High Spirits: A Tale of the Rocky Mountains

The year is 2027 and the future of Breckenridge, Colorado is at stake. Will it become a spiritual refuge, a graveyard for billionaires, or one of the last luxury ski resorts as the earth warms? Politicians, developers, and the granddaughter of a long dead preacher fight over a church property that may hold the key to the town’s destiny. Hidden gold, Japanese monks, and right-wing politics all play a part as a shrewd detective investigates a mysterious climbing accident and the town take sides over a little wooden chapel’s fate.

Predictable

Predictable, but still a fun read. Especially good if you're familiar with Breck. Ready to try and find where the 2 acres are!
