Excellent romance!
Her best friend opened her eyes and advised her to take some time off. Abbey's work habits were out of control. All her activities revolved around her work and career. She can’t even remember when she had her last date. Abbey found a place to stay but little did she know that Tampa would give her more than only nice beaches. She was not looking for love but the longer she stayed the more she realized how empty her heart was. Falling in love is easy but then what? This story is very well written, no rush and at times with sizzling passion. The characters are easy to love. A heartwarming sweet romance and I highly recommend it.

Pretty nice.
This is a pretty nice read. At first I thought it was going to have a little more drama and honestly I would have welcomed it because the situation both characters were in warranted it. I mean you had Clair and Eve as obstacles as well as Payton herself. Once the two main characters came to terms with their attraction everything seemed peachy keen. Regardless, I did enjoy the read and sometimes drama free is the way to go. Free on kindleUnlimited is always a plus and makes it worth the read even more.

Wtf? Okay, so I was paraphrasing... a bit. This really wasn't a terribly interesting story. The dialogue was bland and the characters have no backgrounds. It is a quick read though.

Picture Perfect
As a photographer, I always enjoy stories that feature photographers as characters. When someone learning photography and photo editing is also included, that's a serious bonus. While this was a fairly small part of the story compared to the fantastic romance storyline and the character development in the main protagonist, Abbey, it still boosted my enjoyment of the story.

DNF at 39%. Incredibly robotic dialogue and writing. No emotion at all, nothing to give me any insight into the characters and their chemistry.

It's a fine story that could use some editing. There wasn't necessarily anything bad that made me dislike it but unfortunately there wasn't anything good either. The relationship between the main characters was okay but I didn't necessarily connect with either of them, I would also prefer if there was more of a development in their relationship instead of we kiss, we don't talk to each other, we kiss, and so on. Furthermore the attack that kind of jumpstarted their relationship should probably be followed by a call for police and a trip to a hospital. The whole story seems a little off, as if the plot is stretched but underdeveloped at the same time.

It was ok. I mean there was an inordinate amount of push pull that made me grit my teeth. Then the roadblocks. Sigh. IDK. Didn't wow me, but wasn't bad either.

Good story
Abbey a workaholic in New York decides to some time off from her NYC lawyer company. Through a mix up with reservations Abbey finds herself living with an attractive woman. Gradual start ends up with both women enjoying themselves together. Enjoy.

Thoroughly enjoyable read, in testing times it was a joy to escape into a good book. Loved the characters and setting, will definitely read more by this author.

I loved this book. When Abbey decided to take a year long break and the she found someone that she fell in love with and stayed and opened her own law practice.

Abbey's law partner suggests she take a year off to avoid burnout after successfully building their family law practice for the last 12 years. It seems strange at first but then she embraces the idea and decides to head to Tampa. There she ends up sharing a house blocks from the beach with Payton a professional photographer.
The story is a bit unrealistic with little character development. They are flat mates who don't flirt or banter. There is little angst but beyond that everything falls a little short for me. (2.5 stars)

The plot was good. It flowed easily, nothing too dramatic happened. The characters were lovely, I enjoyed getting to know them. The chapters were really short and the story was too in general.
Overall the book was good. My only uh problem with it was that it was written in the perspective of only one of the main characters. I'm guessing that's what the author wanted, a main focus on Abbey. But I'd have loooved to know what Payton was feeling and thinking most of the time. I think it would have made the book a lot more interesting.

Loved it
I was sad the book was over. I had fun with the characters, the story, and even the revenge plot. It was a good book. The only thing I am having an issue with us the ending in both books i have read from this author. The books have a wonderful romantic flow to them and then you get to the end and it feels almost rushed. I was just wondering if that was in purpose or am I the only one that feels that way?

Predictable happiness. ❤️
This is an enjoyable HEA experience where the reader says “wake up! The solution is right in front of you!”
But with all Ms. Collins works, waiting for the predictable is always rewarding.
One thing that makes me read her works more than others of this genre, is that her characters, with all their flaws, are “nice people” and the reader can patiently wait for them to conquer their obstacles toward finding the love that is right in front of them.

3 stars. This was just fine. The characters went too long dancing around each other and not communicating to the point that it got on my nerves. The characters themselves were okay, I wasn’t attached to them but the romance was cute once they got it together. The writing was good and I loved the setting and this was a quick read I just wish that I had enjoyed the romance and characters more.

My only problem with this story is the fact that a lawyer is mugged and robbed but the police were never called. Other than that I enjoyed the story and will read some more from this author.

A really good book. All Ms. Collin’s books are. The MC’s are both likable women. One is a burnt out attorney needing to take a year off from her job. The other is an easy going photographer 9 years her junior. A match made in heaven.

Pretty good book! Aside from some grammatical errors, I really enjoyed this book. It's a short read ave sometimes I like that. Definitely recommend!

Easy read. Fluffy, straightforward, nothing too special though.
The character Payton has a background, likes and dislikes, but I can't describe her personality. Quite bland character.
