Hi! I'm Simone Scarlet, and thanks for checking out my author page!

I was originally born and brought up in a cathedral city in England, but moved to America a few years ago. I've always written erotica, and have been published in magazines like Hustler and Jacques on both sides of the Atlantic.

I have an INCREDIBLY eclectic range of sexual tastes, and most of them find their way into my stories in one way or another! Most of my adventures are based around a fictional married couple, Gina and Simon, and the crazy and explicit adventures they have.

I'm really turned on by slutty wives, cuckold husbands, interracial erotica and good, old-fashioned orgies and gangbangs. I have a particular kink for impregnation and breeding; and you'll find many of my heroines aren't as careful about their birth control options as I recommend you be in real life!

I am also turned on by the idea of sexual reluctance, or even out-and-out rape fantasies. It's not that I want to get raped - just that rape fantasy is a way to explore wild and kinky sexual activities without getting labeled a "slut" for wanting them.

I hope you enjoy my stories, and welcome any feedback or suggestions on how to make them better!

Amnesia mix with science and second chance romance. Couple in crisis where he is writer of erotic books and she's a scientist. The story is interesting and a little weird at the same time. Acceptable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Second-Chance Romance, but with a difference.

I have never seen this done in a book before and I was held from start to finish.

She could remember every thing she'd done in her life, every place she'd visited, but she couldn't remember a single thing about her husband or any of the life they've shared over the last 13 years.

This tells the story of how she comes to fall in love with her husband all over again and show how good they were together, but that had always been the case... hadn't it?

The twist and shocker comes, when you realise how and why she's lost all memory of him.

I won't say too much more because of spoilers, but trust me on this, you won't be disappointed.

It finishes with answers as to how and why, but once you get to the end and think OMG, Simone gives you the chance to get the bonus 'final' chapter. The absolute closure to this story.

I've downloaded it, but I really don't know if I want to read it or not.

So make yourself a brew, sit yourself down and lose yourself in this book. It really is worth taking the time.

For others like myself that may read other books from this author for a "specific type of risqué sexual genre" this book is a little different but well worth the read. All of us have things we love about our spouse and then there are things we "think" we wish we could forget but what if you have the chance to decide what you want to remember. Would you take that chance? This book follows the marriage of Catherine and her husband Malcolm with multiple twists that will provide some thought provoking ideas and ends in a cliffhanger of sorts. The author gives her readers the chance to decide (like Catherine) whether they choose to know what happens. I will admit that I decided to download the "bonus" epilogue and was glad I did. This was a very good book to read!

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

How can a person forget her husband and not her two kids. Is that possible? Catherine Banks, a professor of neurology has developed an unexplained memory loss. She could remember everything but the handsome stranger in her room. The stranger is her husband for thirteen years but her memory of him is nonexistent. The story is well written with strong complex characters in an unusual twist of fate and suspense? Malcolm Banks is a romance writer, a doting husband and a great father with a great concern for his wife. He wants to find resolution to his wife seizure activity and amnesia afterwards. Can Malcolm find the problem to Catherine situation? Will Catherine regains her memory?

Catherine Banks is a brilliant professor of neurology, struggling with amnesia. She can remember everything about her life, except for her husband who she’s been married to for thirteen years.
Malcom is married to Catherine, and he is a successful author who writes steamy novels.
Well written, with some fascinating twists to it. I love how this author weaves a story, and draws you into it alongside of the characters. This book was a journey into the hidden recesses of the mind, and I’m so happy I was lucky enough to get an exclusive arc to read.
Well worth the read, and I love love loved the ending. No spoilers from me, but this book is definitely worth a read.

I'm really enjoying Simone Scarlet's writing style and this is another book that once you pick it up, you won't put it down until you finish. Its such an unique storyline that captures your attention straight away.

The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that info here. By reading the blurb it enchanted me. I think this book was erotic hot, it had well written plot and well developed characters. The author did a good job with the storyline to keep you reading.

I enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to reading more books from this author. I received a copy of the book from the author and chose to write a review for other readers.

This was quite heart pulling and different than any amnesia story I've read. Catherine who is a professor of neurology wakes up in the hospital after a seizure. She remembers everything and everyone except her husband. She even remembers places she went to with him, but not him. Lots of mystery, drama and surprises. An enthralling read. No spoilers here. I voluntarily chose to review an advance reader copy of this book.

This is definitely an unique second chance romance! Simone Scarlet's books have quickly become favorites of mine. She knows how to weave a story that hooks you with great, well-developed characters with twists that keep you turning the page. The ending alone is worthy of a one-click. I'm sure you'll enjoy this story!! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this as an ARC.
This book was a great book about getting to know someone again after having only forgotten them. What happens when you have everything you ever wanted, a beautiful home, kids and a prestigious job. A handsome husband? Wait, who is that guy that has that British accent. He claims he is my husband but I don't remember him or anything to do with him.

Summary

I chose this rating because I couldn't put down the book. This book was an interesting study on how the brain can be manipulated to change the perspective of the way things happened in life without losing memories. I would recommend this book to others.

This one of the rare books that I have rated at a 5 Stars. Amnesia has always fascinated me along with how fragile the human psyche really is. As a nurse, I can tell you that she really did her research on the affliction as well as the "patient's" response to finding herself in the situation. Add into the mix, (the traumatic nature of how Catherine's affliction affects her) and you have a whole host of improbabilities upon improbabilities that IS true of the amnesia sufferer. This book has little something for all readers, thriller, mystery, romance, erotica, science...and is masterfully crafted in the hands of Ms. Scarlett. This author continues to delight and surprise me with each new book. And to say that I will continue to read her and review for her is most certainly a given.

I received an advanced reader copy(ARC) of this book and voluntarily left posted review.
