premise is really interesting but I didn’t like either main character and the dialogue made me cringe sometimes…

First to be honest - I chose this book because of the hunk on the cover!!! I’m familiar with this model because he’s on mine. Great cover 😊 Enjoyed the flow because it takes you away from your everyday life. Cas he treated her like crap - let’s face it most men who don’t want to admit anything to themselves do - intentional or not! He was a bit extreme in his classroom but I think it was him coming unglued to his reality coming to face. I liked it! Well done.

This book just stole my heart and I was I love with the every word the author showed. We could see that she poured her heart into it.

The pace and plot of the book was over the tab fabulous and so great that I can't explain it. It's chaotic and beautiful and the chemistry between them was over the top fabulous. I loved it and I can't wait for more from them

2 Stars!

Unfortunately, this book just didn’t click for me. I didn’t find the main characters likeable and found it hard to buy into their chemistry. The supporting characters had me rooting for them more! There was a bunch of drama in this though, so I was never bored, but it seemed like drama for the sake of drama.

Aaarrgghh, I really wanted to like it. The starting seemed great..I think this should have been a novella. There was too many things happening all at once. I got a whiplash while reading it. The guy was a complete idiot. I couldn't understand their story at all. I hated not finishing the book so I skimmed through some.

I don’t think you could find a more emotionally damaged man than Cas. All that hurt and drama made him a real asshole. But somehow, he found Taylin. Their one night stand turned into a story of healing, perseverance, and love. If you need a happy ending, try this. It doesn’t hurt that their chemistry was off the charts! 😁

I really liked this book, the relationship between Caspian and Taylin is so cute, I just am not a fan of the third act break-up which here there is.

But I loved their story, the FMC is super cool, she just knows what she wants, Caspian has some though trauma, but I am happy he overcame it and accepted Taylin’s love.

Their development as characters and as a couple is everything❤️‍🩹

This is an age gap, professor/student, forbidden romance book. A one night stand in Vegas becomes a problem when Taylin walks into the college class Cas is teaching. Cas makes it a point to not be involved with students but he’s drawn to Taylin.

To be honest, they are both a little immature in my opinion. There were several times that I screamed at them to get a grip. However, it all eventually makes sense. Taylin is still in her “I’ve still got some immaturity” years. Cas uses it as a coping mechanism. They both have a strong friend group to help them navigate through it all.

Besides their roller coaster relationship, this book has so much more. Drama, talks of miscarriage and cheating, alcoholism, mention of sexual assault. All of those events shape the main characters throughout the book and lead us to understanding them more. Some parts felt a little rushed but overall this was a good read.
