Wu Han Ying does not know why a bunch of people were following him around shouting sister-in-law.
Xia Chen does not know why he begins to like the existence of this obedient Little Wudang, who is sometimes a bit silly as well.
Being followed and being called Sister-in-law, Little Wudang could not stand it anymore and retorted, “I’m a man.”

Lao Da (Boss) confessed, Sister-in-law (Sao Zi) ran away, so Lao Da is going crazy.
Guild Member 1: Sister-in-law, please come back, Lao Da doesn’t mind that you’re a ladyboy! (ladyboy – a male plays female character in game; this happens often in RPG ^^)
Guild Member 2: Pei Pei Pei, ladyboy your ass! Dare to call my sister-in-law as ladyboy, come to Yan Nan* (A place’s name, where players use for PVP)
Guild Members: …
Little Wudang thought to himself, you can’t blame me for disappearing, it’s because the school internet got disconnected.
It's a low-key romance story, and the main plot was written through online gaming, but it successfully caught my attention from the beginning to the end. Most of the romance was in the last few chapters of the story, but it's very very sweet.
I loved that there's no angst, no homophobia, no sexual identity crisis, no moral crisis, and almost no sex (it's only kissing and very short single sex scene). What I had a problem with was their Chinese names; their names were so confusing to me >_<
Wu Han Ying is your normal and average college guy. He's someone you looked at, nodded your head once or twice and that's it. There's nothing about him that will make him stuck in your head for days to come. But, when he started playing RPG game using his roommate's female character, he soon found out that he's not that normal or average anymore.
Xia Chen is your typical CEO male lead. In short, what's lacking about him? Nothing. He's so perfect, that you'll find his name next to perfect in the dictionary. But, when Xia Chen fall in love, rest assure you're the only one in his eyes.
Both of them met in the game. Xia Chen is the top player while Wu Han Ying or Xiao Wu is the obedient player that Xia Chen like to follow. And when Xia Chen decided to follow someone, rest assure the rest of team is right behind him.
Almost three quarter of the book is about the game itself. So, if you're not familiar with RPG and it's slang, well, it's time to learn. The translator was kind enough to explain most of the term in the game.
The last quarter of the book is pure romance. It got me giddy because it's light and fluffy. Of course, there's family issue thrown in as well. But, with Xia Chen as the male lead, what's there to worry.
Wholesome with minimal sadness. a good read when your brain is turned off. You'll need an interest mmorpgs, or online games in general to keep up though. and also basic chinese online slang.
As a whole the main CP are rther cute, especially when put together since the two had fallen in love over a game at first and not direct put togther. One the two are put together it's just a long stream of cuteness while the dominant of the pair leading the couple along.
It gets kind of boring in the middle due to some pacing issues, and the game can be hard to understand if you don't play (though the english translators did a great job explaining a lot of it), but as a whole it was a rather sweet and short read.
Read the translated ENG version. IMO, you at least gotta have some interest in gaming to be able to thoroughly enjoy this novel story plot as there were quite many scenes in the game settings. I didn’t give full rating cause for me some parts just did not make sense but nonetheless overall still worth reading. A modern fairytale and destiny with a touch of hesrtwarming.
A nice story... HE, ofc.. But the ending feels rushed.. Like everything could be settle just like that? Hmm. It's nice tho.. Less drama but i still want a lil bit revenge for that aunt's family. she's such a..... Ughhhhh
wanted a fun read but it was just so boring and annoying 😭😭 i can't believe i read the whole thing and it just kept getting worse,, i have so many things to complain about i wouldn't know where to start
The plot is pretty simple, two guys befriend on a online videogame and start to feel something more but at the same time they live in the same university dormitory without noticing each other!!
Adorable danmei story, the cutey shou and cool gong meet in an online game and have adorable interactions there. A must read for everyone that loves BL and gaming.
aaaaaa.....aku suka banget ma ceritanya, sweet & fluffy.bacanya bikin senyum2 sendiri.temanya juga tentang game online.80% cerita settingnya didalam game.ngakak setiap baca percakapan di chat guild, anggota guildnya gila semua suka kompakan nge bully Xiao Wu & 59 second, kadang kasian ama Xiao Wu ampe speechless gak tau gimana ngebales chat nya.karakter Xiao Wu innocent & baik banget, mau di bully kayak apa tetep kalem gak gampang emosi, itu yg bikin temen2 nya sayang banget sama dia dan itu juga yg bikin 59 second yg terkenal cool, heartless & tanpa ekspresi jadi tertarik dan jatuh cinta sama dia
