"Men, move out!"

Sheena hates it when soldiers come into the jungle looking for their surveyor. I like how she refers to them as "cowodi," meaning cowards. Talk about the female Tarzan!

One of my goodreads friends had recommend me this book and I was not sure what to except because I have never really ever tried to read any of the Queen of the Jungle series. I am glad that I got the recommendation because it was a good short read. I really needed a book like this to read because with all the books that I am currently reading right now some of those books are kind of long. It was a nice book to get away from with the other books that I am reading. I liked everything about this book. I will have to check out the rest of the series soon because this was a good book. I would recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a short book to read in between books.

Sheena has to deal with an evil mining corporation threatening her village. This issue has Sheena swinging around the jungle. The art is nice and we get introduced to the main players in this series. Recommended for fans of pulp and jungle stories.

Beautiful art, absolutely beautiful, and a story that's all about conservation of animals and the jungle. It's definitely gonna be a book I check out for at least another issue or two as the story develops. If nothing else that art is fire!

The adventures of Tarzan told with Sheena in the starring role as the Queen of the jungle. Provides ample chances to put her up in animal skin Victoria's Secret attire.

In terms of story this rans alongside the early Tarzan tales with a ruthless corporation hellbent on mining tribal areas. Fran Cho's Jungle Girl held a more efficient story.

The art is good.
