Gin, a novice druid from Aynamaede, finds herself travelling throughout Orana, her ancestral home, with unexpected company after a series of unfortunate events.

I found myself cheering on our band of unlikely comrades. Ongoing obstacles and challenges face the group as a quest is placed before them.

An enjoyable story and worth a read!

Great characters and worldbuilding

I fell in love with Gin and Sath when I read a spin-off book to this series. It was so fun to go back to the original series and see how these characters first meet and the start of their relationship. I also enjoyed reading the origins of Taeben. It's always interesting to see how a character evolves to become the antagonist. The author brings this fantasy world to life so easily. You get everything you want in this magical cast of characters from faithful friends to conniving enemies. I am off to download Book Two of this series.
