Donna Michaels bring you great characters and awesome journeys. You will really enjoy this book

Ms Michaels gives us book 8 of the very engaging series titled Sleeper SEALs. This story gives us Matteo“Reaper” Santarelli and Bella Monroe.
Matteo left the SEALs, not because of an injury, but because his father had a stroke and he’s back in Atlantic City to help the pizza parlors his Dad owns. But, he has also been recruited by Commander Lambert to be one of his Sleeper SEALS. Bella was a neighbor of Matteo when she was young , and has been in love with him forever. But even though Matteo felt the same way, his Dad warned him not to touch her. Now she is an operative of a special ops with a personal vendetta. The chemistry between the two was obvious now that they have reconnected and are assigned to find a known terrorist. One was assigned to kill him the other to keep him alive.
Seeing Matteo and Bella work their differences and the way they worked to contain the terrorist attack , made for an entertaining story.
I do have a couple of personal thoughts on the story. I have read 6 of the 8 books in the series and know how , why and when the Sleeper SEALs was formed. This story doesn’t address it and a new reader might miss out on understanding better the series. Also, some of us have not read stories about the Knight Agency . Maybe a clarification at the beginning of the book might have helped.
All that said, it was a good addition to the Sleeper SEALs.

Donna Michaels has delivered an explosive book hat follows Matteo & Bella as they hunt for a terrorist in there home town.
Matteo never thought he’d be back slinging pizzas for his dad agin but with his father in hospital he stepped up to help, what he never expected was to become a sleeper seal trying to stop a terror treat in his home town. When Bella walks into the pizza shop he knows he has to have her walking away from her ten years ago was his biggest mistake he just hopes she will give him a second chance.
When Bella gets back into town she is shocked by he turn of events that have happened and seeing Matteo where he godfather should be. When she finds out what is going on they work together to neutralize the treat they have in there city. When Knight comes to help they can follow more but they are both hiding secrets from each other, with some much not being said can they trust each other to find the terrorist or will there love for one another be enough with the understanding that goes with there missions.

You do not want to miss out on this exciting adventure from Donna Michaels’ new addition to the Sleeper SEALs series, book #8, Grinch Reaper. This fast-paced thriller grabbed me from the beginning and held my interest until the very end. From the mysterious plot and the riveting story to the raw emotions and chemistry between the main characters I was completely absorbed in this book. If you enjoy a good romantic read full of suspense, mystery, action, danger, drama, humor and steamy romance along with hot alpha men and strong feisty women then this is definitely the book for you. *I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the ARC.

I just had the best night. There was no sleeping until I found out what happened to the Grinch SEAL. Matteo maybe a frog but he was definitely a Grinch.
For those that have not read Knight's Seal, you are missing a little of the back story, but it won't hinder this amazing suspense filled adventure. Just picture Knight and his group as contract security company working for Homeland or and other alphabet that needs assistance. There are so many secret agencies involved that I am surprised that they ever got anything done.
This story was packed with suspense. It was packed with more secrets, more evil than any of the recent suspense thrillers released on the big screen. The icing on the cake, the peak on top of the suspense was the romance. Matteo and Bella have been friends, neighbors forever. She was always of limits by order of his father, her godfather. That was fine when they were younger, but now the restraints are off and they can hardly contain themselves.
Matteo has had to come home to Atlantic City to care for his father and the family business. His dad has had a stroke, but something just feels off. As a now retired SEAL he feels lost until he is hired as a "Sleeper SEAL." His mission, if he chooses to accept, it to stop a terrorist attack.
Bella is the girl next door. She is the one that got away. She is the one that Matteo pines for. She is also not someone to mess with. After a stint in the Marines she is putting her training to good use fighting terrorism one assignment at a time.
Bella and Matteo are reunited, not in love but with a shared goal. Stop the terrorist attack. Sounds easy right??? You would be wrong. They have different missions. There jobs conflict at times. He is a team player. She is a loner. He plans. She flies by the seat of her pants. How will the ever work? How will the complete their mission if they are at odds.
Tensions heat up in more ways than you can imagine. They are both pulling the wool over each others eyes making me wonder if they will ever let love in.

Matteo, a SEAL, is forced into early retirement to come home and help care for his father. Matteo has been informed his dad had a stroke, but his gut tells him otherwise. While his father recuperates, Matteo is responsible for managing his father's three pizza shops in Altantic City and surrounding areas. When he's contacted by Lambert to work "undercover" to combat homegrown terrorists, he jumps at the chance. He would do anything for his dad, but making pizzas doesn't provide the adrenaline rush he's used to.
Isabella is a Blackjack dealer by day, an operative to a "secret" government agency by night. Her latest assignment is to eliminate a terrorist who was responsible for killing her father. Isabella's father was killed saving others in a terrorist attack, so she has dedicated her life to "legally" seeking revenge on terrorists. Isabella gladly accepts her latest assignment, but is thrown for a loop when it puts her in the path of Matteo--her childhood crush and love.
Working together, but separately has it's advantages and disadvantages. While working with Isabella, Matteo realizes he can't fight his feelings anymore and pursues Isabella only to have her push him away. Isabella believes she's too damaged and done things in her career that Matteo may not be able to forgive. Will they be able to find happiness while taking down the terrorists.....

This is another thrilling suspenseful romantic story in the Sleeper SEALs series with Matteo leaving the SEALs to help his father's pizza business in Atlantic City after suffering a stroke brought on by a head trauma. Commander Lambert contacted him to help catch a terrorist alive and find out where he was going to strike next which he gladly accepted. This same terrorist killed Bella's dad, Matteo's father's best friend and he stopped him from causing a major terrorist attack. The terrorist was jailed but escaped and was back at it after altering his appearance. Matteo and Bella grew up together and he always had to resist the attraction he felt for her. He broke her heart when he left to become a SEAL but she became a CIA operative and was a lethal assassin. Her assignment was to kill Rasheed while Matteo 's was to capture him. They reconnected and started working together with Knight and Brooke to capture Rashead since he was rumored to be in Atlantic City. This was a very action packed suspenseful romance as these two fell back in love and worked together to stop a terrorist attack that Rasheed and his Russian friends had planned with nerve gas. It was amazing how they stopped it from happened and ended up working for the agency owned by Knight together as partners when she quit her job with the CIA. They got their happily ever after and Matteo and Bella were destined to be together forever. I highly recommend this Sleeper SEALs series by multi authors and cannot wait to read the next release.

This was a bit different from the rest of the series that I have read so far in that Mateo a.k.a Reaper left the field due to a family issue and not because he was injured badly. I liked that spin because not everyone leaves due to injuries.
His father has a stroke and his mother passed away five years ago so he comes home to care for his dad and take over the family Pizza business. He is contacted by Commander Lambert and he is given a mission to protect a terrorist from being killed after a hit is put out on him.
Easy enough until the love of his life whom he walked away from 10 years ago comes back into his life. Bella works for Homeland Security but on the dark side of it as she is sanctioned to kill terrorists and her next target is the man who Reaper is sanctioned to keep alive until they can get important information from him.
The minute these two meet again, it's like a volcano erupting. They have that much explosive chemistry. She is just as badass as he is but unlike him she likes to work alone. Can he teach her that it's better to have someone watch her six? Sparks fly as do the pages in this wonderfully written addition to the Sleeper SEAL series.

Grinch Reaper A 5 star read!!
One of my favorite things about the Sleeper Seal's series is great stories set in American towns written by great authors. Every book has really brought home to me how real the danger of terrorism on American soil is. The idea for this series of book was genius. The setting in this book is Atlantic City and it is a perfect place for a terrorist act to take place. The main characters Matteo and Bella grew up there and the back story of their youth interwoven into the current problems gave the story depth and interest. Having to try and figure out who could be a terrorist among people you grew up with made everything more tense. Matteo and Bella because of their history are a great couple. You can feel the tension between them at all times and they really deserve their HEA ending. I loved the pacing of this book it kept me unable to put the book down. Donna Michael's is great at keeping the intensity of the story hot and moving. A job well done.

Now it’s just throwing pizza until he receives a call from the General and now his heart starts pumping again when he is tasked to work in his hometown and capture and interrogate a known terrorist but then in walks the only woman he truly ever loved Isabella “Banshee” Monroe. What he doesn’t know is that she is part of a secret government agency that is out to capture and kill his intended target…
Lots of twists, turns, heart pounding suspense, sexual tension and maybe finding a way to have a HEA instead of keeping each other art arms length…who will be the first to fall???

A very good second chance at love story
I've read all of Ms. Michael's At Ease Ranch and some of the Guardian Angel series but this Grinch Reaper has one heck of a heroine with Isabella. Her skills out this story over the top as they were equal with Matteo's former SEAL now making pizzas while his dad recovers.
Matteo Santaorelli reluctantly left his SEAL team when his dad has a stroke but his super spider senses are telling him somethings not right . I've read all of Ms. Michael's At Ease Ranch and some of the Guardian Angel series but this Grinch Reaper has one heck of a heroine with Isabella. Her skills out this story over the top as they were equal with Matteo's former SEAL now making pizzas while his dad recovers.

What a GREAT read!! I could not put this book down! This book starts off with such excitement its hard to not get hooked to continue reading. We meet Bella in the beginning of the story and what a kick butt kind of woman. We then meet Matteo who is back home working and keeping an eye on his dad and the business. Bella comes home and is surprised to see Matteo, although they have known each other growing up she thought he would be busy with his unit…not in the pizza shop. Matteo has had feelings for Bella but with her being like family he knew there were limits, but the electricity is there and hard to deny. Little do they both know is they both end up with an assignment with the same outcome, but can they get the mission done and figure out this romance? YOU need to read Grinch Reaper and find out for yourself!!

Another fantastic story in this series, I love how all these authors have managed to write individual stories while still keeping Greg interwoven in them and true to the character that he is. This is intense and full of suspense, both main characters are serving or only very recently left so are working together to solve the mission. There are various angles and other characters to keep it interesting and to have you guessing a little as to if they are all involved, it is also nice to have a bit of a support team around. I enjoyed reading this, each of the stories are slightly different topic though all share the terrorist category. Great reading and yes they can be read as stand alone books but personally I think you get more out of the series by reading them all, you don't however have to read in publishing order as there is no follow on or cliff hangers.

This is the first Dangerous Curves compilation that I’ve read and loved it and that its also part of the Sleeper Seal Series is an added bonus. Matteo and Bella are very strong characters that put Country and Family first. Isabella “ Banshee” Monroe is on a mission to find Rasheed Al-Zahawi the terrorist that killed her father and Matteo “ Reaper “ Santarelli left the teams when his father had a supposed stroke. Now he’s slinging dough at his Dad’s Restaurant. When he joined the Navy he left Bella, his Dad and the restaurant behind. His only regret was leaving the only woman he ever cared for and couldn’t have. Jameson Knight has wanted Bella to rejoin his Agency for a long while and would also take on Matteo in a heartbeat. I look forward to not only reading more of the Sleeper Seal Series but also getting to know Jameson Knight and his teams.

OMG! This was an intriguing story. This story is about Matteo and Bella. Bella has always been in love with Matteo but he broke her heart a decade earlier but she never got over him. Bella is a CIA agent who goes after terrorists until she finds the one who killed her father. Now she has found him and is determined to get her revenge but Matteo is tasked find the same terrorist but keep alive. Some parts are funny as Matteo tried to keep Bella safe but realized that she can take care of herself. Now these two work together and finally let their feelings for each other show. Once the terrorists are neutralized, Bella resigns from her current job to sign up with Knight Securities along with Matteo. So glad Matteo finally realized what he was missing. I am happy these two found their happily ever after. FANTASTIC job Donna! I would recommend this book.

Grinch Reaper by Donna Michaels, grabs the reader from the very first page and doesn't turn you loose until the last page is turned. Matteo (Reaper) Santarelli and Isabella "Banshee" Monroe, also known as Bella are both after the same man only for totally different reasons. Matteo and Bella grew up together, their chemistry is off the charts, but even Matteo had no idea just what kind of job Bella was always running off to.
This book is fast paced and loaded with suspense, passion, romance and family. Bella is a strong heroine, independent, skilled in her job, and just as capable as Matteo is. That doesn't stop Matteo from wanting to protect her in every way he can. As a team Matteo and Bella are unstoppable, but after the mission is over, will they still be a team?

Another great read by Donna Michaels
Grinch Reaper is actually Matteo's and Bella's story from the beginning. A love story 10 years in the making. It was sooooooooo good. Matteo was asked to take lead in a mission and work with Knight. Bella was also given a mission unbeknownst to Matteo to take out his same target. So Matteo needed him alive and Bella's mission was to eliminate the target which happens to be the man/terrorist that killed her father. When Matteo captured his target it was hell getting Bella to listen to him and why they needed the man alive. She realized after she shot him (but not killed him) what Matteo was saying made sense. But when all was said and done I really thought Bella would get to eliminate him. That was never mentioned in the end.

I think I'm in love with Bella, and then Mateo. I love strong women and you can't get much kickass stronger than a woman on special forces. Her and Mateo on the same mission and having all the unresolved chemistry for years ready to blow along with the terrorists...well I just didn't know which I like better. Mateo was no slouch either and between them, they made an awesome duo.
This is definitely a story worth reading if you like all your senses being triggered. A very good plot with twists and turns that keep you reading til the end.

Dramatic, suspenseful and action packed. A chance at love with a surrogate sibling who is seemingly at cross purposes. Marine assassin Banshee aka Bella poses as a flight attendant to complete a deadly mission where she learns the next attack is in her hometown of Atlantic City, New Jersey which places her back in the sights of recently retired Navy SEAL Reaper aka Matteo Santarelli who has returned home to run the family business while his father recovers from a suspicious stroke.

Bella and Matteo back in their hometown of Atlantic City on the trail of a world classed terrorist. Two people with essentially the same focus but wanting different outcomes from their mission. Can they work together - oh, they haven't told each other what their real expected result is! With that working relationship, throw in chemistry that is so explosive it might just incinerate the two of them. WOW! I had so much trouble putting this one down. Bella and Matteo could melt polar icecaps! Great read. Pick it up today!

"Grinch Reaper" (Sleeper SEALS book 8) by Donna Michaels is a great read. I loved Matteo and Bella's story. This book is a great addition to the Sleeper SEALS series, packed with action, passion, twists and turns, humor, military, entertaining characters, and more. I loved catching up with members of the Knight Agency from the Dangerous Curves series. I can't wait to see what happens next with these characters in the Dangerous Curves series. Highly recommend to all fans of military, romance, and series.

I certainly enjoyed the writing and the Donna Michaels/Suspense Sister book about Bella and Matteo. She’s loved him for so long, and finally after some ten years he can no longer resist her and is willing to forgo the promise he made to his dad years ago to keep her off limits. Now they are both on the same mission, only difference hers is to kill, his is to capture the man that is responsible for killing her father. There’s plenty of suspense, sexual chemistry and sweet romance to have you speed reading to their HEA.

Great
This series just gets better with each book. This was about a seal who came home to care for his Dad who supposedly had a stroke after suffering a heart attack. He had to retire from being an active duty Seal because he would not leave his Dad. While he was home, he and his high school sweetheart discovered a plot to release nerve gas on the public during the holiday. Bella, who has an interesting background story of her own, was always in love with Mateo. They come together finally and it was fun reading their adventures in this story.

I enjoyed Grinch Reaper. (The book title and book cover make sense once you read the book!) The action starts on page one and doesn't let up. Childhood friends Matteo Santarelli and Bella Monroe, are unexpectedly reunited to take down a terrorist in Atlantic City during the holiday season. They each have a vested interest in bringing down the terrorist because he has had a hand in recently putting Matteo's father in the hospital and in causing Bella's father's death years ago. This book is a well written romantic suspense story that really kept my interest. I enjoyed it.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Matteo and Bella had history. She was his father's God-daughter. His father insisted that he take care of her and not hurt her. So he left to become a DEAL and did not acknowledge the feelings that he also had for her. But the bad guys are at it in their neighborhood and both are in the job to protect America and her citizens.

Donna Michaels has done a tremendous job with her part of the Sleeper Series. None of these books disappoint if you are looking for, hot, steamy, and exciting. This one tells the story of a hot Italian Seal, Matteo, and his sister’s best friend who’s no slouch herself, Bella. Can they stop the terrorist? Will the sizzle that has been going for years between Matteo and Bella become to hot to ignore?

A famtastic read with lots of action, terrorists, love, sex, and understanding about their losses. They went their separate ways in different fields, but end back where they grew up. Reaper, because his father had a stroke, supposedly, he gave up the seals to take care of his dad and their business. Although he didn't think what happened to his dad was an accident. And of course Bella's father was murdered by the very man they are hunting for.

Love them together. They are both very sexy and hot. Want to know more about Jameson Knight and Brooke. Amazing storyline full of suspense and intrigue.
