A librarian with a difficult past + a veteran snow leopard shifter + a dangerous threat = one passionate romance!
Divorced, broke, and living at home: Lillian Lowell has given up hope. Ever since her ex-husband left her with a monstrous debt, she’s focused on making her life as small as possible so she can pay it off. Even so, it’s going to take years, and she’s already in her mid-thirties. Any thoughts of a family and a future have already slipped away.
Snow leopard shifter Cal Westland is married to his job. In the ten years since he left the Marines, he’s dedicated his life to being head ranger at Glacier National Park. Now that there’s a snow leopard pack living there, though, he’s become their alpha, as well as their boss. He loves being a ranger—but he’s a natural loner, and leading a pack full of twentysomethings doesn’t come easily to a middle-aged man who’d rather mind his own business.
But when Lillian is threatened by a group of mountain lion shifters, suddenly his solitude doesn’t seem so important. Cal is determined to protect Lillian—both from her present, and from her past. Can Cal keep Lillian safe, and show her she has a future after all? And can Lillian show Cal that being true pack leader doesn’t mean being alone?
The Snow Leopard’s Pack is a sizzling hot, standalone BBW snow leopard shifter romance. No cliffhangers!
Zoe Chant loves writing paranormal romance. Over a cup of tea (or something stronger) she whips up sexy tales of hunky heroes and adventurous heroines to tantalize and satisfy her readers. Sizzling hot romance, no cliffhangers!
While series should ideally be read in order, all of Zoe’s books are standalones and can be read in any order. This includes books within series.
My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!! ***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I got a review copy of this book, and no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! I have bought this book because I loved it, and I own most of Zoe’s books!
The cover is beautiful and awesome all at once!
This is the 5th book in this series, and it is for adults only due to the steamy content. While it isn’t mandatory, I highly recommend reading the series in order because you know the back story of what has happened and what the characters are like. It is so much more altogether than it is apart.
I have been waiting for Cal’s story! He has been standoffish and aloof for most of the series! Now I know the story, but I’m not giving it away. You have to read it. If you have read the other books, you know he is always there for everyone. I have always liked him, but wondered what was up with him. Lillian is Teri’s sister, but Lillian has kept her sister in the dark about why she lives at home. This is another story with a perfect mix of action/trouble and romance. Zoe knows the mix that makes each story great!
I highly recommend to all shifter fans especially if you love HEA endings! Zoe Chant is the queen of make you feel good HEAs! I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next! She is one of my favorite authors!
After getting half of her husband's gambling debts in the divorce, librarian Lillian Lowell was forced to move home and live with her overbearing mother to save money. She's envious of her younger sister, Teri, who has recently found love with her Park Ranger panther shifter mate and a new purpose in life with her new job at Glacier National Park. When Lillian is threatened by mountain lion shifters over her husband's debts, she turns to her sister, who in turn looks to pack leader Cal Westland for help -- and despite his loner status, Cal can't help getting involved.
I like Lillian, despite her being way to self-sacrificing for her own good. Plus, we get to learn more about the mysterious Cal, who has been a background character for the rest of the series. It's great to give them both a backstory and a future. However, the actual conflict is over too quickly and easily, and is very anticlimactic, which bumps this book down in the ratings.
Good story. Fairly quick read. Well written, decent editing.
It was nice to get to know the alpha, finally. And to understand why there initially wasn’t an alpha, and then there was kinda… makes sense now. I like the h and H. Wasn’t sure about h when you realize it’s the sister of Teri from a previous book. But it worked out and my worries were allayed. The h also kicks ass, just with poise and grace.
I loved this series. Not once did I want to off a main character because they were too stupid to live; such a refreshing change! Almost every character was a survivor and they were all responsible adults. Making mostly common sense or rational decisions (I did say mostly!). I hope Zoe Chant adds to this series now that this world has come together.
At times it seems that Zoe Chant saves the best of the series for last… I’m kinda hoping that there’s more to the Glacier Leopards series but this feels like this loosely held group of shifters and humans have come into their own true pack at last. And that’s a good feeling. Cal has always been a somewhat reluctant Alpha for this group. Oh, sure, he’s the oldest, he’s their boss in their Forest Ranger jobs, and he is the one that everyone brings troubles to in order to find a solution. Dictator Alpha? No way, not on his watch but they call him Alpha and this ragtag group of people have formed a unit. So when Teri’s sister is in trouble she has no hesitation in going to Cal for help… and brings the one woman he never thought to find right to him, his mate.
The Snow Leopard’s Pack is an intense, and a satisfying combination of a woman finally understanding her own worth and finally stepping out from under her obnoxious mother’s control, sisters finally understanding each other and accepting that their differences aren’t all that great, and one man discovering that he isn’t destined to be alone as he always thought. It’s got a touch of danger, several chuckle out loud moments, definitely sexy times and the sense of a loosely held group coming together to truly form a bond, a pack, a family.
I completely enjoyed Lillian and Cal’s romance. Oh sure, Lillian gave me a few “Girl, don’t be so foolish” moments, but then she’s human so I expect that at times. *grin* Overall, The Snow Leopard’s Pack was the cap on this series that held me captive from the start. I don’t know if this is the end, I’ve learned to never say “the end” with Ms. Chant’s stories – but if it is, then I’m a quite satisfied, happy reader with the people and adventures I have encountered in the Glacier Leopards series.
I would recommend this story and the entire series to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader who enjoys a touch of danger, maybe a bit of mystery, likable main characters and secondary characters who create a unique world.
I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
Lillian Lowell, a librarian who also happened to be a divorcee had been stalked by a mountain lion. Realizing that she headed straight to the Glacier National Park where her sister Teri (THE SNOW LEOPARD'S HEART) worked. Before she got there, the Lion was hot on her trail so she called her sister for help.
Cal Westland, boss of the employees at Glacier National Park and the Alpha of the Snow Leopard Pack. He was asked by Teri to help her sister Lillian even though he tend to stay away from his employees' personal lives. He couldn't do that with Teri because he always had a soft spot for her.
Cal tracked down the stalker and found out some interesting tidbits. Lillian's ex owed the moutain lion money and sense he skipped on his payment. She was targeted. Well Cal wasn't about to let anyone scared her anymore.
Lillian found herself attracted to Cal and vice versa. As they got to know each other better, they realized they were more alike than they thought. But most importantly they were mates.
The knowledge that Lillian was his mate hit Cal like a lightening bolt. Meanwhile his better half was running scared. He finally told her why she felt so connected to him. Together with the rest of the pack they rook care of the mountain lions.
It was great to catch up with old characters and meet new ones. Teri and Lillian reconnected in a way they never imagined. Cal at last accepeted his title as Alpha.
THE SNOW LEOPARD'S PACK is the fifth installment in Zoe Chant's GLACIER LEOPARDS series. It could be read as a standalone. It was wild, alluring and intoxicating.
****I received a free book from the author, without any obligation to review.****
Of all five books in the Glacier Park Pack, Cal and Lillian's has been my favorite. While being divorced and stuck living at home could have dragged her down, Lillian found ways to deal with her overbearing mother and spineless father, that is until werecats showed up looking for money her ex-husband owed them. She goes to her sister Leah who had been made into a snow leopard the year before , after meeting her soul mate for advice. Instead of advice, she got something better ;Cal, head of the Glacier pack and a snow leopard who is definitely interested in her, why ? She's not sure, but he shows her in every way he knows how, that she has worth . So join the Glacier pack for one last book and see why I believe this book deserves all 5⭐'s !! The hot shifter sex, the alpha commanding presence of Cal or Lillian's subtle way of dealing with her mother are just a few !! This is a stand alobe book but has characters that are from the first four books woven in and I believe it is a better read if read in order and they are all 4 or 5 ⭐ reads, so take the time to catch up on Zoe Chant's Glacier Park Snow Leopards. I received a gifted copy of the book and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review.
Just when I think Zoe Chant’s books can’t get any better, they do! The Snow Leopard’s Pack is book 5 of the Glacier Leopards series and it was the most moving and meaningful of all. Cal has always been the reluctant Alpha of the pack, keeping a low profile and guiding the younger shifters when they would come to him for advice. This book has him starring front and center as he meets his life mate and helps her out of a predicament brought on by her no-good ex. Throughout the entire story, you can feel Cal’s solid and gentle nature thrumming in the background and this suffuses the story with his strength and spirit. It’s a very powerful feeling and an engrossing story. Lillian’s power and determination aligns with Cal’s and leaves the reader confident that this wonderful shifter pack will be led with wisdom and love by this powerful Alpha couple. So satisfying! I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author with no obligation to review. I love that because it shows you that my review comes willingly and without pressure. If you love PNR, go read the series and get this book. You won’t regret it.
This book had more than 1 pack in it; besides the leopards there was mountain lions.
Cal is not only the Head Ranger but the Alpha of the leopards; he never thought that he would ever find his mate & had given up looking for 1.
Lillian is Teri's older sister who also has been living with their overbearing prejudiced mother because of her lowlife ex-husband & his gambling debts. & his debts play a big part of this story.
Lillian had been seeing mountain lions wherever she went & finally went to Teri to see if there was anything that she could do to help. Teri immediately thought of Cal because he's the Alpha of their pack. Teri sets up a meeting between Lillian & Cal; which also sets up as the beginning of their relationship.
This book was very good, has some sex scenes, has more than 1 pack of shifters & the previous couples from the last 4 books in this series.
Other than the mate thing, this book has a little bit of a different tone than the previous ones. There's a bigger level of unity that's great. I'm sad for Lillian's past, but she's so smart and resilient. Cal is a protective, cute, and reluctant pack alpha. They work well as a couple despite being somewhat opposites. They tend to surprise each other and it makes for great chemistry.
We get to see a little more of shifter politics as the mountain lion shifters become a problem. It's really nice to see the whole pack come together. My favorite part is the that in fact, while my least favorite is Teri and Lillian's mother's very existence. She is just toxic. Because of all this, while you could read this without having read any others, it's much better if you have.
The Snow Leopard's Pack is a feel good read about family and had a sense of semi-completion. I'd be just fine if this were the last in the series, but guess what? There's one more!
When Lillian realizes she is in danger she turns to the only person she can think of to help, her sister Teri. Cal is the unofficial alpha who is reluctant to be the authority figure for their pack. When Teri goes to Cal for help, instant attraction blooms on first meeting between Cal and Lillian. Will Lillian be able to overcome her upbringing to give Cal a chance? Will Cal step up to become the alpha the pack needs?
Was excited to read this book! After reading the first 4 books in this series, I was excited to see Cal's book. Throughout this series Cal has been a constant steady force and to read about him getting his mate was great! Lillian was definitely stronger than she realized and the fact that while under the pressure she was, she still was loving was excellent. Great book and cannot wait to read the next from Zoe Chant!

At last, Cal's book! Cal is the the reluctant and taciturn alpha of the Glacial Pack. When Lillian -sister of Teri from book 3 - is stalked by a shifter, Teri asks Cal for help. Resigned to his role, he's stunned to realize Lillian is his mate. Lillian's backstory is finally revealed and the mountain lion's beef with her is because of her ex-husband. Lillian helps Cal realize he is the alpha the pack needs but more importantly willingly chooses. Cal helps Lillian realize she's neither worthless nor alone. I didn't care much for Lillian in the prior books but I like the way her character evolves. She's definitely more than up to the challenge of being the alpha's mate. Of course this is a Zoe Chant shifter book so there's plenty of heat and action and the playfulness (of all them) in their leopard form is the the heart of every book.
4.5 Stars I received an ARC with no obligation to leave my honest review. I was so happy to see Cal get a mate and have been intrigued by him since the beginning. I really liked Cal and though he made a really good alpha. Lillian grew on me as my first impressions of her from her sisters book wasn't the greatest but after some background details I actually really liked her, she was a perfect alpha's mate. I did wish though that we had a bit more details on the issues with Lillian's mother, especially towards the end, it was addressed in the epilogue so there was some closure but I think I was expecting more, minor issue really. Little bit of drama that is resolved fairly quickly and easily, overall a great quick read.
Kindle Unlimited purchase By Zoe Chant We were introduced to Lillian during her sister () book when she met her snow leopard. Lillian is still living at home. Yes her mother makes her life miserable just like she did her sister but Lillian has a special nack so it's not to bad. For some reason, the local mountain lion pack takes an interest in her. She goes to her sister for help. Cal has been one of the major characters in this series. He does want to be the alpha matter of fact he tells the pack that. But he is the best man for the job. When he hears Lillian is having trouble with the mountain lions he doesn't care what the reason is, it's their job to protect her. Enjoyed this book. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series
Divorced librarian Lillian Lowell has been dealing with the fallout of her failed marriage for two years and can only afford to live under her overbearing mother’s roof. Aargh! Now a frightening lion shifter is trailing her around town threatening her with his presence. Lillian calls her sister, Robin for help. Robin can’t help but she does ask her boss, Cal, to look into it.
Gruff Cal Westland doesn’t know why he agreed to talk to the lions on Lillian’s behalf, he doesn’t know her! But when they meet, Cal’s certain being around Lillian is worth it. Vowing to help her get out of the deep hole she’s in has Lillian moving into Cal’s house for a few days. At least that’s how it started. Rating: 3.5stars
Throughout all of the other books in this series, we've seen Cal, the rough but kind, quiet lead park ranger, who became the defacto alpha for the snow leopards of Glacier National Park. I had always felt sorry for him for what seemed to be his self-imposed aloneness. I felt that he had a great story just waiting to get out. And I was right! When Lillian came and told him what was happening to her, I knew that he had met his mate, and that their relationship was going to be beautiful. I wish we could have seen their children. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book, and I borrowed it through the Kindle Unlimited program too.
I was so looking forward to read Cal's story and I was not disappointed! Cal is the honorary Alpha of the Glacier Leopards and he let them lead their lives as they please without his interference. All that changes when Lillian, a human and sister of one of his pack is threatened by shifters. The last thing he expects is to come face to face with his fated mate. Lillian is living with a difficult mother but due to circumstances beyon her control she is stuck in her parents home. She has gave up of the dream of marriage and children and is resign to a lonely future until she meets Cal and she dares to hope. Fantastic read! Highly recommended
ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest! When Lilian saw that Terri was mated to a snow leopard, she was happy for her sistes. She was also a little jealous. She longed to find someone to love + maybe one day have a family with. Cal thought that he would be forever a bachelor. He was surprised that Lilian was his mate. When Lilian is threatened, he will protect his mate. It is not just him, but the whole pack. This was such a sweet story. I felt like both of them got a 2nd chance on love. It was a very sweet storytelling.
This book was amazing,I loved the heroine is just a single struggling woman. I loved how she went from alone to overwhelmed with family. This heroine goes from following everyone's rules to following her heart. This is a must read if you like shifters, strong men along with strong women.
Cal and Lillian story was much better than the previous story! It was great to see Cal get his happily ever after. I could not give it five stars , because Lillian in the previous story was too close off and she agreed with her mother. What is odd to me is that none of the pairings of shifter couples had any offspring except for Jeff and his mate.
I have been on a shifter binge and that is where I found Zoe. I have enjoyed many of her books since then and am working my way through them. There are some minor editing issues in her early books but not enough to give up reading them.
With many variety of shifters who are hot and true mates I am sure you will enjoy them as much as me.
This is a great story. Loved the story with Cal the alpha and Lillian the human librarian who's been run over by everyone in her life. An exciting story. I'd recommend this book, it's another great story from Zoe Chant
Totally fantastic! Finally a story containing a mature older couple with a HEA. I loved it. It is the perfect story for this series, a conflicted Alfa, an unsure lady and the perfect ending.
Overall a very enjoyable story. Cal & Lillian story had some drama with shifters, family, and an ex but it also showed how loved evolved between a shifter and human. Sex scenes were 🔥. Recommend story.
Another winner in a good series always great sexy characters and good storyline. Two people resolved together oder alone are given a second chance to find true llove.
I never believe the sister would become a shifter, as bigoted she was as the mom. I'm glad she found her mate and got away from the mom. Didn't expect her story to be like this.
This a good story of not thinking you’ll ever have what you truly want and realizing that it may happen. It’s also a story of people taking advantage of another’s kindness.
I loved the whole Snow Leopards series! It shows how strangers can come together to form a family. I couldn't put down my kindle until I read the whole series. I loved them!
Super sweet, sexy and romantic story! Great plot with danger and suspense! Lovely characters - very sweet and kind couple with excellent chemistry! Super sweet and sexy love scene! Very well written 😍 I love it. Amazing 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
As always another very good read from Zoe Chant. Love Cal finally getting his mate. Lillian really need to have Cal's helping hand . Highly recommend this book.
This series should be read first. It fills in a lot before her second series that is built around the Glacier Leopards. I enjoyed the series and following series very much.
