Rate this book
Investigates physical evidence, history, and myths to reveal the lost race of giants that once dominated the world

• Reveals suppressed archaeological and scientific discoveries supporting the existence of a worldwide race of giants

• Examines giant myths and legends from ancient religious texts and literature from around the world

• Includes findings from throughout Europe (Britain, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, and Russia), the Middle East (Israel, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and Iran), Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and the Far East (China, Japan, Malaysia, and the Philippines)

From the Nephilim and Goliath in the Bible to the Titans in Greek mythology and the Fomorians and Frost Giants in Celtic and Nordic lore, almost every culture around the world has spoken of an ancient race of giants. Giant footprints left in the geological bedrock, tens of thousands of years old, have been discovered in India, China, and the war-torn lands of Syria. Giant bones and full skeletons have been found in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and Asia. Yet despite mounting evidence, mainstream science continues to consign these findings to the fringe.

Examining global myths, historical records, megalithic ruins, and archaeological findings, Xaviant Haze provides compelling evidence for a lost race of giants in Earth’s prehistory. He explores myths that go back thousands of years, including those found in the world’s holiest scriptures, as well as medieval and modern myths, such as Geoffrey of Monmouth’s account of the first kings of Britain and the stories of giant bones unearthed by Allied soldiers during World War II. He investigates historical reports of ancient giants found in Ireland and the British Isles—the remains of which mysteriously disappeared shortly after their discovery. He explores the legends of giants in Russia and goes deep into the Far East, revealing the multitude of fascinating giant legends in China. Haze explains how giants were responsible for the megalithic wonders of Malta and how the early settlers of Australia discovered the remains of giants but these findings were suppressed by the Royal Academies. He also explores the mythic origins of the Were they the hybrid results from genetic experiments of ancient aliens or from the interbreeding of the fallen angels with the daughters of man?

Covering legends and finds from throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and the Far East, Haze also presents--in its entirety-- The Book of Giants , a portion of the Dead Sea Scrolls suppressed due to its overwhelming support for the existence of giants in antiquity.

Basically, this is a collection of the myths and folklore regarding human "giants" broken up by location. From Europe to Africa to the Far East and the Americas, giants are a part of many cultural traditions. In fact, there are a plethora of reports of finding larger than usual skeletons and individual bones over the centuries. Suspiciously, nearly every case of these bones and skeletons have been lost whether in an overlooked crate in some museum or on a dusty shelf in some backroom that has been ignored and forgotten. But it is certainly mighty convenient that all these discoveries across the world and over centuries have all managed to disappear.

Do I personally believe that giants existed - well, overall, the average height was shorter hundreds and thousands of years ago so someone six feet tall today would tower over those standing nearby. Also, gigantism is a medical condition that causes excessive growth in bones, organs and muscles and that growth also strains their hearts usually resulting in death at an early age. What would be considered an early age for a human today would likely be a rich and full lifespan hundreds of years ago.

As I said, this is a collection of examples - some may be real, some may be exaggeration - but in no way was I convinced of the existence of giants beyond those either impacted by a tumor on their pituitary gland or are naturally tall as a people - Haze discussed the Tutsi only in passing.

This is a mostly anecdotal collection of stories and myths about giants from prehistory to more recent times, categorized in terms of region. There is no attempt at analysis or investigating if the "giants" described in the stories or ancient carvings are actual giants, normal people with medical conditions, or simply over-exaggerated tales that grew with the telling. All of the giant bone discoveries mentioned in this book have mysteriously disappeared. The author claims a conspiracy, which may well be true, but this book doesn't help with any details or furthering of knowledge. This is a short book that brings nothing new to the table.

I was really disappointed by this. I went into it expecting a lot but i did not feel like this delivered as i felt that even though it was meant to be about the science and myth behind the unknown elements of life, it did not have a fully convincing argument. I think part of the issue was my own expectations that affected my judgement of it.

I am a believer of many things – Giants in our past is one of those things. I have been watching people talk and reading what people write about Giants for years now. This book offered me nothing new. However if you are just starting into this theory it wouldn’t hurt to read this book.

Quick read. If you watch History Channel you may have seen some of this content. Syntax somewhat disjointed at times; some photos indecipherable.

Did have some interesting surprises, ie the ubiquity of giants in all cultures. Possible Atlanteans? Nephilim who survived Noah’s Flood?

Only 162 pages. Many footnotes that cite the internet almost exclusively.

Well researched and definitely a must read if you want to know more about the Giant Ones. The first time I heard about the giant ones was from the Bible. Such an intriguing ancient mystery.
