The Roman Province of Judaea, Anno Domini XXXIII. The main character, a demon, acts as a puppeteer who pulls the strings of the other characters. They are the unaware spectators and actors of an evanescent show, which references to a plausible historical reality and eventually compels the reader to get lost in the maze of a metaphysical symbolism. The meta-theatre condition – the play within the play – leads the reader and the audience to a dreamlike they get in as spectators and they get out with the disconcerting feeling of having been the protagonists themselves. Situations and characters are metaphors, thus letting a varied and personal interpretation to the reader's sensitivity.
