She's Everything is the first book in the Cowboy Craze series, and what a great start to a new series. This is the story of Daniel Blackhawk and Sara Riley, and Daniel knows from the beginning that Sara is the one for him. Daniel has suffered some prejudices in his life and it has left him a little bit wary, but it doesn't stop him from pursuing Sara. She hasn't always had an easy life, and at the moment her life is very complicated, but none of that has made Sara bitter. Instead she goes out of her way to help other people and she quickly becomes invaluable to the Blackhawk brothers. Just when Daniel and Sara think that everything is coming together for them, bad things happen, and Daniel handles the situation in the worse way possible. I could go on and on but I don't want to give anything away, just do yourself a favor and don't miss this one, it is loaded with romance, passion, love, loss, family, friends and even a cute little dog named Hope. And pies, lots of pies so don't read this one while you are hungry. I cannot wait to read more from this series because Daniel happens to have three other yummy brothers, Benjen, Easy and Sam. I just know that each one of them will have a special story too. I also loved that some of the characters from Sable's other Hell Yeah books made an appearance in this book, but even if you haven't read their stories you will not be lost. Five shining stars for this one!!
This journey with Sara and Daniel as a spin off from the Hell Yeah series, is as good. Starting with a heart wrenching set of circumstances, a fight, pies, a bar and love finding an unlikely pair. Smooth sailing isn't something the two face but with skill and hot, saucy moments this is definitely a Sable Hunter engrossing read. Anyone who loves the McCoys will love it without thinking, New readers will find themselves falling for the Blackhawks, and bonus finding the McCoys. Tissues may be required it's that good.
Hands down Sable Hunter is my number one go to Cowboy Romance Author. She had my toes curling, my hair sizzling, and even had me ready to say Yee-Haw then pages later I can hardly read my Kindle through the tears. This is an amazing sign of a great and a talented writer. The characters are one I felt were so alive and became one of my best friends. I was in there struggles with them, I cheered them on. A story that developed in just the right time and pace. A story I definitely would recommend to anyone. A five star read.
Fans of Sable Hunter's Hell Yeah series will be thrilled with this new spin off series. Sweet, sexy, and straight up hot! Nothing like an alpha cowboy being taken to his knees by the right woman. Daniel and Sara were just what the other needed. Someone to save them. Lots of passion, family, friends, and even some suspense. I can't wait for more of this series. Daniel has 3 yummy brothers and I'm anxious to see what's in store for them! An added bonus is I get to catch up with some of my favorites from the Hell Yeah series too. Win Win!
I read about 70% of the book. I had to skip part of it because the hero made me so mad but I had to see if it turned out okay. It does have HEA but still not worth reading. The characters (including the support characters) were lacking. The storyline and plot were bad. The romance was good in parts. Too much relationship drama. It had too much drama period. The suspense just seemed to be thrown in at the end like an after thought. I have read thousands of books and this is in the bottom five.
An enjoyable read with a hunky Native American rancher and a sweet young woman who steals his heart when she rushes into the street to save a child from being hit by a car. Daniel caught my attention for his warmth and determination to win Sara's heart, and again when he sought to prove to her she's worthy of love and friendship, that she isn't just a nameless face for others to take advantage of. Sara is an injured soul with the kindest of hearts that you just can't help rooting for her to have a HEA.
This is a fantastic book. I loved it. Sable Hunter has written another great book. You will meet old friends from some of her other books and you will meet new friends. I can not wait for the next book in this series. Yes, the characters have obstacles they have to over come. If you have read any of the Hell Yeah series, you know Sable's characters aren't perfect people, but they find love. I would encourage everyone to get this book it is worth your time and effort.
If you love the Hell Yeah Series, you will definitely love this one just as much. Four brothers who have strived to make their lives great even with the stigmatism of being Native American. Just when everything seems to be lost for Sara, she meets Daniel. They will go through ups and downs as all relationships go through. He will teach her how to love and be loved. She will prove to him that true love conquers all fears.
The concept of the story was ok but it was so poorly executed. The writing itself came across so pretentious that I cringed through a lot of the book. It honestly wasn’t needed. If the author would have just written the story without trying to come across as extravagant, it could have actually worked. Instead, I just found myself skipping sections just to get to the end. Not a good sign.
I always enjoy reading Sable hunter. There is a maturity in the writing that appeals to me. The right amount of angst and beautifully written sexy times haha with a maturity to the hero and heroine to know what they want and go for it
[1.5 stars] not my kind of book, the attraction is too instantaneous for my liking. and i felt that the way sara is being portrayed felt like a 25-30years old woman instead of someone that is only turning 20, too mature for her age maybe? also each chapter is too long, about 10mins reading time.
Nice one, lots of tearjerking but a lot of love, too. We also get a glimpse of the McCoy sisters (and their husbands) who reach out to Sara. There is a happy ending and there's a twist or two the readers will enjoy.
The is a beautiful story of finding hope even in the worst of times. Sara was selling ours from a good truck to make a living next to a biker bar. Daniel was getting food from the bar when he first saw her. They seem just seem to connect, but love does that.
This is another reason I love this author. This was a very good book I truly enjoyed getting to learn about the Blackhawk brothers getting ready to read the next book.
Outstanding! Truly enjoyed this. A touch of whimsy steeped in enough realism to fully immerse yourself in it. You couldn't help but like everyone in it. If this saga continues, would love to keep following them.
It's a sweet story...Daniel Blackhawk the name screams sex, at least to me anyway. So just based on that, Hell yeah, I will continue to read more about the other brothers!
This book was a bit slow in the beginning, seeming a bit formulaic. I almost stopped reading it but am glad I didn’t. I’ve always enjoyed this author’s books and continue to do so.
Sable Hunter - She’s Everything - (Cowboy Craze Series - 1) September 17, 2017
The new spin-off, Cowboy Craze, is from Ms. Hunters’ famous “Hell Yeah” Series that follows four (4) half-apache Blackhawk brothers, Daniel, Samual, Ezekiel, and Benajmin who work on their family ranch together.
Book 1 I read all four (4) books in the series, and they have one thing in common, they don’t “feel” like Ms. Hunter’s writing compared to her other books. Each book is much longer in length, with multiple spelling errors. A good editor should have caught these. In a few instances, a name for a person was the wrong name, which was downright annoying.
There were so many lengthy sex scenes that it became monotonous. Don’t get me wrong, I love a great sex scene, after all, why else do you buy Romance books if not for these delicious scenes. But, after a while, I started skipping through them because they were the same scene different day.
There was a perfect mystery in each book, which could have been really good if the length of the book and long sex scenes had not overshadowed the mystery. But, again, each stage was very long until I got tired of all the details and finished by scanning.
I am disappointed because the Blackhawk brothers were great, and they chose wonderful females that were strong and gutsy. I cannot recommend this series, which makes me sad because I love so many other of Ms. Hunter’s books/series.
