Bad Boy Brody

One punch took him from Hollywood’s Golden Boy to Bad Boy Brody.

The media didn’t care he was grieving his brother’s death. They descended on him, but to change his reputation, his manager got him a deal.

Act in an indie film, one that already had Oscar buzz, and he’d get the movie roles he needed to secure his future.

He took the deal.

Yet he wasn’t prepared for the real-life people behind the script. He wasn’t prepared for the murder the movie was based on. And he really wasn’t prepared for her, the biggest secret of all.

She was wild. She was beautiful. She defied gravity.

But was she the leading role that would tame him?

KITTY KATS CRAZY ABOUT BOOKS

BAD BOY BRODY: Is a full length, New Adult, standalone Novel by Tijan. Spoken in 3rd POV The Heroine (Morgan) the Hero (Brody) and Mathew (Morgan’s brother)

Seemingly over night Brody Asher went from Hollywoods Golden Boy to Hollywood’s Bad boy in the blink of an eye after he loses his brother in a tragic car accident, Brody went off the rails, wallowing, drinking, mourning, and whoring his public image had gone down the gurglars, to reel him back in line his manager cast him into a new leading role playing Peter Kellerman, in the middle of Montana.

The movie 'unbroke' is based on the murder of Karen Kellerman

It’s been four years since the three Kellerman siblings have been under the same roof together, Morgan was ten years old when things fell apart, when Morgan’s mother was murdered, everyone she loved just disappeared, as a result Morgan closed herself off and lived amongst a herd of wild mustangs in the mountains. They became her family. Hidden away from the rest of the world, not many know that she even exists. An enigma. A recluse who hasn’t spoken to her siblings for many years.

She was beautiful. She was wild. She was the untamed one. Unbroke.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

It's not until she shows her self to Brody, because like her horses he makes her feel safe, from two completely different worlds, they bond and heal each other is when the true magic happens, you see Morgan changing right before your eyes, from a scared closed off woman to a brave and beautiful soul.

Like a fairy tale this would've been every little girls dream, to live amongst a wild herd of mustangs, to be wild and free, I guarantee you will not be able to compare this book to anything you've read ever before, be prepared to be taken on a unique journey.

This book was everything I hoped for!!!!!!!

There are only a couple of authors I can rely on to write stories that speak to me every single time. Tijan is one of them. I still remember reading A Whole New Crowd and how I was blown away. I was sucked in and instantly a fan of the author’s writing. That was the beginning, I haven’t regretted it once.

With Bad Boy Brody Tijan wrote a story that spoke to me in more ways than I can count.

I was fanatically in love with horses when I grew up.

I love an awesome Hollywood story.

And I’m a romantic at heart.

If that works for you – you better one click this book.:D Bad Boy Brody was fantastic from beginning to end.

Morgan was my super hero. She was beyond awesome. Her relationship with her mustangs made my skin break out in goosebumps. I loved her. Not only for her strong, unique and resilient personality, but also for the way she connected to Brody. They were two broken souls but they had this connection that was beyond beautiful. They knew each other in a profound and intense way – that was heartwarming and touching.

Brody, the bad boy, was a real delight. He stole my heart from the start with his sincere, and astute personality. Even though he was a Hollywood heartthrob, he was smart, hardworking and kind. He fit the Hollywood image to a T, but surprised the heck out of me on more than one occasion. Of course he charmed the pants off every female he met but him and Morgan worked in a way that left me in a state of romantic bliss.

And then there were the horses.

Boy, I’m still smiling. When I was younger, I would have given anything to have the connection that Morgan had with her horses. Every girl dreams of this. And now reading this book, was like turning back time. Tijan, thank you so much for making mustangs a central point of this story. I once rode a mustang during my equestrian class, he was a stunning picture of raw power and all he wanted to do was RUN. I wish they could be still as free and plentiful as they have once been.

So, with everything said, Bad Boy Brody was sweet, romantic, enchanting, and just a story that needs to be read. If you haven’t read any of Tijan’s books yet, this is the book to start with. It was everything a romance lover like myself is looking for. A MUST READ!!!

Title: Bad Boy Brody
Author: Tijan
Genre: Contemporary Romance, New Adult
Publication Date: May 7, 2018

ARC

Three words: Raw, Wild and Incredible.
I honestly haven't found a book written by Tijan that I haven't enjoyed.
I don't know how she does it but she has done it again. Bad Boy Brody was truly an unexpected Gem. Honestly, I was expecting a rather cliché but fun book but Bad Boy Brody is incredible.

I'd like to believe that my spirit animal is a horse (plus side, my Chinese horoscope says that I'm born in the year of the horse. Coincidence? I think not. LOL! ), so it's no surprise that this book touched a piece of my soul.
It's hard to explain the true gravity of Bad Boy Brody...it's wild and raw.
Morgan is a character like you've never read. Her connection with the mustangs is out of this world! As you read the pages of the book, you can feel the electrifying connection, the jolt of love, the humbling experience between Morgan and her mustangs, who she considers her family. I have never a character like Morgan before, she is undeniably unique and her story is undoubtedly captivating.

Brody, Brody, Brody... oh how I loved Brody!
Such a dreamboat yet unbelievably real! I loved his dedication, his loyalty but most of all his acceptance to embrace the fact that Morgan isn't like any other woman...that she is thoroughly unique and beautiful in her own way.

Bad Boy Brody is hands down an absolutely spell bindingly good read.
I ugly cried my heart out especially during the last few chapters. Tijan, I felt it all... The love, the sacrifice, the loss but most of all, the freedom.....it was powerful, wild and freeing!

I can't recommend this book enough... I highly recommend Bad Boy Brody...

Happy Reading!

I am a big fan of Tijan and I absolutely loved the "Fallen Crest High" series, and some of her other YA books. So I had to give this one a try....I mean the title says "Bad Boy" and I love myself some bad boys ;)

Now while I enjoyed reading this one, it wasn't my favorite by this author. It just felt a bit unrealistic to me. Normally that´s not a problem, because I know this is fiction and not reality, but I just didn´t feel a strong connection with the MC´s for some reason. I guess it might be because, even though I love horses... I don't feel the same way about them as Morgan did. It was a bit too much for me...

Brody is a famous actor. Ever since a tragedy hit his life a couple of months ago, he has been known as Hollywood's "Bad Boy". Time to clean up his act. He has been casted to play a major role a new movie and they are about to start filming, he better not mess it up or it's game over... He wasn't prepared for the mystery girl haunting the filming grounds though...along with the mustangs...

Ever since her family fell apart, when Morgan´s mom was murdered, she has been living with a herd of wild mustangs. The rest of her family left her behind, leaving the house to her and her nannies. When she was old enough, she moved into an appartment made in the barn. She finished her high school degree, but she did it from home..all her schooling has been from home and online. So she doesn´t really know how to interact with people.... Horses is all she knows... That´s all about to change though.

Like I said, I enjoyed reading it, but I just couldn't take it too seriously. That said, I can't wait for the next book Tijan writes ;)

Welp! That got my attention! It's always great to be able to identify with the main characters on a personal level. Bad Boy Brody and I are off to an EXCELLENT start!

And we ended on such a high! Tijan’s writing grips me. Her stories excite and amaze. I highly recommend it!

I was overjoyed when I got this ARC from the author but it has no impact on my honest review.

4,5 stars

Bad Boy Brody by Tijan is …unexpected. The very good kind of unexpected!

Honestly I dove in this story completely blind. I had requested the advanced reading copy as soon as I had heard about it because I love Tijan’s books. Mason is one of my top book boyfriends and earlier in the year Tijan turned my world upside down with Ryan’s Bed. I needed another fix!

I expected the bad boy act from the up and coming actor.

I did not expect Morgan.

She was THE unexpected factor to take this story from good to really unique!

But let’s have some structure in this review.

The plot

Brody was about to become Hollywood’s next best thing when his brother died in a car accident. Brody heard it all and was traumatized. You have grief and grieving Brody is an @hole. Fighting, drinking, sleeping with everyone with a skirt …you get it.

What can be tolerated for a time soon became insufferable and he was endangering his career. That’s why his manager had him film an indie “Oscar worthy” movie in the middle of Montana.
“Overnight, I had gone from Hollywood’s heartthrob to their bad boy. And that brought us to the whole reason I was being driven to somewhere I didn’t want to be to work on a movie I didn’t want to be a part of. “

The storyline is around Karen Kellerman’s murder.

His manager will dote on him like a mother and will pray he stops his shenanigans.

No manager wants to see his protégé sinks into an abysmal well and be forgotten by adoring fans right?

Unexpectedly a life altering encounter with a wild girl will take Brody out of his self-destructive path.

The girl is like a ghost.

Silent. Riding horses bareback nearly invisible when hidden in the mane of her four- legged sister.

Never seen if she does not want to. She sees all and ears everything.

The girl will visit Brody in his sleep. Never to be caught if she does not want to.

Who is the mysterious girl? The one he feels a deep connection with. The one Brody just needs to meet.

Why does Brody feel like Mathew one of the property’s owners is hiding something?

So many questions, so much secrets for what should have been only work but will soon feel much more personal.

That’s it for the plot as I don’t want to spoil your fun!

The characters

Morgan just added a poetic dimension to this story. She is half human and half horse. She is untamed. She rides horses and lives among them to be free, to be safe. They never abandoned her. She has an inhuman quality with a heightened sense of smell and acute hearing. She also has a “super hero” tinge and can jump balconies from several stories without breaking a leg. She is like a creature of legend in this part of Montana. A story you tell on cold winter’s nights around the fireplace face filled with wonder.
“I was given human privileges, ones that I never took for granted. My mother’s inheritance granted them to me. I was able to stay where I was. I could avoid humans as much as necessary. Some knew about me. Some whispered about me.”

Innocent and pure in many ways she won’t play coy. She is real. She doesn’t play games.

If she wants something she’ll go for it. And she wants Brody…

Brody was not really a bad boy. He was far from some egotistical heroes with an ego the size of the earth. No Brody was a good buy at heart he was just grieving in his own way. Once he saw Morgan he’ll do everything he can to know her and to protect her. His biggest problem will be not to fall in love because Morgan’s life and his life can’t work together.

She is living with the herd. Free, untamed. While he will be touring the world to make movies.

The angst and the suspense

Well you have a villain in the story. Or rather several villains. One in shades of grey but you thought he was black and a second one really well hidden, lurking in a dark corner.

There is a secret around the murder of Morgan’s mom.

Something nasty and threatening.

The angst does not come from bad communication and misunderstanding between the main characters thanks to Morgan’s bluntness. It comes from the uncertainty around their future together. Morgan will never be happy without her horses, without the wilderness. Brody’s future is all set and is taking him on every continent to make movies.
“She is wild in her heart. You cannot tame her. You will never be able to take her with you on your next acting gig. You travel constantly. You go everywhere, all over the world. You’re from two completely opposite worlds. You’ll never fully fit in with hers, and she’ll never fully fit in with yours.”

So what will happen?

Bad Boy Brody is an original story filled with loveable and unusual characters wrapped in a light shade of angst with a zest of suspense.

Recommend it?

Of course if you already love Tijan and if you don’t know her yet this would be a perfect book to begin your love story.

Are you a fan of Tijan?
Thanks for reading!

3.5 Run Wild and Free Stars

Bad Boy Brody is a standalone and is Tijan’s latest new release. I love Tijan’s books, it’s always emotional, beautiful and heart-warming.

Bad Boy Brody is about nature, second chances and finding something that was once lost. Everyone likes a come-back story and everyone likes it when two different people fall for each other.

Brody is a Hollywood Actor and he’s on the set of his newest film. I love books that are set in the wild. I personally don’t like the outdoors, but I love to read about them. Brody is an interesting character. He’s dealing with his brother’s death and just trying to survive. I get the whole angry with the world attitude and I was ready for him to get whipped into shape. The drinking was a major turn-off, but added to his bad-boy factor.

Then there’s Morgan. I can honestly say she is a unique character and I’ve never read a Heroine like her before. It was a bit difficult to understand her. She’s not your typical person, she’s wild and free and lives with the horses. Okay, she has an apartment in the barn, but she spends most of her time with the horses.

The book is highly unrealistic, but you take it for what it is, a story about two unique souls trying to find something, you just don’t know what until you keep on reading. The beginning is a bit hard to understand, there’s a lot of characters thrown at you and you are wondering who is related to who and who is working for who, but eventually enough is explained and I got on with the story.

What I did like was that there wasn’t any underlying angst that made me want to pull my hair out. I felt like the story flowed and there was always something keeping me on my toes. There’s a mysterious vibe to the book too that will keep you glued to the pages. I felt the chemistry between Brody and Morgan was there, but I did struggle to accept her character, she might have been too different for me. I think it was the whole wild and free thing.

Other than that, it’s a beautiful story and who doesn’t love a Hollywood actor kind of book?

Bad Boy Brody is a book I'm not honestly sure I know how to describe. Morgan and Brody were very different characters and I wasn't too sure at first if they would mix together very well but I was proved wrong about that. They had some really interesting chemistry and after a few scenes together I could tell that they had the kind of connection that would keep them together through anything. Which I really liked about them and this story.

I did struggle with Morgan's character though. I can honestly say I've never read a character like her before, which in the end was a good thing, but throughout the book there were moments that I just didn't understand her. She lived with wild horses, which I thought was cool, but sometimes the way she was being portrayed was a little too odd for me. Like how she supposedly had super hearing or something making me almost think this book was taking a weird paranormal turn and she was really a were-horse (joking by the way).

The added drama at the end also kind of confused me because I felt like everything that was being hinted at during the story was then contradicted by the ending. There were extra storylines and randomness just being thrown in there at the end it seemed and it kind of lost my interest a bit.

Overall, I can definitely say that this is one of the most unique books I've read in a very long time. There were a lot of things I liked about it and there were some things that I didn't like but in the end it was a story that kept me intrigued. If you're looking for something probably out of your comfort zone, this is the book I would recommend.

I went into BAD BOY BRODY blindly, thinking it was a book about a bad boy motocross racer. I was so wrong. This story was nothing like I expected; it was so much more. Bad Boy Brody is the HEARTFELT ROMANCE of a broken hero, heroine, and the horses who help them become whole together. A touching tale intertwined with the unbreakable bond of family, Bad Boy Brody brims with SMOLDER , SWEETNESS, and SUSPENSE in a story felt everywhere.

”Ever been haunted? Because I have. I am. You aren’t the only ghost here.”

“I’m not a ghost?”

“That’s yet to be proven.”

Brody and Morgan, the heartfelt hero and heroine, so beautiful and so broken, are opposites who complement each other—perfectly imperfect but perfect together. Their story is a slow burn that blazes everywhere. You’ll fall hard in love with the spirited and heartwarming horses as you will the endearing hero and heroine. These horses are four-legged family with keen awareness and a six sense about their human caretakers and they made this story shine brighter.

She was beautiful.
She was wild.
She was the untamed one.
Unbroke.

An original, enchanting, and ethereal-woven journey of love and light after darkness, Bad Boy Brody makes you want to grab onto every opportunity, take risks, open your heart to love, and live life to the fullest. INTOXICATING. INTRIGUING. INSPIRATIONAL. Tijan Meyer writes such raw and riveting stories like Bad Boy Brody, always UNIQUE and UNPUTDOWNABLE, which FEEL SO REAL. I am always left wanting ... NEEDING MORE.

”You feel that?”

So, this one didn't work for me. It was an ok read, good writing. Now for the other things.

I didn't connect with either main character. At all. Brody was an actor, a manwhore and grieving his brother. In the first part of the story he's drinking his memories and guilt away. He slept with every woman imaginable. Every actress he was working with, his ex-manager and even his future sister in law. On set there were 2 woman who he slept with in the past. And he proposed to the director of the movie, but she declined him. That was so not attractive. I get it, he's an actor and very attractive and has muscles. But come on! That's so cliché.

The Heroine was all right I guess. I just don't believe her story. About spending all her time in the wilderness, without coming "home" for months. Spending time with her wild horses all the while acting like one. She has special hearing and smelling, can climb anything and survives out in the elements. I can't believe it. It's way over the top for me.
She even baths in the river, without any shampoo, conditioner. And she doesn't wear perfume or a deodorant. But she's so super beautiful and her hair all shiny and wild. She doesn't even need feminine hygiene products. Because according to her, the way she lives her live, she doesn't get periods and because of that she can't get pregnant. And this leads to unprotected sex all the time, without any discussion of STD's on his part (the manwhore). She just had one encounter, and it wasn't so memorable.

So we have an experienced manwhore with a near virgin, again.

The support characters were irritating. I hated the Director of the movie, and the Hero's assistant.

I have no idea how old everyone is. Was never mentioned.

The relationship between the Hero and Heroine was purely lust and attraction for me. They have no real interaction and then wooms they start sleeping together. And they don't stop. All they do is spend time in bed together. No discussions about feelings / future / interests. I can't see them together in the long haul.

Then we have the "separation" of a few months. Here the same issue, I don't know how long they were apart. Points to the Hero for staying celibate. He missed her, but he wouldn't go to her. In the end a near tragedy moved his lazy and pouting ass to her, and boom they are together once again.

Then we have the epilogue. It's just another chapter. Nothing is resolved. They say the "I love you" to each other and she goes off with him for his next project. But what about their lives, how do they spend it in the real world? Is she really ready to live this way again? Will they marry? Have children? What about their future?

So many unanswered questions. It was such an abrupt ending, leaving so many things in the open.

So 2 stars for me. It wasn't anything special and I just couldn't believe it. Even if it's fiction, I just need some semblance of reality.

3.5 Stars!!

She was beautiful. She was wild. She was the untamed one.

In Bad Boy Brody, we follow Brody- a really popular actor who is - SHOCKER

A BAD BOY....

Didnt see that coming did ya??

He one day gets a phone call from his brother and hears him die while on the phone with him. That leads Brody down an even worse "bad boy road." His agent gets him a part in a B movie to try and bring up his ratings and the good movie offers back.

He takes the deal which will be a true story of how a popular woman rancher Karen Kellerman is murdered leaving behind a husband and step children. Brody shows up to the set and sees a girl (Morgan Kellerman) - who usually is a ghost to everyone else- among the horses.

Little does Brody know. She has a tragic story of her own.

I enjoyed this book. Its Tijan- its hard not to get invested in her emotionally driven characters. I thought everything flowed smooth and it was a great story to read. I felt the characters had depth and the story even had a bit of mystery about it.

My only "little bitty" issue with it was Morgan. She just fell flat a little for me. She lives among the horses and has a relationship with nature that some of us could only dream of tapping into. I loved that aspect, but she came across as dull and kind of boring. She was amazing with the horses and I get that she is supposed to seem sort of skittish like a horse but she just wasn't that relatable and I had a hard time finding a connection with her character. I loved Brody- and thought the side characters were great as well. I just would have liked to see Morgan come out of her shell a little bit more.

Overall Tijan usually rocks my world with every.single.one of her books so it was still enjoyable and I would still recommend :P

I love Tijan, for the most obvious of reasons (Fallen Crest High series) and less obvious ones, that talk to me alone...I like the story in general, I liked the emotional magic and connection between the heroine - Morgan Kellerman , a young woman who grew reclused from the people, by being a part of the wilderness among Mustangs...
She was beautiful. She was wild. She was the untamed one.

and yet she held that connection as a safeline to keep her sane from hurt, and tragedy of a teribble loss, she witnessed. This was her haven. Wild horses were the substitute for the affection that was taken away from her, and she groomed her heart to being this wild spirited one and free...away from the human's worst side...

So, when her half-siblings bring a movie crew, allowing them to make a movie about that tragic event, Morgan is unwillingly drawn to the public, but first she's drawn to the main man - a hotshot moviestar, Hollywood bad boy - Brody Asher , but what she sees is NOT his fame, hence she doesn't even know him in that light, BUT the fact that his eyes carry the same amount of pain and burden, she held with herself.

Brody is spiralling fast, ever since his brother Kyle died in a car accident while Brody was with him on the line, he hasn't found peace, he hasn't been himself and he lost track between being stupified drunk or sexed out and not worth the damn...and then he saw her - wild and resless, untamed and beautiful, an apparition of a sort...and he was hooked with the force he couldn't fight against, she spoke to him on a level of peace he never thought to find again, and then more...he never expected to feel again
She is wild in her heart. You cannot tame her. You will never be able to take her with you on your next acting gig. You're from two completely opposite worlds. You'll never fully fit in with hers, and she'll never fully fit in yours.

and that being the biggest obstacle in their way of being together...
Too fucking late. I fell. I'm in. I'm all in.
I have to try. I'm so far gone that I'll regret it more if I walk.

and yet, for Morgan it's not that simple to turn it all off, to walk away from her safe net, from her haven and shelter...and she can't alow him to risk it all, either
"You have the world at your fingertips. You can't give it up by staying in one place."
"And you can't come with me."

when two opposite world collide, held by the magneting need and connection, when they shatter together, they disperse into one another, but their safe buble can't hold for long...or can it? The sacrifice, the choices...what will it take to hold them together...

Honestly, I think that the title to this story should be smth in lines of Wild thing Morgan lol, cause I felt that, in fact, I am postitive of this wonderful character being the centerpiece of this beautiful story with a deeper sideline in the background...

There was a part of me that would remain wild. But there was a part of me that remembered I was also human, and that was what Brody unleashed before he left...

and the greatness of her choice, and decision of growth while sacrificing it all...only proves what I stated in the sentences above...

I ached for them, but there was no regret in my body. I loved him. I chose him. I shook my head because he was my new chapter.

ALL THE STARS!!!
#1 Read of 2018!
What a freaking ride!

Once upon a time there was a girl who dreamed of running with horses...but that dream never came true...until now! Tijan, you have made it possible for my childlike dreams to come true, for at least a day!

Bad Boy Brody is a story within its own subgenre. This is a story about one girl who has hidden herself from the rest of the world due to the tragedies that she faced at such a young age. She's learned at a young age the only person she can depend on isn’t a person, in fact it's a herd of wild mustangs. Morgan is a character whom I envy and adore. She is a character that shows great strength. Her survival instincts are uncanny. She’s a breath of fresh air and unlike anyone I have ever read in a novel before. When I first started reading Bad Boy Brody, I felt a likeness between Morgan and myself, and no, I didn’t grow up with a herd of wild mustangs. But growing up in a small country town in Michigan, I found I was more comfortable walking the trails in the woods behind my house. I loved the solitude and the ability to open my mind to all that is great in nature. Now, homes a place to run to when the world feels like it’s getting to be too much.

Bad Boy Brody is also a story about one man’s success that ultimately is caused by his own tragic moments. It’s about him finding the ability to move on from said tragic moment, and learn how to find trust in people again. While Morgan gave strength to this novel, Brody gave it a sense of fragility and hopelessness. My heart hurt for this man and the shit he went through and was put through. But given the fact that he had his business spread and misinterpreted all over the world, one can’t blame him for turning to the bottle and drinking away his self image. He was once known as Hollywood's golden boy. Now he’s Hollywood’s own bad boy.

Bad Boy Brody brings a newness to the romance genre. I can honestly say out of the thousands of books I have read, there has never been one like Bad Boy Brody. I loved the originality Tijan brings to the populated world of romance. Not only is this an epic love story but there is also twists around every turn and a spiritual sense that is the strongest of all.

Bad Boy Brody is a breath of fresh air!

READ THIS BOOK!! Seriously, if you all are like me and love originality in all forms, READ THIS BOOK!

I love Tijan books. Her writing is good, her stories are captivating ( Ryan's Bed is one of my fav books) and I really wanted to love Bad Boy Brody. It was good but it didn't catch me as I thought it would.

The book has a mistery and the heroine is so different from what I read before that it makes this book kinda unique. Brody was amazing. He wasn't a bad boy in my eyes. He was caring and loveble.

The beginning didn't got me, but at 30% the heroine and hero had more interaction and it got a little better. After 50% I couldn't let go cause I was curious with what had happened.

Bad Boy Brody has a good story, and although it wasn't the best read for me I still love Tijan and her stories. And I will read everything she writes.

*I got an ARC of this book. Thank you!

Obrigada!

If you are in the mood for a sweet, beautiful and raw story, don't wait any longer, Bad Boy Brody is the one you need.

When a famous actor meets a woman who is as wild as the horses she lives with,  the most improbable love story blossoms. Both main characters are broken by tragedies that blew their lives. Unexpectedly, against their opposite way of living, they will find their way to each other, eventually learn to trust,  live again and heal their wounds.

I loved Morgan and Brody's connection, the respect of their respective limits, the evidence of their bond.

Morgan is most certainly one of the most surprising heroines I have read about in a long time. I found the way she communicates with horses, reads them and is a part of their herd, fascinating.  She is like the wind, impossible to contain. She is here and then she is gone. It definitely give an ethereal vibe I adored.

The mysterious atmosphere, the need to know more had me riveted, intrigued me. Between Morgan's strange relationship with her siblings, Brody's obligations a an actor, loneliness rules.  And it definitely touched me.

I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED AN ARC COPY OF THIS BOOK. THANK YOU!!!

So where do I begin with this review. I’ve been reading Tijan for a long time and this book was different from her others. I loved Brody and the whole bad boy appeal but when you find out the reasons why it does pull at your heart strings. Brody is sent to do a movie in a small town and this is his last shot at redemption. While he’s there he meets Morgan.

I have to say Morgan was a very interesting character. She owned lots of land and a nice house but prefers the company of horses over people. As a born and raised City gal I had a hard time connecting to her character. I liked her and she had her moments but I didn’t fill on connect like I did with Brody.

As the story progresses we discover some shocking truths. I did enjoy this suspense part of the book and that kept me on my toes..The beginning was a little slow then it picked up and towards the end I couldn’t put it down. As a long time reader of Tijan. I did like the book but I didn’t full on love it like I did “Ryan’s Bed” by this author. With that being said I will be reading future titles from this author and please don’t let my review stop you from reading.

***4,5 "Unbroke!!!" stars***

****************************
"I'm not human enough to be with you..."
****************************

Wow!!!! Just wow!!! This book was surprisingly AMAZING!!!
It's a common knowledge to all of my friends that I love Tijan's books!!!! Imagine that I'm saving some books of hers unreaded for the hard days!!! Bahaha... I'm crazy, I know!!!
Yet, I wasn't expecting this book... It was so different from the rest of hers, but at the same time so wonderfully written...
Even though that i love almost all of her books and their characters and the twists and the drama, this book is possibly her best job!!!!
My only objection for this beautiful book is the title and maybe the cover... They hide the beauty of this book and I don't like it!!!

"How could someone be so torn?
Be content in two different places but always be yearning for the other?"

Well, "Bad Boy Brody" has to do about Brody, a young hot actor who the last year had no very good behavior toward everyone...
Brody used to be a good actor and a good guy, until the day that his world fell apart and he lost one very important person in his life... From that moment, he changed and the Hollywood named him bad boy Brody!!!!
Since that day Brody had a hard time to go on with his life and even though that he continue working, he was drinking a lot and he was acting a little bit... crazy and wild!!!
For rising his carreer, he had accepted to be a part of an indie movie somewhere in the middle of nowhere and there his life will change for once again and that's because of a... ghost!!!

"Overnight, I had gone from Hollywood’s heartthrob to their bad boy. And that brought us to the whole reason I was being driven to somewhere I didn’t want to be to work on a movie I didn’t want to be a part of."

It may the title be about Brody, but my opinion is that the book was more about Morgan than anyone else... Okay for Brody too, but in a smallest part... Bahahaha...
Morgan witnessed brutality when she was still a little girl and from that moment, she decided to spent more time with the wild horses that were running in her land than with the humams that abandoned her and needed from her things that she couldn't give them...
She was wild and untamed... She loved to be with her sister.... Shiloh... and she was enjoying the calmness of the nature in the company of her four legged friends...

"I was given human privileges, ones that I never took for granted. My mother’s inheritance granted them to me. I was able to stay where I was. I could avoid humans as much as necessary. Some knew about me. Some whispered about me. Some thought I was a ghost...
One day I would have to join their world.
That wasn't today."

But now, people are coming in her land in order to make a movie that she agreed to... And everything are changing of her...
The person that is most responsible about this change is Brody. A male actor who is making her heart to beat loud and he is like a siren to the human world...
Now, Morgan is torned between the two worlds and it's very difficult to find a balance...
What will she do after all??? Will her heart decide which world she needs more???
Will Brody's love make her stop being a living ghost??? Or her love for horses will protect her from the world that she loathe so much???

"I had suspected before, but I had as much pull on her as she had on me. Whatever we were locked in, we were both in it.
She'd come back."
{Brody}

"I needed to go to him.
There was a stirring in me, and it was alien, but he would calm it. I knew he would, because he'd been the one to awaken it."
{Morgan}

Well, i loved so much Brody and Morgan...
They were so perfect together with their flows and all...
Brody was accepting Morgan for who she was and even though that he wanted her with him, he realized that he couldn't force her to be somewhere that she didn't want to be...
At the same time, he helped her very much with the past and to find her way back to her siblings...
His love was big and pure and it was right more than anything else... I also liked very much how protected he was of her...

"She wanted to stay with me, but she also wanted to go to Shiloh.
Everytime she chose me, a little lost look entered her eyes."

"I wasn't just reminding her that she was human. I was trying to brand her. I was trying to make her feel she was mine so deep inside that she'd never leave again."

Morgan was unbroke and wild, as her dear friends...
I loved her character so much... She was brave and so strong...
She could do anything, but she had gone through lots of things in her youth... She stayed hidden from the human world for so long and in a way, it was a pity!!!
I loved her relationships with the horses, especially with Shiloh and Shoal...
Brody changed her, but she changed him too... Those two were meant to be...

"Something was changing.
I didn't want it to, but I couldn't stop it.
Because the thing changing was me."

I liked very much the storyline and how the things were unfolding...
It was very intriguing with all those secrets between...
I also liked a lot many secondary characters...
I liked Finn and Abby... Matthew, even though in the beginning he seemed a little bit creepy...
I liked Gayle and why not??? Shanna too!!! LOL
And i liked very much the constant presence of Shiloh and of course, the rest of the herd!!!

“She is wild in her heart. You cannot tame her... You’re from two completely opposite worlds. You’ll never fully fit in with hers, and she’ll never fully fit in with yours.” {Gayle to Brody}

Now, why I didn't put a solid 5 star rating???
Well, the reason for that is that the ending seemed a little bit abrupt for me... I might needed a little bit more informations...
Overall, this was a fantastic and different by Tijan book... So read it!!!

4.5 stars!
A beautiful story, really really good.
I wouldn´t have minded a bit more from the epilogue, a little more of "after", but even so, it´s still a great book.

Brody was a great character and I felt connected to him within the first few chapters You could feel his emotions and inner battles. He was dynamic, strong and passionate and very easy to like.

At times I admit I struggled with Morgan as a character because she frustrated me. I found her too aloof and some of her actions were strange. However in saying that, she did at times reflect great fragility yet such fierceness, I so wanted to love her.

Matthew and Morgan’s scenes gave me hope she would return to her family. Unfortunately, they were too in infrequent and I lost my interest in her as a character and became more invested in others.

Now I loved the siblings, they to me created mystery and drama and kept me wanting to find out all the family secrets and they were worth the wait. The second half of this story was more enjoyable to me as Brody and Morgan’s step-siblings interactions really developed and moved the story forward.

Bad Boy Brody is a slow burn novel and you have to be patient. It is a lovely story with some great supporting characters with mystery and drama.

Bad Boy Brody is a fantastic romance for the wild at heart. This journey was my favorite of Tijan's so far. And that's saying something because I'm crazy about her words. Brody will settle himself into your heart and Morgan brings out the fierceness in your soul. I highly recommend this perfect for spring book. Luxuriate in nature and let Tijan lead this trail ride!

This book was on my List for a long time (since 2018) and it ended up on my tbr bingo list. I read part of it and listened to the audiobook too.

If you love Tijan's books you will love this too. But I only rated it with three stars. Why? I do like Tijan, but her books so far have been exchangeable. Because for me they all have the same angst, dark moody feelings. It's the same setting if you have read Fallen Crest or Bad Boy Brody or Broken and Screwed. For me only Kiran and the Insiders stood out. It doesn't mean that I hate the books. I don't. I come back and read them sometimes. But I would never reread her whole work. I want to read something she wrote recently only to see if I can see some growth in her writing.

That said I did enjoy Bad Boy Brody. A lot of things were pretty foreseeable from the Beginning, like who will be the MC's or how this will end. Loss and Abuse are always topics of Tijan. And I am glad that the author has a big fanbase. But somehow for me it's enough to read one Tijan in a year.

I'm honestly not sure what to think of this book! It's a celebrity romance, but it also has SO much to do with horses. I didn't think these two topics could mesh, but somehow Tijan kind of made it work. Review to come!

Thanks to the author for generously providing me an ARC to review.

La portada se ve muy fea, pero la sinopsis me intriga mucho.

Además, es Tijan, de las pocas autoras que no me decepcionan.

Brody is quickly becoming Hollywood's most coveted leading man. He can't contain his excitement at having his brother attend one of the most important premieres of his career so far. Unfortunately, his night is shattered when his brother ends up in a tragic car accident. From that moment on Brody becomes consumed by his grief that he starts acting out and in turn earning the title of "Bad Boy". It's time for Brody to turn his career and life around. So, when his agent finds him the role that could finally get back to serious actor status and even an Oscar nomination, he accepts.

Morgan is a woman that has disconnected herself from the world, choosing a herd of mustangs over people. She wasn't always this way, but her life took that turn when her mother was murdered. Her stepfather and step-siblings all left to move on with their lives after her mother's death. They left her with the only thing her mother inherited her with, the lands and the ranch. But now, her stepfamily is back after she finally accepted that a movie of her mother's life be made into a motion picture.

This story was a unique one, to say the least. I'm a big Tijan fan, so I was very excited to see what this would be about after reading the premise. It may not have been one of my favourites by Tijan, but It was still quite an emotional one. I will admit that this started off at a slow pace. It took awhile before Brody and Morgan really started talking and forming a bond. But when it finally did, it was interesting to read. I did for the most part like both characters and was very appreciative of Morgan's P.O.V. especially since she could be a bit hard to understand.

Brody was actually quite a sweet character. I loved the lengths he would go to protect Morgan. I also liked Morgan's wild and free spirit, although, she was a bit harder for me to connect with at times. It took me awhile to feel a connection between these two characters but when it finally did reach that point it was absolutely heartwarming.

'We were synced. Maybe we always had been. It was something deeper than us.'

This may not have been a favourite of mine from Tijan like I've already said, however, I still think it was a good read with some twists and a touch of mystery added into this unique tale. I look forward to reading many more of Tijan's books in the future.

I really enjoyed reading Bad Boy Brody, but something just didn't quite feel right to me. The story Tijan delivered is unlike any story I have read before. From the wild mustangs to the movie and the murder there are so many pieces woven so expertly you will fall in love with Brody, Morgan and so many others in this story!

The first time Brody and Morgan made eye contact they knew that there was something special, a sou deep connection between them. They saw each of for a just a blink of an eye, but it was one of those slow motion life moments where it seems slow and then everything else accelerates as soon as you break that connection.

Morgan is a wild woman who began living with the mustangs after tragedy struck and she no longer had a mother to take care of her, a mare from the wild heard took her in. Morgan secluded herself from her family and friends to live on the land with the wild mustangs. Her siblings say that she is more horse than human, but that all changes the moment she meets Brody.

These two are like magnets being drawn to each other. The lust was palpable. The draw. The desire. The need these two had for each other was raw and real. They were two souls that connected on a deeper level that I think they even realized at first.

As more of the story unraveled the more intense things became with both of their pasts catching up to them and coming to head. I found it very difficult at times to trust some of the characters and their intentions.

Bad Boy Brody was filled with intense love and attraction, a desperate wild need and like most Tijan stories I feel it is best to go in as blind as possible!

The minute I heard that Tijan had a new book coming out I was SOLD. I am such a huge Tijan fan and feel all her books are a delicious form of kindle crack. Bad Boy Brody was a different kind of novel from the norm from Tijan as it was deeply touching and emotional while still packing the sexy punch we can always expect from this author. I loved Morgan and Brody and thought their story was brilliant.

I enjoyed this story and found Morgan to be adorable. While I admit I was somewhat taken aback by her deep affinity for horses, I understood her honest and pure love for them. They were her sanctuary - a place where she felt she belonged. Likewise I thought her connection with Brody was beautiful. This man who was struggling in his own right looked at Morgan as a sense of peace and tranquility in his turbulent life. I also enjoyed the hollywood movie/murder storyline very much and could not get enough of their connection and bond.

All in all, this was a great read and I look forward to more from this author in the future.

I am a fan of Tijan, and always look forward to a new release. Unfortunately, this is not a favourite of mine, and I have come away slightly disappointed. Even though there are the basic Tijan elements in this book they we love - lots of drama - some of the storyline was just so unrealistic.

The synopsis of the book is that a Hollywood golden boy star falls from grace when his brother passes in a car accident and is now considered Bad Boy Brody. To fix his image, he agrees to do a low budget film about a murdered woman. Once he gets to the farm where filming will take place, he meets in a very abrupt way, Morgan the daughter of the movie's subject. Sounds great right? And on the whole, the story is good but so much was added to try and give it something extra, it just fell flat.

I liked Brody, and Morgan for that matter but there are moments I had to keep asking, how old are they? I also felt there were some inconsistencies, which are hard to explain without giving away most of the book. This is not a quick read, there are over 50 chapters to get through and most are told in Brody and Morgan's POV. There is also a suspenseful element that I did work out to a point, I felt early on that a certain person was involved in the murder in some capacity. Not that that mattered, as there were plenty of twists to go along with it.

*I received a copy for an honest review.
