Alternate cover edition of ASIN B074RMQD6L

When you are pushing your life, love, and mission to the breaking point…

Time flew for the Purgatory organization, and even if its founder, Beatrice Dante, is never far away, Gabrielle Thorne is now in charge of the teams. But such a position comes at a price for the former assassin.
Her strength is wearing thin, and her relationship with her husband Sullivan is on the rocks. Pushing every warning sign aside, Gabrielle calls out the team for a mysterious mission at Beatrice’s request. With Sully, Mac, Wes, Dee and Owen by her side, and, of course, Lance, they quickly realize that their mission is going south from the start, and that every step is not only leading them in the wrong direction, but a shadow is keeping an eye on them along the way.
And for Gabrielle, her next decisions may mean the end of her life as she knows it.

For the first time, the Purgatory reunites in a novella.

A fast-paced, standalone novel. No need to have read the previous stories although you may find Breaking Point even more enjoyable!
Fiery powerful women, sexy alpha males and a guaranteed HEA, impossible to ask for more! :-)

This was my first read by this author and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the fast paced plot, crime fighting action, and romance. From what I understand this book is a combination of the stories, characters, and relationships of the women of Purgatory set in three previous novels. I'm definitely intrigued enough to want to read the others and have already added them to my tbr list.

Purgatory is an organization made up of highly trained assassins and Navy SEALS who fight big crime and the untouchables in society. In this installment the team comes together to rescue a group of orphans and embarks on a deadly game of cat and mouse. There's a lot of action woven throughout the book that keeps the reader on their toes and riveted to the story.

At the center of this quick read are Gabrielle, the team leader and Sully, a navy SEAL whose relationship is on rocky ground. Add in their stilted romance and the consistent backdrop of danger and you have all the makings of a great thriller. Well-written and engaging, I was glued to the story until the end. Loved the supporting characters as well as the adorable Arthur. If you like adventure, crime thrillers, romance, and gun fights, this book is for you. I have to say it was a fun read and unique which I always enjoy.

I loved this story! It was full of mystery, adventure, love, romance, bonding between friends, good guys (and gals) and bad guys. I read this one fast because it was so full of action and I loved the camaraderie between the characters, and since they were Seals on a dangerous mission, they had to work together like a machine. Author Kells did a great job of building tension, conflict and love between husband and wife, Sully and Gabrielle. After I read it, my mind tricked me into thinking I had watched a movie, instead of having read a book. I can still see so clearly the stubbornness of Gabrielle, the panic Sully felt when Gabrielle told him she wanted out, the frightened and traumatized little boy Arthur as the events unfolded before his very eyes. And then the ending, promising more. Yes, I will be watching for the next book!

What a bliss to revisit the Purgatory characters!!! Having the chance to know what happened with all of them after all the mess they got into over the first three books in the series is a real pleasure. But this time, it is more than just a mess. Gabrielle has reached the breaking point and needs to get her life together while trying to conduct a mission that goes nowhere except going South. With the help of all her partners and friends—and even new ones—she will find the light to sort things out. Having all of them together on the same mission is a pure delight. Their bond is so strong that they all understand each other even more than they do of themselves.
I was really impressed to see that this one does credit to the series once again with an even more fast-paced story, keeping you on the edge from the first page. India, you did it again! Another page-turner full of humour, friendship, love, action and of course, kinky hot stuff!!

We taught Gabrielle and Sullivan were hopelessly in love? We have undervalued India Kells’ great imagination and remarkable writing talent. Even the happiest and most successful marriages can be battered by each other’s struggles. The whole Purgatory team we got to know over the first books is reunited–husbands tagging along–in a suspenseful story where life choices are doubted. Congrats once again for another amazing book! It is refreshing to read Romance where things are not all too easy and granted.

Great book

This is a fast-paced book, full of action.
Gabrielle is the main character. Together with Sully and the rest of the Purgatory, they are trying to rescue a bus full of orphaned kids.
Gabrielle is a strong woman but she's having personal issues in this book, and we see her vulnerable side. Love it!
The author is doing a great job of describing her as both tough and soft.
The book is very well written and I'm looking forward to the next book!

BREAKING POINT is an engaging story that will keep you hooked from beginning to end. Gabrielle and Sully are on a mission filled with twists and unexpected turns that could have serious consequences for them and their friends and teammates. Emotions and drama run high throughout, and even though there will be some unanswered questions, we can only hope they may lead to new adventures. It's been a thrilling series, and this final book certainly lives up to that excitement.

Great little short story that revisits all the old characters from the past books. It ends with a cliffhanger and the opening of what I'm guessing is a new series popping up. 2 thumbs up for this author and her amazing series
