Oh Wow! Great book!
What would you do if your Hollywood teenage crush made the moves on you? Well that is exactly what happened to Dina in this book. Will Derry, Hollywood's Playboy heart-throb actor tries his hand at directing. Will is tired of the acting scene. The parties the women and the fake smiles. He decides that he wants to direct a film and take a break from the acting. What he does not expect is to be hit with feelings when he comes face to face with Dina. Feelings he has never had before. How does he deal with this when she runs away every chance she gets.
Dina did not expect Will to put the moves on her. That is exactly what he did though and she can't help but think that she will be another notch on his post. So what does she do? She runs. She is terrified of the feelings this man causes. But she has to be strong and deny it, otherwise she will have her heart-broken.
I really enjoyed the layout of this story and how it flowed. It was a steady paced read with enjoyable main characters. It does not really focus much on other characters though. I would have liked to have seen more on that front. The chemistry between these two is electric. I enjoyed the push and pull of the story. It had me hooked and I had to keep reading to see if it would be a happy ending or not.
This is the first book by April Fire that I have read and I did enjoy it. So much so that I will check out more books by her. I recommend this book for a cozy read. But be warned it will have you hot and bothered before it is over.

Famous Hollywood actor Will Derry has a playboy image he is growing tired of and is ready to move on to something new. He's directing a movie he couldn't get anyone else to take. Dina Jacobs is a make-up artist who isn't big on all the fame and backstabbing that seems to come with Hollywood. She loves her work but doesn't really want to be in the limelight. Will seems to remember her work in another film and requests her for his new movie. When they cross paths on the set, sparks fly, but Dina isn't keen to find out if they can light a fire. She knows about Will's romeo ways and doesn't want to be another notch on his bedpost. She also doesn't want to ruin her chance at this job. She's had a crush on him for years but she tries to stand strong. As time goes on during filming, it seems as if every time they get close, she runs away. This only intrigues Will more and more. Dina was a makeup artist in Hollywood. She had a chance to do an Indie Movie in Devina. The movie was being directed by Will Derry an actor and playboy. He was one of the biggest start in the country. Dina had a crush on him. They meet and instant chemistry is there. The plot is set for the book. This book is full of chemistry, jealousy, fear, lust, sexy scenes, and love. Can Dina trust Will? Can Will forget Dina? Will they get their happy ever after? Grab a copy of the book and start reading. I couldn’t put it down until I had finished reading it.
This was my first book written by April Fire but it most certainly won’t be the last. She puts dimension into her characters and her plot was excellent. I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.

Everyone has a celebrity crush; the dream, the fantasy, the "free pass". Make-up artist Dina Jacobs is one of the many women who has fantasized over actor Will Derry for years. When she takes a job on an Indie film to escape the normal Hollywood scene, she finds that he is actually the director of the movie. Instead of a slow, laid back set, she finds herself thrown together, working closely with the playboy actor turned director. It's clear early on that there's more to Will than his reputation and that he's interested in Dina. However, this is the kind of thing that ruins your movie career. Hers, not his. If she follows her fantasy, she could ruin her reputation in the industry, this could keep her from being hired in the future. It's likely that she's just another notch in the bedpost for him anyway. She has no choice except to turn him away... But what if he's for real. What if he truly is tired of the parties, new dates nightly? What if he truly does have feelings for her? What if they could both have something real together?
This is another entertaining story by this writing duo. They always manage to give you more story than expected. They have mastered character development, relationship build-up, and sexual tension. These two characters have great chemistry. Hot! The story immediately grabs you and keeps you hooked until the very end.

Great story and definitely a page turner. Dina is a make-up artist for movies and tv shows. Tired of the backstabbing and hectice lifestyle of Hollywood she takes a job her agent contacted her about a job in Devina. The small town relaxed atmosphere is exactly what she needs. The only problem is one of the director's is Will Derry a Hollywood heartthrob actor who she has secretly had a crush on for years. Will is a playboy and has a reputation and Dina has been there and done that with other actors and doesn't want to deal with that. Will feels the attraction to Dina immediately and it's been awhile since someone has shot down his advances. He likes Dina and feels like he can talk to her as well. Will Dina ever give Will a chance or is he just like all the other actors she dated previously. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

April Fire tells a good story with well-developed characters. It's easy to identify with Dina but at one point, I almost felt sorry for Will! For all of his experience in both the industry and in bed, he seemed a little dense when it came to Dina's reluctance. Luckily, he's not needy or vengeful, just honest and in the end, they both get what they really want. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC in exchange for an honest opinion.

Love this story about a playboy finally growing up and finding love. Dina knows all about Will’s playboy ways and she is sick and tired of Hollywood and the facade it constructs. Will is tired of the fake everything of Hollywood and decided he wants to try his hand at directing. Meeting Dina he realizes everything he has been missing in his life. Life has a funny way of two people sick of the fake facades of Hollywood coming together in a different town and finding happiness together.

I really enjoyed reading A-List Temptation by April Fire. Dina is a makeup artist in Hollywood and The director of the new movie that she is working on is Will Derry a Hollywood heartthrob, notorious badboy and A list actor whom she has had a crush on for years!
Will is instantly attracted to Dina but everytime they get close she shuts him down at the most uncomfortable moment for him!

This was a short office romance.He is a actor/playboy/director. She is a makeup artist. They have a strong connection. She is afraid she will ruin her chances of a acting career. Has he reformed, can she take the chance? Read the book and find out. It was a good read. I received the book for a voluntarily review.

A-List Temptation is an entertaining read! These two really know how to write a story. It's a quick read, but it has everything you need for a great story. The characters are well developed with great chemistry. We're talking smoking hot! The storyline pulls you in and you devour every word. I definitely recommend this story!! I was disappointed with this book. The writing style was good and it was well edited but I just didn't enjoy the story. The heroine wasn't likeable, I found her to be incredibly selfish and a tease and not worthy of the hero. It ends at 50% which was good for me because at that point I was very bored and annoyed with her and was thinking about not completing it.

Dina is a makeup artist who has had a crush on the famous actor Will Derry from the time she was a teenager. When given the opportunity to be with him, she cant bring herself to do it.
Cute book, fast read, I felt so sorry for Will he was so heartbroken and didn't understand why Dina was so afraid of a relationship with him. Male, female role reversal to a point.

This was a well written story and well described characters. Though it was a little uneven, still it was an enjoyable story.
The female character felt a little naive and not like a mature woman. I'm happy she came around at the end.
That said - I'm going to look for more books by this author.

A very good read - I ended up staying up late to finish it! April's emotional and mental journey captured my attention and heart. April Fire is an excellent writer and I enjoyed every word. I will definitely be looking for more of her work. Enjoyed the story very much and liked the characters. I love happy endings.

What a beautiful love story, a celebrity crush come true. Playboy A list actor, Will is tired of the fast lane and the limelight. He yearns for something with more substance and he finds himself attracted to make up artist Dina. She's always had a crush on him like half the world but she's not sure if he's serious. Lots of twists and an entertaining read.
