Well Oiled Mechanic was a fast-pace short novel. This steamy read could be finished in a couple hours. Brad and Olivia had instant chemistry and fell for each other in no time. I liked that the author gave us a storyline in addition to all the steamy scenes. I loved that Olivia was able to handle herself after what happened. Likable characters, romance, family drama and lots of steamy scenes makes this a short but enjoyable read.

Olivia and Brad are heating up the Santa Fe desert with their steamy and sexy HEA! Olivia is trying to find her bliss. She has set out on a cross country road trip in hopes that she finds something somewhere that will ease her mind. She comes from a narrow minded east coast family whose strict thoughts and life plans were just not for her. She is an artist and her family has never understood her and certainly never supposed such a flighty career. So she packed her bags and headed west. While a good in thought - in practice it has left her broke and currently with a broken car 2 miles outside the nearest town. When she gets to the nearest garage she is met by its gruff but handsome owner Brad Jones. When Brad was closing up his shop for the weekend and Olivia Storm comes in looking for help he is initially miffed but the more time he spends with the her he finds she is the exact opposite of the rich girl persona he expected and he is intrigued. Brad decides to make a pseudo faustian deal with Olivia - he'll fix her car if she gives him everything he desires. Considering that she wants the same things it should be a classic win win...right? Soon they find they are falling deeper and deeper but will the Uptown Girl fall for her Mechanic?

I really liked this story. It was a sweet read, and had just the right pace, the right amount of humor, and just enough steam!

Brad has worked hard to get where he is. Owning his own garage was his pride and joy. He had his choice of the ladies in town, but never wanted anything more than some quick fun. Until she walked in. His damsel in distress and his complete undoing. She's only passing through but, will he be able to let her go? Can he just enjoy her company for the short time she's in town?

Olivia is on her cross-country quest to find herself and chase her dream of becoming an artist. A quest her parents disapprove. They've cut her off. When her car breaks down, leaving her stranded in a strange town, she finds herself at Brad's garage, hoping he can fix it and she can get back on the road. But, she can't deny the attraction she has to him. Can she throw caution into the wind and just have a quick fling until she leaves? Will she be able to leave at all? Or, will her heart make her stay?

I enjoyed this story and look forward to Aria's next book!

I really enjoyed this book it kept me up late at night to read it, Olivia is a girl with very rich parents and what they say goes but she has had a enough and decides to travel and work on her drawings and paintings as she goes along but luck was not on her side when her Jeep broke down with aid of a lady she got a lift to the only garage in town but it was late and it was closing but the guy looked at her and like what he saw and decided to tow her Jeep back to the shop and would have a look on Monday so for now she needed a place to stay and cheap and Brad drove her to the cheapest one in town, once there she got a room and was heading to it when brad asked her out to dinner she said yes he said I’ll be back to get you in a little while, she was excited to go out with him because he was hot as , while getting ready she thought about all the naughty things she could do to him anyway he came and got her and she couldn’t take her eyes of him he was even hotter all cleaned up now, she was really in trouble as her hormones where going crazy but looking at Brad he had the same look on his face about her and so dinner was amazing and they got along so well Olivia hoped he would like to come back to her room with her but was to shy to ask but she didn’t have to worry because brad asked to walk her to her room once there Olivia said thank you for dinner I had a lonely time he said no worries and leaned in to kiss her and the sparks where flying the tension was so hot once they entered the room they couldn’t keep there hands to them selves and made mad passionate love, sex, lust the next morning brad was gone but what a great night, what will happen once her Jeep is fixed, will she stay or move on, will they get together read this book it is amazing you will love it. Olivia is following her passion and is driving from New York where she left her very unhappy and disappointed parents behind, but when she hits Santa Fe, money is starting to disappear and when her Jeep breaks down, a passerby gives her a lift to the local garage. Once at the garage, she sees Brad and instantly wants to be under him instead of him under her Jeep.

Brad sees Olivia walk into his garage and immediately thinks he will get paid on this repair, but as he slowly learns of her situation, he realizes he will have to take payments. He will take her to dinner to get her settled into the area since she doesn't know anyone in the area. But at dinner, he quickly wants more with Olivia and feels drawn to her in a way he is not used to. Can they enjoy each other for the short time she is in town? Will she leave as soon as her Jeep is done? Does she have the same feelings for him? Will her parents ever understand her and her dreams?

This book has scandal, drama, a leading lady coming out of her shell and an alpha male that is willing to help her, and let's not forget the steamy scenes and the HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

rvcd an advanced reader copy from the author for giving my two cents. i quite enjoyed this book. we meet Olivia, rich girl from NYC who is stuck on the site of the highway in Sante Fe, New Mexico down on her luck. she is dropped off at the nearest mechanic to only come face to face with a man who makes her nether regions quiver! hawt damn! brad, owner of the mechanic shop is stunned to see a put together girl in his shop. first impression is that she is beautiful but rich and he doesnt go for those type of girls. brad asks olivia out of dinner as he feels bad for her situation and boom...their chemistry explodes. both are having fun. olivia is officially cut off from her parents for taking this road trip and wanting to pursue her art. she doesnt know how she will pay for her car but she will figure it out. brad suggests spending time together in exchange for fixing her car. a girl like olivia doesnt do stuff like that but she accepts. will they be able to keep their feelings out of it since olivia is only in town a short while? will her parents come after her? will brad face his fears and emotions?

Olivia is on a road trip across the US against her parents wishes because she's trying to make them see that her passion and talent is being an artist. They don't think that's a practical career but her heart is telling her that this is what she's supposed to do with her life. Along the way she breaks down near Santa Fe and this sheltered rich girl isn't sure what to do next. Then she meets the hottest mechanic she's ever seen and he's nice enough to give her a tow and to work on her car. Brad is in lust at first sight when he sees Olivia but he knows she's a rich girl and just passing through so he's not gonna waste time on her but he finds himself coming up with reasons to be around her. He knows that they don't have much time together but he knows that she's special and he wants to spend all the time he can with her until her car is fixed and she's on the road again. The more time they spend together, the more they know there's something between them and maybe they should pursue it! Is Brad gonna be left with a broken heart when Olivia leaves or is Olivia finally where she's supposed to be?

Very good story

I loved this story. Read it in about 2 hours. I have liked the last three books I have read by this author. You can connect to the characters.
Overview. Olivia was from New York. She decided she no longer wanted to live the life her parents wanted. She majored in art and her parents wanted her to go back to school and have a career not her "hobby" of art. So she packed up and left. But her jeep broke down in Santa Fe. The mechanic Brad decided to help her out. Brad liked this girl for some reason, so he decided that would date her as will as work out a payment plan. As they got closer, Olivia's family got more determined to separate her from them and the life she wanted. But between Brad supporting her and Clara (her art gallery boss) she ended up make a life out of her art and finding love.

Olivia is a free spirit from a strict, wealthy and narrow minded east coast family. They were not in favor of her desire to be an artist so they cut her off financially. So she set off on a cross country trip in quest of her dream. Out of money and a broken down jeep she finds her self at a garage begging for help. Bradley the mechanic and owner of the garage came to her rescue. They were immediately attracted to each other and made a deal she could hang around and please him and he would fix her car. He was a one and done kinda guy, but there was something about Olivia. No spoiler here - but a good read with great characters.

I give this book 5 stars. The storyline between Olivia and Brad was well written and I recommend this book. Olivia is a rich girl running away from her family, to make her dreams come true as a Artist. She only get to Santa Fe when her Jeep broke down. Brad is an ex-con who towed car to where he is a Mechanic and owner. She has very little money. When he sees her car, clothes and luggage, he thinks she is a spoiled rich women. This was a fast pasted, outstanding story. It is extremely well written and the flow of the story is superb. I loved characters Olivia and Brad. They have great chemistry and it was explosive from the start. Olivia is very independent and very passionate. She is a perfect female lead where she is able to handle things on her own. Brad is very much an alpha male with a very strong personality and has extreme confidence. This is definitely worth reading and it won't disappoint. Olivia is leaving New York and her family a very wealthy one but they don't support her interest in art are have cutting her of financial. So when her car breaks down she accept a lift to the nearest mechanic. Here she meets the owner Brad and the two of them gets attracted to each other right away. Is there hope for Olivia? It was such a sweet love story. Olivia is amazing and Brad is a wonderful guy. I was well entertained all trough the book and I loved it

Olivia is tired of her parents directing her life, so she runs away, only she doesn't get far. She ends up broken down on the side of the road with very little by the way of means to get her further. Brad, the mechanic, and her click almost immediately, but both are worried that Olivia's stay in town won't be long enough to see how far things can go between them.

This is a nice, tidy romance with a bit of family drama and a lot of steam.

I loved this book.. Olivia was a rich girl who was lonely. She had her parents but they didn’t support her in any way she loved her career and her art and all they wanted was for her to be a lawyer or an accountant.. she meets Brad as her car breaks down and the chemistry is off the charts.. Brad is a bad boy that’s been though so much but became the owner of a garage so he was the only mechanic in town always busy but on the weekends he would use woman as a stress believer
