Thomas Ott (Zurich, 1966) estudió Bellas Artes de 1982 a 1987. Gracias a su capacidad de crear atmósferas mediante su inimitable técnica, pronto se hizo un nombre en el panorama del cómic underground europeo. Ott dota a sus historietas mudas de una iluminación brutalmente impresionista que funciona en perfecta simbiosis con el tono angustioso de lo que en ellas se narra.

"Thomas Ott was born in Zürich in 1966. He received training as a graphic artist at the School of Design in Zürich and has been a free-lance comics artist and illustrator since 1987. From 1998-2001 Ott attended film studies at the University of Art and Design (HGK), Zürich. He currently lives and works in Zürich and Paris. I really love Ott's works, but I think it's not one of his best books. The stories have some elements of fantasy to create terror instead of scaring "real" situations. Anyway, he's a master of the drawing art.
