A past she can’t escape. A future she can’t imagine.

When a mysterious stranger blocks Stella’s ability to shift, her plan to live as a loner comes crashing down. With nowhere else to go, she takes refuge with a band of merry misfits in the Enchanted Forest. Not everyone is so kind, though. Her mother is out for her heart, though Stella can’t tell if she should take that literally or figuratively. The mysterious stranger runs each time Stella tries to confront her. And then there’s Harmon, offering a place in his pack that Stella’s not sure she can accept.

As past, present, and future collide, Stella must learn to forgive even when she’s not sure forgiveness is due, accept the kindness of strangers, and embrace the role that destiny has chosen for her.

Author's note: Girl Among Wolves is the best entry point for my world of fairytales and Norse mythology. It is a complete trilogy on its own, but if you want to visit new worlds as well as revisit familiar faces, I recommend reading in the following order:
Girl Among Wolves Trilogy (YA fairytale)
1. Unlikely Magic
2. Beastly Beauty
3. Ghostly Snow

Young Witch Series (mature YA/reverse harem twisted fairytale/norse mythology):
1. Twisted
2. Caged

Hosting Gods Trilogy (mature YA/reverse harem Norse myth):
1. Emerge
2. Ignite
3. Ascend

Winslow Witch Chronicles (mature YA/reverse harem prequel series--PNR and Norse myth)
1. Magic of the Void
2. Sister of the Sea
3. Witch of the Wind (2019)

This book series is so beautiful and perfect for fans of fairy tales, clean romance, and werewolves! It’s such a shame the author doesn’t have more readers! I want to make it my goal to get her discovered because I am SO in love with this book series.

Ghostly snow was probably the best book in the series because the romance is adorable and amazing and so is the plot. I loved how cleanly the author could transition from fairy tale to fairy tale! I hope this review helps you in finding your next book!

This story had so much potential!! I'm so sad that this series turned out to be a let down. The ideas and concepts are wonderful. I love the white tiger idea. But the writing and editing make for such a lack of continuity that I had a hard time finishing this series. Reading these books on kindle unlimited for free was the only reason I didn't abandon. Creative idea! Wonderful story. But one thing might not be true from one sentence to the next. Ditch your editor and keep writing! xoxo

ONE POWERFUL READ!!!
Wow! Talk about a spectacular ending. This is such a thrilling rollercoaster ride with a plethora of emotions to sort through as you follow along to see what happens next. You're not going to believe how this installment plays out. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, ins and outs, along with a few sharp corners to trip on. This is one of the best series I've read. It just keeps kicking it. This is one action packed, hard hitting, fast paced, heart pounding, pulse racing, page turning tales that grabs your attention from start to finish. No ifs, ands or buts about it. The drama, fear, uncertainty and suspense builds throughout and tension spirals. The characters are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. The scenes are so vividly detailed it's easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. Lena did an amazing job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Fantastic job Lena, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

This story rocks. I started reading this series to see if it was appropriate for my neice, but I got caught up in the tale of Stella. This young girl looses her father, gets a long lost mother, and two sisters, one of which is a identical twin.Finds out there are Werewolves, Shifters, witches and other mythical creatures out there in the world than anyone ever thought. But just like Cinderella her mother hates her for no reason Stella can see. Her life changes drastically from a well loved teenager to a hated unwanted slave. But again she finds Prince Charming in Harmon, the Alpha in training. But like all stories you have to have the evil witch that tries to take over, gets splatter and kills off her enemies. How does Stella and Harmon turn out? Do the lies that have been told being about the end of does the truth set everyone free? Enjoy!!

I loved this conclusion to Stella's story. All the twists that show up and everything that happens throughout the story is great. From beginning to end this is an amazing story and it all came together so nicely. In some series the ending feels kind of like there is more that needs to be told and it's a bit of a let down, but this one doesn't quite feel like that. Yes there's more story to be told, but it feels like it's someone else's turn to take center stage and to me that's great. I can't wait to read more in this world and see how it all tuns out, but I'm going to miss Stella because she had this awesome journey and I got to be a part of it for awhile. This was a great ending to a wonderful series and I can't wait for more to come.

I really enjoyed this book. I was immediately drawn into the story. Honestly, the reader can't help but like Stella. You also can't help but feel that the poor girl has had an awful life. Over the 3 books, she has literally been held a prisoner in some way, shape or form. If any heroine deserves happiness, it is definitely this one. Despite her circumstances, she is a fighter and that makes her one of my favorite heroines. She doesn't give up. Instead she bides her time and then fights hard for what she wants out of life.

I will definitely be reading more by this author.

An entertaining thrill ride!

Stella has suffered so much throughout this book. But it made her all the stronger for it. Yes, this is a Snow White remake including the poisonous apple, but Lena Mae Hill has written it so creatively with so many twists and turns I never knew what was going to happen next. This was an entertaining thrill ride, one you won’t want to miss. Highly recommended.

The conclusion to this series! It was interesting. I didn't see too many "Snow White" adaptations in this book. But it was still good. The characters, I'm not too sure if I liked them or not. Sometimes I really connected with them but then I'd disconnect somewhere along the story. Never happened to me before....

Overall: 3.5/5

good read

I grabbed the 1st book for a read later but decided to go on with reading it. I wanted to find out the ending. This book out of 3 wasn’t a page turner as the other 2. I still wanted to finish the series and see how it turned out. It seemed to much going on. The books mention being in arkansas ozark area.

Disappointed. I’m happy with a few things but overall disappointed in the ending. They never referred back to the friends Stella made while “away” after the alpha fight, it ended on too good of a note with everything that happened leading up to the ending. I wished for something more, I also felt an epilogue was needed for 5 years down the road.

Good conclusion

This story wraps up nicely. All the loose ends for Stella are tied up but you can see where other stories may occur. there is some strong language and while no sex scenes there was no doubt about some of the activities going on at one point or another.

Finally

Yes!!! Finally some justice for Stella. I was very happy with this book. Although it did have a few twists I didn't see coming. I'm happy with the way things ended. For anyone who doubts wanting to read this book...its a must. Especially if you read the first two.

Tied up quite nicely

This book finished off this trilogy quite neatly and full of hope and acceptance. I love books with happy endings! This series has it all: betrayal, secrets, lies, magic, and most importantly: hope. It’s a great read, from one book lover to another 😜.

Will Stella Ever be free

Stella is a shifter that has been living with werewolves. As an outsider she has been an outcast. She ends up living outside their valley with a band of misfits, but ends up trapped being a tree.

One really does wonder if she will ever be free.

Mixture

The last of the Girl Among Wolves series is a mix between Disney's version of Robin Hood and Snow White and Pocahontas. So if you like those references you'll like this.

Ghostly Snow: A Dark Fairy Tale Adaptation is the final book in this magical series. Stella's journey is polished off perfectly. A unparalleled highly suspenseful dark & twisted fairytale with a bit of mystery. A well crafted innovative fairytale packed with old & new character's, paranormal elements that are not your cookie cutter shifter tales, & will take you on a thrill ride. I recommend reading this Dark Fairy Tale Adaptation series as it is bewitching.

I’ve had mixed feelings about this series. I rather liked the first book, even though I had issues with bits of it. But I feel like it’s gone downhill after that. I’m sort of relieved that the third and final book is over. But it’s tough to rate because I did really like the characters. The plot was just really convoluted. I was torn between two and three stars, but ultimately gave it two.
